We stayed at Scott's home for a week as we were waiting to close on our new home. Scott was very communicative and responsive to any questions that I had. The house was pet friendly so that was another added bonus. The home itself was beautifully appointed and well maintained. Would recommend this home!

This is was simply the best vacation rental I have done in the last 15 years. This is a modern property with great furnishings and just a lovely house. Nice comfortable beds and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is great for anyone cooking meals during their stay. The fenced in back yard can't be beat. We are recent dog owners and if you're looking for a vacation location with your dog, this is the place to stay. Owner Scott was responsive and easy to deal with. Comes with beach pass so that is convenient. This also works at the park by the local dog park and that pond has areas and trails you can take your dog swimming in.

My husband and I rented this property for 2 winters (Sept 2024 to May 2025) and again this past year (Sept 2025 to May 2026). We moved temporarily to Cape Cod to be near our daughter and her family and could not have found a more wonderful home to get used to all the wonderful areas of the Cape. Spotless and spacious, but also a nice walk to a track to get out a little and very near Centerville downtown (cute Cape feel) and the beach. Nice deck in the backyard for relaxing when the weather is nice and pretty windows looking out when it is not.

After renting on the Cape for the last 5 years we finally found the house we want to rent again and again!! Spacious, comfortable, clean, updated decor, well equipped kitchen, and a fabulous back patio. The neighborhood is quiet and the back yard is very private. Perfect for bbq's as the patio is shaded in late afternoon. Short distance (15 min) to beaches, stores and restaurants. Scott and Laura, the owners, are easily reachable and responsive if needed. The fact that we rent for 5 weeks makes it important that we feel comfortable….and we really were! Highly recommend!!

Our family including two adult sons and a friend thoroughly enjoyed staying at this home. Very generous owner made sure the house had adequate cleaning supplies and trash bags and other items so that we did no have to purchase when we arrived. Great family kitchen with a 9' Island, very large two level deck with outdoor shower and Weber Grill.

Will definitely check here again before renting near Hyannis.

My family of 5 plus our dog Zuzu had a great week in Centerville! The house was perfect for our needs and the location also worked well for us with many great beaches nearby. Scott was a pleasure to deal with from day one last winter. He was very helpful and kind throughout the process giving me good tips for beaches and restaurants! Best part of the week was finding a place that allowed dogs as it was so fun having our dog share the good vacation times on the cape! I highly recommend renting any of Scott's rental properties as he is a true gentleman!

We enjoyed our rental house. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Scott was easy to work with and very responsive. The best features include its updated kitchen and central location. In addition, Scott provides a beach pass that gets you free parking at the local beaches (just 3-5 miles away depending on where you want to go). We would definitely recommend Scott's house.

Great family home, our second year renting this property. Everything is clean, updated, and well kept. Good space for a family, big rooms, and big bathrooms. Nice deck, bbq, washer and dryer. Beach pass is awesome too. Love the location, central to everything. Scott is very helpful and communicates with you quickly. We recommend this home for your next escape to the Cape.

We lived our two week stay. Scott completely renovated this beautiful home and we so happy and comfortable there with our Goldendoodle. He loved playing in the yard! The home was furnished with many amenities and we were able to settle right in!
He was readily available to respond to any questions we had. It is a great neighborhood to walk around in S well. I highly recommend this home. We will definitely be back!

This Centerville home made for the perfect vacation for our family of 4. The house layout is perfect and everything is updated, clean and well taken care of. The location is perfectly located with beautiful beaches, great restaurants and flexibility to drive reasonable to other areas of the Cape. Scott is a great host and very responsive if you ever need him. We can't wait to return!

