this is 2 levels and great for family and friends to stay together. 4 lovely bedrooms.
a nice yard to relax and play outdoor games . there is a nice outdoor shower w/ hot and cold water to enjoy as well!
the house is clean and beautiful, we cannot wait to return!

My boyfriend and I stayed in their smaller rental, The Crew's Quarters, a couple years ago and were so thrilled with our stay that we recently paid a second visit with our friends for an anticipated vacation in the Captain's Quarters. We were all amazed with how sleek and intuitive everything was, not to mention that there was plenty of space for all 8 of us staying. I cannot recommend Mike & Dave enough - after many years of vacationing on the Cape, there is nobody who will treat you with the same excitement and attention quite like them. We are already looking forward to our next stay in the future!!

This beach house is modern, immaculate, comfortable ,tastefully decorated, and had every amenity you could think of for the home and the beach. Close to beaches and restaurants.
Our host Dave and Mike were very accommodating and easy to reach. Their Home greeted us with flowers, a bottle of wine, delicious brownies, and treats/gifts for our grandchildren. We had mentioned to Mike that we enjoy sitting around a campfire, roasting marshmallows while enjoying our family and friends company. The next day, he placed a propane grill in the yard for us to enjoy. Can't wait to go back next year !

Our family of 11 had an amazing week at Depot Street! We were greeted with flowers, wine, homemade brownies and beach toys for the children. The property is spotless inside and out, with many high end amenities. Our hosts, Dave and Mike were always available if needed. They provided us with everything and anything you'd ever need to enjoy a beautiful week in Dennisport.

We had a wonderful week as an extended family - with 4 adult children/spouses and parents. The Captain's Quarters was incredibly welcoming when we arrived with brownies, fresh flowers and champagne. Beds were all made and there were plenty of bath and beach towels. The house is updated with everything you would ever want, Keurig and Bunn coffee makers, beach gear, plenty of kitchenware and new sofa in family room. The hosts were friendly, and checked in to see if we needed anything. The location in Dennisport was very central to the ocean, the bay beach (Corporation is our favorite) and Sea Street beach (about a 15-20 min walk). Just a lovely time. Thanks for everything!

We had the privilege of being the first to stay in the Captain's Quarters after the gorgeous renovation, it was amazing! The house is in the perfect spot - it's an easy walk or bike ride to the beach, but still peaceful and private. Everything you could need is within walking distance - dining, ice cream, swimming and everything you want is a 15 minute drive (or less!). And there was plenty of space in the house for our family of 5 to spread out and relax. The kitchen is probably the nicest I'll *ever* use (love the smart fridge and the thoughtful floor lights! not one of the typical rental kitchens with the dull knives and scratched cookware) and the central air kept all of us cool at the end of the day. Mike went above and beyond to accommodate us, he and David are perfect hosts and their beautiful home shows it. We've stayed in a lot of rental houses over the years and this one is definitely one of the best.

The house was very nice and super clean! Arrived very late starving and nothing was open for food and the owners Michael and David brought fresh fruit and made hamburgers. The owners went above and beyond expectations throughout the entire stay! One night they brought over ice cream and homemade hot fudge. The house is nicely decorated and they had fresh flowers waiting upon arrival! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a lovely Cape Cod getaway! I will be back!

This was our first time staying at the Captains Quarters and certainly wont be our last. Before we even booked Mike went above and beyond with making sure this would be the right fit for our family. He took the time out of his day to answer all of my questions and provide any and all insight he had about the area. This did not stop after our call, when we arrived to the rental Champagne and flowers waiting for us. Mike and Dave ready to answer any questions and ensure we had all we needed.

The house was so clean and had so many amenities for us to use. Basically anything you could think of they had. We cannot say enough about how welcoming and comfortable we felt in the home. Every room spacious, and the central air was such a nice feature!

Mike and Dave were absolutely wonderful and the property exceeded expectation. It is so important to have a home you can enjoy while on vacation. It made our week stress free so we could enjoy every minute. We can't wait to come back.

On a personal note. We had a special visit from a bird that sat in the flower box all day long. We weren't sure if it was hurt, so we left it be. When we got back from the beach, Mike had taken the time to print off a special note after finding out it was a Mourning Dove and what they represented. It happened to be our Grandmother who passed 90th birthday that day. The dove stayed all day long and was gone the next morning. It was a nice moment for all of us to share and one we wont forget.

