We had a wonderful time at this home. We loved sitting on the screened porch for morning coffee and wine at night ! The house is well stocked and very clean. The home is set up nicely with plenty of room that allows privacy also. The beach is a short walk or a quick drive to West Dennis beach. We thought the house was a good location with easy access to Ring Bros market, Swan River Fish mkt, and other great spots. We went to the Bay side to several great restaurants such as Fin, Marshside, and Sesuit Harbor . Theowner is very help ful and responsive to any issues that come up I would rent this house again show more show less

The house is perfect for a vacation on Cape Cod. It is close to the beach, shopping, and biking.

Great house, close to beach

My family and I loved this house, it was clean and well equipped. The beach is a short walk straight down the road. It doesn't include sheets or towels which was the only negative.

We spent a week here and would definitely return! The location is perfect!

The home was equipped with everything a family would need! Walked daily to the beach with young children! The fenced in back yard and the patio area was great for all the time we spent outdoors! Truly a hidden gem!

Great vacation house!

We were in the house for about a minute when we knew we had made a great choice. The house was accurately presented online, there were no surprises. We really appreciated this. The house has plenty of room and with three kids 3 and under we needed it. With the kids,dining out would be limited. We took advantage of the kitchen (which had everything we needed), the grill, the dining area inside and the backyard. The backyard was a huge plus. It was spacious and totally enclosed. After a busy day the living room was good place to relax. It was roomy and very comfortable. The master bedroom upstairs was, in a single word, fantastic. We both drove to West Dennis beach and walked to the beach at the end of the street. Even with the kids it was very walkable. Some of our favorite places (Chapin's, The Sundae School, and The Dog House) were a very short drive down Lower County Rd. I would absolutely recommend this house to family and friends. If we vacation on the Cape next summer, I will rent this house again! Also, I would like to say the rental process was a snap. They made it really easy to rent the house. show more show less

Home away from home!

I've stayed at homeaway.com residences a couple dozen times, and this was among the very best. Booking through Steve on this site was great, he answered every question, checked up on us through email, and even offered to mail us some clothes which we forgot at the house!

The house is exactly as described. It was immaculately clean and the living areas are very spacious. We were 6 adults and 1 child (my parents, my wife, and my sister's family), and we had plenty of room in the kitchen and dining table area, as well as in the very large living room with large flat screen TV. The backyard was beautifully landscaped and has a very nice patio with table and chairs for 8 where we ate most of our meals outdoors in the sun. There are also outdoor chairs to sunbathe. There are lots of beds to choose from, with different degrees of firmness, so everyone should find something they are comfortable with. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. For instance, there was a huge assortment of pots/pans and excellent quality knives and other utensils for cooking. The island in the kitchen was a great place to chat while cooking or laying out food buffet style.

The neighborhood is extremely quiet and it was a very short and safe walk to the beach down the street. The beach was not very crowded (Memorial Day weekend) and is sandy, great for sunbathing and for kids to have fun with lots of shells and creatures washed up on shore. Also, it is mid-Cape, so it wasn't a long drive to various other locations on the Cape.

In a word, there is literally nothing to complain about this place. This was a perfect homeaway.com experience and we all agreed we'd come back to this home again with enthusiasm. Thanks for a wonderful experience! show more show less

Perfect location!

My fiancé and I just came back from a long weekend at this house. What a gem! They have a 7 night minimum from June until August, but were flexible with us since it was off-season. This was our first time using homeaway.com and I was nervous because this house didn't yet have any reviews. I wanted to change that with this review because we had such a wonderful time and it is such a great house! I loved cooking in the nice open kitchen, and my fiancé loved being able to walk to the beach in the evening for some night fishing. We had a little rain on Sunday, but there was no shortage of things to do - a couple miles away is a movie theater so we grabbed a matinee. The house was really close to everything actually - mini golf, the grocery store, kayaking, and tons of great restaurants. Everything is literally minutes away. We also grabbed a sundae at Sundae School just up the road on Friday night after reading the owners book of recommendations for the area. It was incredible! We went back on Saturday night too! My fiancé and I are making a call tomorrow to try and reserve a week this summer to go down again with some friends! Love this house! show more show less
