Cape Cod Beach Reviews

We loved visiting First Encounter Beach — it was great at low tide for kids to explore the tidal pools and find marine life and shells. At high tide, it was a safe environment to wade and swim.

You have to park and shuttle to the beach. But we love the orientation of the sun, the amount of sand, the sand bar when low tide etc.

Hands down best beach on the Cape! Clean, busy but tons of space, food available (but bringing your own is part of the experience)! Waves can be strong so keep a close eye on the kiddos, and yes, you may get called out of the water because of a shark siting.
