Comfortable, updated, pet friendly retreat!

I spent a week at Janet's family home in South Dennis. The house was immaculate and had everything you would need thru out the whole house. Very cozy and warm. Provided information on restaurants and activities in the area. Available for any questions or needs. A very gracious host. I look forward to another stay in the future.

We spent another wonderful 2 weeks at our home away from home. Clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you want. Janet is such a joy to work with and available for any questions. We have booked our 2 weeks for next fall already and look forward to vacation in our 2nd happy place. Thank you again, Janet for allowing us to stays in your lovely home.

This is truly a lovely updated, clean and comfortable home. Tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. Everything is as described and as the pictures show... no surprises. Perfect central location that was easy to get to/from no matter where your daily activities lead you to. The kitchen was WELL stocked. They had both kinds of coffee makers (we're Keurig users, so that worked best for us), blender, and even an airfryer (Made local sea scallops to die for using the airfryer).... Nice that there's ceiling fans in each bedroom and living room because it was a bit warm & humid when we were there, but the fans made it comfortable. Loved the screened in porch for enjoying our meals and morning coffee and even the outdoor shower was awesome. (GREAT water pressure and as hot as you want). All in all, this is a great find on the Cape and would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our time at Janet's home. The house was newly updated and had everything you could need for a great week down the Cape! We loved the screened in porch and the outdoor shower-didn't shower indoors once all week. Janet was a great host, good communication, and recommendations. The home is centrally located so it was easy to go to some of our favorite local spots but also easy to get to Chatham, Harwichport, and the Beachcomber. Highly recommend staying at her home!

We recently vacationed at this lovely Cape Cod home. The tastefully updated house was warm and welcoming. We found everything we needed there for a much needed week of relaxation. We especially enjoyed our evenings on the screened in porch, eating dinner and playing games together at the picnic table. Janet was a wonderful hostess who responded quickly to any questions we might have.

We stayed for 9 days and could have stayed longer, it just felt like home. Very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Janet was so gracious to communicate with, it was such an easy process to rent. Great location, close to beaches, groceries and shopping. We have been visiting the cape for the past 35 years and hope to stay in this gem again next fall. Thank you for everything Janet!

My family and I had a great week at this house. It is gorgeous, immaculately clean and a perfect location.

The yard is huge, great patio to relax on in the evening. Nice refreshing outdoor shower as well.
There is a screened in room off the kitchen with seating, a picnic table and even a TV. Our family spent most of our week out there, playing games, eating our meals outside and enjoying the nice weather.

The kitchen ia huge, updated appliances, plenty of pots, pans and dishes. There is a nice size living room and 3 roomy bedrooms.
Down in the basement there is laundry machines for you to use as well.

The *only* drawback I can think of is that there is no air conditioning in the house. It was a hot week so there were a few uncomfortable sleeping nights.

I cannot wait until vacation next year!

My family has been renting this beautiful cape house for the last 3 summers! We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay and the owners of the house. Communicating with Janet is always so easy, she's sweet, caring and wants our family to enjoy her Cape home. We look forward to our week at the cape ALL year. The house has everything you need! Wifi, comfortable living room for those rainy mornings/days at the cape, board games and cards. She doesn't miss a detail when it comes to your vacation. The house is clean, beautifully updated and renovated. Perfect for families with young children. Every room has a "beach" feel, from the ocean themed quilts on the beds to the starfish coasters and decor. The yard is great, and private! Our favorite spot is the screened in porch, we really enjoy relaxing out there after the beach and into the evening. We can't wait to go back in 2023!

We had a very nice week at the cape house. It was a great location. Very central to get to the beaches and restaurants. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Janet was a pleasure to rent from.

Our favorite part of the house was the screened-in porch, we played lots of games around the picnic table. We loved how easy it was to get to all of our favorite spots in Dennis and surrounding towns. Both indoor and outdoor showers were great! We loved that we could bring our pup, Pippin along with us. He had a great time in the backyard and enjoyed walks around the neighborhood. Janet was very responsive to all emails and was very helpful! Would love to stay here again :)

The house was very clean and comfortable in a nice neighborhood and near major routes very easy to get anywhere you are going. The owners were very nice to deal with, we would rent again.

We enjoyed our stay at Janet's house in Dennis. Janet was a thoughtful host, the home was spotless and has all amenities needed for a wonderful week on the Cape. We brought our own disposal kitchen and bathroom supplies, however, the kitchen was stocked with essentials like dish soap, hand soap, cleaning supplies, etc. We were worried about the lack of air conditioning but the cool Cape nights made up for the missing air. we enjoyed the enclosed porch and had our meals at the picnic table, which was perfect. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor shower. The location was perfect, being mid cape, and everything was within a 10 minute drive.

This home is bright and has everything a person could need on vacation. We loved everything in the home and the location too. It was nearby shopping plazas and not far from the major routes that lead you to everywhere else you may want to travel on Cape Cod. The home is immaculate and very updated with new appliances. We will want to come back here again. You have everything you need at hand.

The house is exactly as described. It is completely renovated in very good taste. It is spotlessly clean.

The location is perfect, and within easy driving distances to great beaches, restaurants, supermarkets, ice cream shops, etc. The outdoor shower is amazing! It's very spacious, and private.

Even though it is not air conditioned, it does have ceiling fans which do keep the temperature comfortable.The open windows also provide cross ventilation.

Janet, the owner is extremely attentive and gracious.I definitely recommend this rental, and would definitely return here myself.

This is our second year staying is this house and we love it! They updated this year and it looks amazing! I love that this home is centrally located so easy access to many attractions on the Cape! We enjoy the privacy and quiet of the neighborhood!
We will be returning for as long as they allow. Lol.

We had a lovely family vacation week at your home with our adult children and family dogs. Thanks for all of the restaurant tips as our first night there was a birthday celebration we were able to order in a really scrumptious dinner easily. Your home is centrally located on the cape to all of our favorite cape destinations and we'll most certainly be considering staying in this relaxing home again. Really loved spending time playing games on the porch!

This was our second time renting from the family, and our stay was just as pleasant as the first time ! Excellent communication with the owners of the home, and they were very accommodating!

The home is beautiful, cozy, and central to everything. Despite no air conditioning we all agreed the ceiling fans kept us cool and comfortable.

Outdoor shower is a refreshing way to wash away the day at night, and we pretty much lived out on the patio or in the screened in area off the kitchen. Short drive to Brewster beaches or West Dennis beach which made getting take-out at some of our favorite eateries convenient to bring to the beach for the sunset.

We were so happy that Janet and her family were able to share their sweet home with us in the off season. We were on Cape Cod to visit family who live on the Mid and Outer Cape, and this house was conveniently located to both. The beautiful beaches on the bay side are just a few minutes away, and it's a quick drive to grocery stores and restaurants. The house is very clean, bright and comfortable.

It is also wonderful that it is pet friendly and economical at the same time. It is set in a cute neighborhood of permanent and second homes, and all the neighbors we encountered while walking the dog were friendly. This house has been in Janet's family for a long time and you can see that it has been well loved and taken care of. We especially appreciated Janet's tips about the nearby beaches and the neighborhood park, which was a wonderful place to walk the dog, stretch our legs and meet the people who were working out at the small exercise stations along the paths. We were looking for a nice house in Dennis to rent for our family vacation and we found it in this property. It is conveniently located to everything: the market, beaches and Route 6.

The house itself is a cute beach house, very clean with a nice yard and of course an outdoor shower which was a favorite of the kids.

Our favorite part was the screened in porch where we had coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening as well as watching some TV. We highly recommend this property.