I can't say enough about this vacation. We are an extended family of 8, including a baby and a physically impaired great-grandmother. The house fitted most of our needs, especially the clean linens, towels, beach towels and well-equipped kitchen, including lots of spices and staples.

We have been renting on the Cape for over 40 years, and I can honestly say this has been one of the nicest. All thanks to the owners, Mike and Dave. They were beyond hospitable, catering to our every need. This was the first time we rented for 3 weeks and it was so worth it. The house was spotless when we arrived with lovely flowers and champagne, and they hosted a birthday for my son, including cake, ice cream (Sundae School), decorations, cards and gifts. It was such a fun night. We'll cherish this and many other moments we had this summer.

Our new favorite spot in Dennisport! We rented this house with our two daughters and our sister and her kids. The house offered plenty of space and was a 15 min or less walk to Inman beach, 10 min walk to the Sundae School (great homemade ice cream), 5 minute walk to the Wee Packet (hidden gem of a breakfast place). We walk with slow toddlers and the neighborhood offered lots of charm, beautiful flowers and historic houses.

Owners are beyond accommodating and responsive!!! A++++ communication. Very clean and house is as pictured.

The Captain's Quarters is a lovely retreat anytime of year, and Mike / David are very welcomeing and made every effort to ensure we had everything we needed. The house is very comfortable and close to beaches, we went for walks every day, the sunsets were spectacular. I love this spot and intend to come back again... it's just perfect !

This was our second wonderful visit to the captains quarters. The owners are very welcoming with wine, flowers and kindness. The home is spotless. It is well stocked with kitchen equipment, towels, bedding, bicycles, a gas grill and other amenities which made it home like. We walked with our young grandchildren to the beach everyday. It is very close. 6 of us stayed there very comfortably. There was room for more. We cooked many of our meals there but those who wished a night out found great restaurants near by, including those with extensive gluten free items.

We love the Cape in the fall. We were able to fly kites, look for shells and take long walks by ocean. Our hosts left us great suggestions for activities. We look forward to future visits.

There were eight of us on this vacation looking for a relaxing week. This was the perfect place. Immaculate describes the cottage. Beautiful fresh flowers and champagne started our vacation on a high note. Cable, utensils and salt water taffy. Grills to cook our food on made it effortless to have a quick meal. We couldn't ask for more.

We arrived for our vacation with a large group (5 adults, 3 teens, including one adult who is physically handicapped) as the Cape was preparing for a possible hurricane- Mike and Dave were beyond helpful and reassuring! Which is a theme that stayed throughout our vacation- in all of the beach houses I have rented, I have not had more accommodating and helpful hosts!

The house is exactly as depicted on the listing, impeccably clean, and the beds are beyond comfortable. Between the indoor and outdoor spaces, you will not be cramped as you are in so many other Cape rentals. There are a lot of places within walking distance; shops, restaurants, ice cream, and two smaller bay beaches. If you need a bigger beach, West Dennis is about a 5-10 minute drive depending on traffic.

I have been renting beach cottages for over twenty years, and can honestly say I have not had a better experience than this one. Mike and Dave go above and beyond any expectations to make sure you are comfortable on their property and have what you need- I will not say too much as I do not want to spoil any one else's surprise, but trust me, you could not do better than this!

We had the best week at Mike and Dave's cozy, CLEAN, and air conditioned rental! There was plenty of space for four adults (plus a 5th guest for a couple nights) and a very active toddler (who learned to walk on their great lawn out front)!

The beds were very comfortable, the outdoor furniture where we spent most of our time was great, the wifi was strong and everything we needed (towels, napkins, etc.) were provided. It was wonderful to just walk right in and be on vacation.

The wine was also such a nice touch and we still can't get over how delicious the brownies were that Mike dropped off to us on the last night. It was the perfect trip after a long 2 years without a vacation. We can't wait to come back! THANK YOU, Mike and Dave - such a pleasure to meet you both!

We had such a great vacation. Mike and Dave truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We walked in to a very clean home with pails and shovels for our kids and a bottle of wine for us. Additionally they provided all things needed for Covid (sanitizer, wipes, masks, etc). Anything we needed Mike was sure to make sure we had it. Additionally he went and got an amazing cake and decorations for my husbands birthday to surprise him. We were truly taken back by how attentive and kind Mike and Dave were.

The home is exactly as described with beds/space. Everyone agreed that all the beds were very comfortable, which isn't always the case in rental homes. This is also a great location being close to so many beaches, you can take your pick each day.