Having weekended on the Cape for much of my childhood and early adulthood, I endeavor to spend one week every summer with my wife and children reliving those memories for myself and building them for my girls. For the best ten or so years, this vacation has coincided with Dance Nationals for my youngest girl of three. However, as the girls have grown, the comfort level of hotels has not. Early experiences with vacation rental homes several years ago had soured us. However, at our girls' insistence, we gave it one last shot. My little girls were all college age and this might be the last time we could all get away together - all I had to do was find a home where three young adult women (18, 19, and 20) AND our dog could coexist for a week. We did it. Thank you Scott!
We arrived early - in 3 cars (to accommodate dance schedules and other plans) - and were greeted warmly and with flexibility. The house was still being reset for our arrival but we were able to empty the cars into the garage and head back out to run some errands in one car rather than three.
Once we returned, we found the house to be immaculate. Everything we needed was provided. The girls were able to find their own space. This was even more crucial for our week as the weather was a complete wash-out. Cloudy, rainy, and unseasonably cool at times, there were no real beach days. The house is in a great location, central to every escape necessary when the weather was not exactly beach-worthy.
Our greatest trepidation when renting a home vs. booking a hotel was the necessary cleaning. Scott has minimal requirements in terms of prepping the home for the next party, yet we found it (as I'm sure all renters do) in absolutely immaculate condition upon our arrival.
The girls had a great time. Cookie loved her walks around the neighborhood. Friendly neighbors.
All the reviews attesting to the quality of the home and Scott's attentiveness are dead-on accurate. A wonderful experience from booking through our departure and beyond.
Scott gently reminded me only one time to leave a review, if I wanted. I most definitely did and wish I had found the time sooner to leave a glowing review. Life away from vacation made that difficult.
Regrettably, we will not be able to return in summer of 2025. We wish we could. However, as I suspected, my girls now 21, 20, and 19 for the summer have school and life commitments that will make a summer escape to the Cape impossible.

This house was the perfect rental during our stay in Cape Cod. Spacious, new, clean, nice central area, had everything we needed for a week's stay! Scott, the homeowner was helpful and communicated with us about the property before we arrived, and everything was ready to go! We will definitely rent again with Scott when we return to Cape Cod.

We had a very comfortable stay. Scott was a wonderful host. He comes as soon as you need anything. The house is updated and provided the perfect space for a family of six. Centrally located to shops, grocery stores and beaches. The beach pass a plus!

Our stay at this property was amazing. It was located in a quiet neighborhood where I could walk and my son could ride his bike. Although it was in a quiet neighborhood, it was not far from many attractions, such as beaches and shopping. The beach pass was definitely a plus and we took full advantage of it and tried different beaches throughout the week. When we weren't out and about, we could relax on the deck or the central A/C house, which was fantastic. The kitchen was beautiful and the bathrooms were large and amazing. Everything we needed was at hand. This home is definitely on my list of ones to return to! :-)

I had been looking on airbnb, vrbo, and other websites when I got the idea to rent a house on the cape for the week of my birthday. Most of the properties were either too expensive or too small to accommodate a bigger group. I was ready to give up on the idea when I came across weneedavacation.com. Scott was listing his property at a special rate and as soon as I saw it, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. Plenty of space for up to 6 people and very reasonably priced. Everything regarding the house was above expectations and Scott is maybe the best host I've ever worked with. If you're looking for a spot that is convenient and reasonably priced, you should stay with Scott.

This home has been beautifully redone. It has a brand new kitchen and new bathrooms. The location is fantastic for being able to see the entire Cape. Scott, the owner & manager of the property, is kind and responsive. Anything we needed he handled it immediately. Not only would we recommend this property we hope to stay again.

What an absolutely beautiful home!! We have been renting on the cape for the last 20 years and this home ranks at the top. Completely redone and furnished ranch with plenty of room for everyone. The only thing we had to bring were beach towels. Located only 3 miles from Craigville Beach in a quiet residential area. Highly recommended. Scott is a great host and responds quickly to any questions.

We were very happy with our stay here. The house was well stocked for our needs. The fenced in back yard was very private. We enjoyed barbecuing and dining outside. It was well suited to all our needs.

I stayed here for 3 months while traveling for work, Scott was a wonderful host and promptly available for anything I needed. This home is absolutely lovely - it's been beautifully remodeled and is spacious, clean and bright. Everything I needed for my stay was provided including ample linens and a well stocked kitchen. The location is perfect for taking advantage of all the Cape has to offer and the neighborhood is friendly and quiet. I highly recommend this home for a short or long term stay.

