My wife and I have been vacationing on the Cape for over thirty years. This year, we were thrilled to introduce the newest member of our family to Chapin, Mayflower, and Corporation beaches. Our granddaughter was born at the end of March and this trip was an opportunity to celebrate many firsts with her. Along with our son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter, we spent time at the area beaches enjoying the Dennis "flats" and dined at Captain Frosty's, Chapin's Bayside, Gina's, and Scargo Cafe to name a few of the "regular" spots. We found The Gull to be inviting, well maintained, clean, and a very comfortable base for all of our Cape adventures. The property is perfectly situated near the Dennis beaches and popular area restaurants, as well as for those forays to Brewster, Chatham, Orleans, Eastham and Truro. The property is located within a quiet residential beach neighborhood populated by locals and vacationing couples and families. The backyard fire pit was a fun amenity and we all enjoyed toasted marshmallows several times during our stay. Upon arrival, the house and bathrooms were spotless, the kitchen appliances are new and clean, and the window A/C units and ceiling fans kept the home comfortably cool. This house exceeded all expectations. We loved walking to the beach, walking to Chapins, and enjoying time outside. The inside is very clean and had more than enough room for our family (2 adults, 2 small children, and dog). Outdoor shower and deck were huge bonuses!

Such a great house. So roomy and comfortable. Beautiful area, steps away from 2 beautiful beaches! Sunsets were gorgeous. Just a wonderfully relaxing time. We definitely will be back -- only for two weeks next year!!!

We have rented both the villas and the Gull house and both have been excellent. You simply can’t beat the location. The Gull house is spacious and homey and has a great outdoor shower and outdoor eating area. The master bedroom is spacious, the queen room is great for a second couple and the bunk room is perfect for the kids. The close walks to Chapin and Gina’s and the beach area between Mayflower and Chapin beaches were the highlights of our trip. We already booked for next year! Both my family and our friend's family have split rentals in the Mayflower Beach area for the last 10 years. We have rented the beach villas for the last 5, and most recently this past year we rented this property. There couldn't be a better area to be as far as location is concerned! Both the Villas and the Main Beach House are ideal spots to be between our favorite restaurants Gina's and Chapin's. To give you an idea of space in the main beach house, between the 2 families we have 9 people total (4 adults and 5 children) and the house is plenty big. My family enjoyed our stay at this beach home very much! It had everything we needed from a nicely appointed kitchen to a king bed in the master. Its location is superb! We walked to the nearby restaurants just a hundred yards away. We saw the sunrises in the mornings since it was just a stone's throw from Mayflower Beach. The yard was great to have a fire, play guitar and sing songs! We will definitely be back! What a gem!