We had a fantastic time. Mike and Dave provided everything you needed and more! Beach towels, beach blanket, chairs and sand toys. They thought of everything and more. The house was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and there were more towels than you get at a hotel. If you're looking for a great place to stay this is the place.

My family of 4 adults and 3 children ages 5 and 2 stayed here for 8 days in July 2021. The cottage was in a very nice location close to the town and local eateries. Beaches were very clean and access was never a problem. We visited West Dennis and Mayflower beaches which were great for the kids. Cottage had plenty of room and we weren't cramped at all. Mike and Dave were great host and always had little gifts for the boys. One night they even brought over home made chowder and ice cream. They made our experience

What amazing hosts Mike and David were for our Annual Girls Get Away! The house was roomy, clean and all the personalized touches made it so inviting; there was a lovely gift waiting upon our arrival and beautiful flowers throughout the house! Mike and David supplied just about everything you might need for a week down the Cape from all the bath towels you need, all your linens, a kitchen with everything you can think of, beach towels, beach chairs, and coolers; bikes, yard games, they thought of everything! A beautiful yard, great for dining outside or just sitting having a drink.

While we were there, a huge storm (they thought it was going to be a tornado) hit the area. Mike and Dave had it covered! They brought over a Storm Emergency Kit. It was a HUGE tote full of flashlights, water, (I'm really not sure what else, because it had a seal on it and as it turns out we didn't need it, so we didn't break the seal). These guys really care about their guests like you are family!

Mike and David were engaging hosts and couldn't have been more accommodating. We were fortunate to try Mike's brownies and some local homemade ice cream they brought over one night. So good! We are looking forward to another stay with them next year!

We appreciated the beach towels and beach chairs/toys and outdoor games. Another highlight were the bikes they provided - lots of bike riding to the beach, bakeries, and ice cream shops.

Our stay was all that we wanted it to be. Despite the damper that Covid put on things. We could still walk to local bakery, eat outdoors at the oyster house, and relax at the beach with the many accessories this rental supplied us with (they even bought beach toys for our 3 yr old). We knew we had hit the lotto when they knocked on our door with ice cream and brownies one night! Truly glad we chose this place. Thank you for having us!

Mike and Dave are the ultimate hosts. They welcomed us to an immaculate home full of fresh flowers and wine and information about every local restaurant, attraction and beach. While all of that was a beautiful touch, it was their attention to sanitation and Covid protection which really impressed us during this time. We appreciate tremendously their concern for virus free protection. There were hand sanitizers, wipes and sprays in every room. Anything we needed was made available to us from towels to coffee. We loved the charm of the old home which tells a story from another century. It is decorated to perfection and is conveniently located to everything. Mike and Dave even delivered homemade brownies and fresh ice cream on our last evening. They are a wealth of knowledge about Cape Cod and are willing to help with anything needed. Mike and Dave are truly nice and caring people. This home is a treasure made for making memories! You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I, our two young children (2 & 4) and my parents rented this property for a week-long stay this August. The house was meticulously cleaned and had perfect and comfortable sleeping arrangements for the 6 of us. The extra touches from Mike and Dave are what really made it special though. We were greeted with white wine, flowers and beach toys for the kids. Mike even brought over birthday balloons a gift for my daughter on her 4th birthday! Highly recommend this property--you won't be disappointed.

Mike was such a great host. He made sure we we're comfortable with our stay amid the pandemic. He took great care to make sure everything was just right. This was a last minute trip with our adult children and we are so glad we decided to stay at Mike's property.
PS...how did you know we love Sunday School ice cream!

We just returned back from our stay at Mike and Dave's Captains Quarters. Just based on the description online I was a little nervous with the size of the unit traveling with a group of 9, which included 5 kids, especially on a rainy day. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised with the layout and at no point did we feel tight on our stay. Most of the kids took over the huge room upstairs with plenty of room to spare.

To say that Mike provides you with all the information you need ahead of your stay is a gross understatement. Not sure what Mike's background is but he sure does go out of his way to make sure that he answers all your questions almost immediately and was nice enough to get us pamphlets on all the surrounding towns and point out where to go and when.

Not something that is usually mentioned but for 2020 Mike certainly makes sure that the place is sanitized before your stay and provides you with any necessary wipes, gels, sprays or masks, nothing like you would get elsewhere. If you are looking for a spot that is close to a beach, close to main street, and have the owner close and willing to share his knowledge of the Cape and answer any and all questions you have, this is the place to stay! Oh and AC of course, a HUGE plus when returning from the beach.

