Good swimming at high tide; long walks on the beach at low tide; parking available; and gorgeous sunsets.

Wood Neck Beach was truly wonderful at low tide. The kids found crabs and shells and the swimming was very good as well.

You can watch whales breach off the shore or see the sunset at the end of the day. A new visitor facility was built several years ago that has a lot to offer. There have been improvements to stop beach erosion as well.
