    Fantastic Stay!

    This house was great! The location is wonderful, a very short walk to a nice beach. We ventured to Seagull beach one day but the kids just preferred the convenience of the deeded beach and I was happy to save the money! It was humid a couple days but a single AC kept it nice inside. The outdoor furniture was very nice to sit on and listen to the ocean or read. Very nicely stocked with nearly everything you could need. The beach chairs were very much appreciated!

    Great Labor Day weekend home
    September 2020

    Leslie was great and the house was wonderful! Outdoor space was really nice and it was a perfect weekend weather wise to really enjoy it. Nicer than in photos because of some updated furniture and new additions to the house including a firepit added to the outdoor area midway through the stay! :) We also utilized the private beach extensively, literally less than a 5 minute walk away from the house. The beach is was pretty crowded however but that's to be expected on a weekend like Labor Day. Overall amazing stay! show more show less

    Katie's crew were great guests! Tide was high mid-day over Labor Day weekend resulting in less beach. Mid-day low tides are always much preferred :-). But they had fantastic conditions otherwise— gorgeous weather and clear water!

    So happy we had a wonderful week in West Dennis this year! We are returning guests of Leslie's! We have been coming down for 4 years straight, and have to say we have had the best weather each time!!! This is a cozy , air conditioned, clean, with a lot of extras , cottage! New patio, gas fire pit, and grill! Plenty of comfy outdoor furniture to enjoy!! Roomy front and back yard , plenty of room for parking boat, etc... and boat landing close by ! Also in walking distance to private beach, is a plus! Had no problem with eating in , grilling, or just getting take out food close by! Leslie has been upgrading this cottage each year, and she also added a new air conditioner, and awesome shades for each room! Can't forget the WiFi ! A plus for the grandkids!!     We have stayed with Leslie for 2 weeks every year for the past 5 years! She is always so accommodating and we have never had any issues! The home is a classic beach house and the walk is so close to the beach! We are looking forward to our 2 weeks next year! Thanks Leslie!

    Truly a spectacular place to stay and vacation. Comfortable inside and out with a delightful beach-chic decor, the patio is made for entertaining or just chilling. Just a short walk to a private beach area that is perfect for sitting in the sun or playing in the waves. Overall a wonderful time that will surely be repeated in the future.

    Amazing stay just steps from the beach!

    We were lucky enough to find this gem! A tidy, cozy little cottage with beautiful and whimsical Cape-themed decor, a stone's throw from the beach. The patio is amazing with so much room for dining, our little ones enjoyed playing games on the spacious table tops and had their own space away from adults. There is a nice side and front yard for yard games as well. The kitchen is tiny, but has all of the important cookware and implements and the design makes excellent use of the space; we cooked in every night and had no complaints. The bedrooms are spacious by Cape standards and the additional bunk bed was a win for our kids, who each were able to get a top bunk! I can not say enough about this cottage.     Hi I'm Leslie, single mom of 4 grown kids and 2 4-leggeds. I grew up on Cape Cod — Brewster elementary, Nauset middle school & bona fide Nauset High grad. I've owned & managed rentals on lower cape since 1999, this location in West Dennis since 2003. My kids all grew up going to this house & have a special love for the house and the area. My oldest just recently got engaged there ??. The area has a way of drawing you in & winning your heart. I think you'll agree.

    What is special about this property?
    This property is a quintessential cape beach house - comfortable indoor and outdoor living. A little bit dressed up, yet welcoming of sandy feet. Deeded access to Windward Beach at the beach end of Trotting Park Rd (a 3 minute walk) means you can arrive, park & never leave. Never worry about beach stickers or lugging lunches, & coolers to the beach - just pop back to the house, only 300' away. The outdoor space for entertaining is endless. The front yard is enormous - tons of room for kids volleyball, corn hole & such. A fantastic location for lemonade stands…right on the path of parched crews walking to & from the beach. Sunsets and fireworks down at the beach are incredible. And the location between Swan River and Bass River is unrivaled! Ample parking with space to park trailered boats if you so desire! Great fishing & aquaculture off all the jetties & at swan river. And a fantastic location for water sports (there's a kayak at the house) bring floats, lily pads, paddle boards, etc.


    What is special about your town?
    The area is coming into its own as a red hot restaurant & entertainment center with recent additions like Love Farms, Clean Slate Eatery, Lune and Pelham House all award winning destinations. It's a destination location for nightlife with 8-9 live music venues in a 1-2 mile stretch right near the house (Sand Bar, The Chip, O'Sheas, Cleat & Anchor, Red Nunn, Ocean House Beach Bar & more.)
    A perfect nearby location if you're attending a wedding or celebration at the Lighthouse Inn.
    For the younger crew there are numerous nearby attractions, mini-golf, ice cream galore, bounce parks, go carts, batting cages, arcades, etc.
    And it's a short drive to "the city" (Hyannis) where full scale shopping is located.