A charming 1801 cottage with nautical decor that would make any vacationer feel at home. He left us not one, but two bottles of wine we thoroughly enjoyed. Mike is an amazing host! His insider knowledge of local restaurants provided experiences not soon to be forgotten. Excellent lawn games! Great high speed WiFi! Great cell service even in a tropical storm.

With the craziness of COVID-19 interrupting so many summer vacations, our family needed someplace to go that was not on a quarantine list and offered everything we were looking for. A house large enough to accommodate at least six. Close to beaches. A full kitchen since we do a lot of cooking. Doable day trips with fun shopping.

This home was all that and more. Mike was like a personal cruise director. Whatever request we had, he went above and beyond to get what us we needed. Whether it was dinner reservations, directions, boogie boards, surprise desserts, and even insisting he fix a flat tire on one of our bikes, there was literally nothing he couldn't or wouldn't do to make sure our vacation was perfect. Our 4 teenage girls loved the outdoor shower, the extra bicycles and large bedrooms.

We loved the decor, the big comfy beds, the fresh flowers and the high-quality brand new towels and linens that we received upon our arrival. Our day trip to Provincetown was awesome. Shopping was lots of fun and the dolphin fleet whale watch was breathtaking. So many sightings and a sunset that still takes our breath away. We have traveled to many places with our girls and they all said they can't wait to get back to the Cape!

Mike and David were amazing. The house was great and extremely clean upon arrival. Mike and David were extremely friendly and were always there if we needed anything. They even brought over brownies and ice cream one night which was awesome. They also informed us of all the fun things to do it Dennis as well as the best restaurants. I would 100 % percent recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back.

We had been locked down in our home for 4 months when we decided we needed a change of scenery. We have 3 boys under 5 who while well behaved were over due a beach get a way! We had never been to the cape. I randomly found this house online and called Mike to see if he had availability. He was So incredibly nice and helpful. He was so transparent about the rental rules, honest about Covid procedures and help guide us on cape cod activities with kids.

When we arrived at the house it was perfect, just as described on the listing. It was cute, super clean and welcoming. Mike and Dave put a welcome kit together and also left a very sweet welcome gift. They did not miss a detail. They knew we had young boys and they even left them beach ball which the boys loved.

One day we notice the bathroom toilet was running and thought we better let them know as that waste water - they sent someone straight away to have a look and make sure there was no real issue with the toilet.

The rooms were spacious- we were 6 (including our nanny) and we all had ample room.

The kitchen was fully stocked up and very comfortable.

The location was central- we road our bikes a lot to get around vs driving.

All and all I'd highly recommend this house for your next cape rental!

We spent the week of Thanksgiving here and had a lovely time and Thanksgiving. The house was spotless and very comfortable. The owners are wonderful and very attentive that all was okay with our get together and stay. They even decorated the house, left wine and wonderful chocolate cookies that we really enjoyed! We found the kitchen to have everything we needed. Location was great for access to beach for a walk after dinner and in the mornings. We will definitely be back!!

We came to celebrate our grandson's 6th birthday. We found a spotless home with all of the amenities of home. The kids enjoyed some vintage games and a quick walk to the beach. The adults enjoyed the wine and lovely flowers left by the owners.

The owner also dropped off an espresso machine when he learned we had a coffee lover in the group. He also hooked us up with Sundae School ice cream for the birthday boy. He fixed the boys toys. He is a really sweet man who did so many kindnesses to be sure that we all had a great visit. It was relaxing and just what we all needed. We look forward to another visit.

Captains Quarters was the perfect getaway for my wife and I on our honeymoon. The location is AMAZING with beaches in every direction. There were plenty of restaurants, with great ones within walking distance (Ocean House was a great recommendation from Mike and Dave). The bakeries in town are insane, definitely can"t miss getting a treat from those.

The property was great. Easy parking, easy to find, and spotless. Dave and Mike went above and beyond with tons of surprises throughout our stay (sorry, I can't spoil anything in the review).

The house is set up well and was a very functional space for us. It was easy to cook with the full kitchen, and little touches like the Amazon Echo for music and the Nest for temperature control made things even better. Oh! And there was even a full length mirror upstairs, which my wife was beyond ecstatic about LOL

Highly recommend captains quarters, and we will definitely be returning soon!