This house was just beautiful! It was recently remodeled with a gorgeous kitchen and baths. There is also a nice deck and a peaceful, private back yard. Scott let us check in early since it was ready, which was nice! He let us use a pass to get into a variety of beaches for residents only. So many great beaches to see! Being close to Hyannis was great. You can catch a ferry to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket which make great day trips. There are also lots of restaurants and shops too. Scott was a great host — very nice and friendly. We had a great time and look forward to coming back again next year!

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic week at this home. The location was central to the Cape and made it easy to explore the entire area. The house is well appointed and very clean. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog and felt she was secure in the fenced in yard. I would highly recommend this home.

The interior is stunning. The updated kitchen with large island allows for plenty of room for food preparation and seating. The master bedroom/bathroom offers plenty of storage and a beautiful stand up shower. There were two other bedrooms and a nice 2nd bathroom.

We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck enjoying our meals while our dogs roamed the fenced in back yard. The garage offered a place to store our bikes, and the beach pass is a nice option to have.

The house was perfectly appointed, with all kitchen utensils, appliances, and a great outdoor deck with a barbeque. Dinners indoors or outside were enjoyable with our family. Storage space was wonderful. The pass to the beautiful beach was great.
Shopping and restaurants in Hyannis were within 10 minutes.
The owner, Scott, was very attentive and made us feel as if we were his own visiting family. He couldn't have been nicer.

My family and I were totally pleased with this beautiful home. Not only was everything remodeled in a modern, yet very comfortable style, all the appliances were high quality and the house was pristine. So much storage space in all the rooms as well as spacious.

We had a wonderful week staying there and it had all the amenities one would need, plus! We would love to stay here again, as it is one of the nicest homes I have rented on the Cape, and I have been renting for over 20 years!

We really enjoyed our vacation time at this lovely house. Very clean, thoughtfully laid out and furnished. Kitchen is well equipped. This property is conveniently located with access to amazing variety of Barnstable beaches, and a lovely, secluded yard. This property checks all the boxes for a wonderful vacation.

We spent two weeks in this lovely house. We were so impressed at how new and clean everything was. We had plenty of space. We loved the large open kitchen. We spent nights cooking dinners followed by games at the dining table. We spent mornings on the deck while our dog played in the fenced in backyard. We would be happy to stay here again.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this beautifully remodeled home. The kitchen is stunning and features a very large and cleverly designed island which made meal prep easy and convenient. The appliances are all easy to use and up-to-date. We also used the gas grill on the rear deck, just a few feet away from the kitchen through the sliding glass door. Although it was too cool to eat on the deck during most of our week's stay, the back deck has a lovely dining table and chairs, as well as a relaxing seating area.

The decor of the home encourages relaxation and serenity. All of the furnishings are new and comfortable. Even the ceiling lighting and table lamps are thoughtfully placed throughout the home. The living room/dining area is large and airy. The master bedroom suite, including a large bathroom with double sinks, and a thoroughly outfitted California-style closet, made everything we needed convenient and easily accessible. The king size bed, with linens provided, was very comfortable. Also, it was very handy to have the full size washer and dryer right outside the bedroom door -- no need to carry a load of wash up from the basement!

The house was immaculate upon our arrival. This was especially important to us during this time of COVID-19. It inspired a feeling of confidence in us about the house during our stay.

Having vacationed for many years on the Cape and usually having to make do with fans and/or window A/C units, we very much appreciated the central air conditioning in this home.

The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood of similar style homes and flat streets. That makes running, walking and bike riding in the general area very easy and pleasant.

Scott was a wonderful and extremely responsive host. He answered all of our questions promptly and fully; he made sure that we had everything we needed. One of the very special features of this rental was the beach parking pass that Scott provided for our use at the bay, Nantucket Sound and lake beaches in Centerville, Barnstable and Hyannis. We were able to enjoy visiting a number of less crowded beaches that only resident/taxpayers otherwise experience because Scott generously allowed us to use the pass during our stay. That was a wonderful aspect of this rental.