This was our first family trip to Cape Cod and we could not have picked a better place to stay! Our home was quaint, yet spacious, cozy and very clean. Mike and Dave were the most gracious hosts. They were knowledgeable, thoughtful, and went above and beyond their role as renters. When we walked in, there was a gift for the kids and champagne for the adults. The house had everything we needed. From linens to coolers to beach towels and chairs. They were always there to help, to ask if there was anything that we needed, or just to let us know about the local restaurants and fun family activities.

Now this is the important part. During our stay, a tornado hit the area with a majority of the mid-cape losing power. Mike and Dave were on top of it! They did everything they could to maintain our comfortable stay and even set up a surprise sunset cruise for the family with Provincetown Boat Charters which was an absolute amazing experience in itself!

We loved our experience and plan to visit again next year!

Myself and 8 girlfriends of 30+ years came together from all over the world (NY, PA, NC, GA & London, England) to stay at Captain's Quarters for a girls getaway. We were welcomed with the warmest of greetings by Mike. The house is clean, bright & inviting. The custom personalized touches made it even more inviting. Truly anything we needed was provided in the house - beach towels, shower towels, linens, hair dryer, full kitchen, coolers - you name it, it was there! And if it wasn't, Mike & Dave would do anything to be sure you had it!

The house is only a short walk (or drive!) to the beach. I highly recommend walking downtown to the shops and especially Buckies Bakery. You can see the Oyster Co from the house patio & they offer a nice dining atmosphere & menu. I highly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed!!! The "extras" Mike & Dave do to make you feel at home are positively unique & much appreciated!!! We are already planning our 2020 trip!

We had an amazing stay in this house over Labor Day weekend. It was a last minute booking for us, we were lucky that the place was available. Mike was very responsive and got all paperwork done very quickly. When we arrived very late in the evening we were greeted by Mike and by a bottle of wine and some toys for kids, which was a nice touch. The house has everything you need, linens, towels, stocked kitchen. Loved having AC on, as it was very hot outside. On our departure date, kids got treated to fresh brownies and ice cream, delivered by Mike. They will never forget it, this kind of special treatment. Thanks again, Mike, for making our short stay so memorable!

My guests and I were welcomed into Mike's and Dave's vacation rental home as if it was our own. The home was exceptional in that it offered everything you would need including a 4K TV. The kitchen was well stocked with great pots, pans, utensils, plates, glasses and silverware. The refrigerator was my favorite because it was large, clean and included two complimentary bottles of bubbly, which was a very nice surprise after a four hour drive.

Who offers fresh flowers in the kitchen, living room and bedroom? They do. The living room was very comfy. My master bedroom had enough drawer space for the week and more. Also, the closet was more than adequate.

My guests stayed in the other bedroom downstairs and the single bedroom upstairs. We all agreed that the beds were comfortable, which was also great. All the amenities for the home were offered for each room, which included throws for the couches, extra towels for the bathrooms, dishwashing liquid and sponges for the kitchen. Everything i expected and more was given.

The outdoor patio was a great place to sit and watch the sunset. Coolers and beach chairs were offered so your beach experience would be memorable. If you forgot anything there were no worries as it was provided. Loved being there. My only regret was that the week was too short. Thank you for making my first stay on the Cape an exceptional one.

This was our first visit to Cape Cod. The location was excellent. Dennis Port is an adorable quiet walkable little town. We enjoyed local restaurants and beaches, as well as the convenience of day trips to Hyannis, Nantucket, Truro, Chatham. The Captain’s Quarters felt comfy and cozy from the moment we arrived. Plenty of space for all 4 of us, with extra room to boot. Absolutely everything we needed was on site. Mike and Dave were the consummate hosts. Kind, thoughtful, fun, friendly. We all loved our stay and agreed we’ll be back!

This quaint Cape Cod home is close to restaurants and beaches. Bicycles available for vacationers to use. Beaches are within walking, biking and driving distance; some with amenities (showers, bathrooms and snack shack). Within an hour of P Town and Woods Hole (Martha's Vineyard Ferry). Many local activities and shopping near by (boat rentals, Chatham).

The home is equipped with central air, full kitchen supplies with Keurig coffee maker, blender, toaster, stove & microwave. Plus an outside grill. Outside tables and chairs to be able to enjoy a cup of coffee and breakfast or an evening dinner. Lounge chairs available for days when you just want to stay at the house and relax. Outside shower, plus 1 full bath and a 1/2 bath. 4 bedrooms. Comfortable sleeping arrangements.
