We had a fantastic time at Sandcastle by the Sea! The house had everything you could possibly want or need and John was readily available to answer any questions. My grandkids loved the bunk room! An absolutely perfect location with the beach literally at the front door. We would absolutely stay here again.

Our late September stay at this property was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything about this rental exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail and the thoughtful gestures made our experience truly unforgettable. First and foremost, the communication with the host was exceptional. They were prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly, making us feel valued and well taken care of even before our arrival. Upon entering the property, we were blown away by its immaculate cleanliness. It was evident that the hosts put a great deal of effort into maintaining a pristine environment. The attention to cleanliness and hygiene provided us with peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our stay. Furthermore, the thoughtful touches and amenities provided by the host truly made us feel welcome. They even provide wine and cigars for us to enjoy! We felt like every detail had been carefully considered. It's these small gestures that go above and beyond that truly set this rental apart from others. The house itself was beautifully appointed, with a comfortable and stylish interior. The furnishings were of high quality, and the decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere. And the location on the private beach…there is no place better! The sunsets were amazing. We plan to return over and over again!

Absolutely wonderful spot! This property does not disappoint. Everything you read and hear about it, is absolutely accurate. The home is bright, modern, and the owner, John, has thought of, and provided, every amenity you could think of, both inside the home and outside the home. This home is very well equipped to meet your every need. He greets you with enthusiasm and it is contagious. He is extremely responsive to any questions and responds promptly. The views and the beach are spectacular. The outdoor showers are amazing. We can't wait to return next summer! Thank you John!

My husband and three daughters arrived at Sandcastle by the Sea and were immediately greeted by John. He couldn't do enough to help us settle in. The house was immaculate and was absolutely beautiful. There wasn't a single detail spared… anything we could have possibly needed was taken care of! The views of the ocean and sunsets were absolutely spectacular. Our family had the best vacation ever and can't wait to comw back for years to come. Highly recommend!!!!

After reading alot of the previous reviews i'm not sure I could add anything that hasn't been said already. The location, the parking, the amenities, the views, the beach....all top notch.
No detail is overlooked on this property, from the private outdoor showers, to the freezer full of frozen treats in the basement for the kids to enjoy.
If you're interested in renting in the Dennis area, do not overlook Sandcaste by the Sea. You will not be dissapointed. My kids and I already talking about coming back next summer!

Location, location location if you want to be on the beach there is no better house. I did not use my vehicle for 7 days. We walked to dinner at Chapin's.

The house had a good kitchen, AC /huge, outdoor shower and a new grill. Very strong Internet connection, which allow my wife to work from the house. The place seems to be renovated recently, was very clean and new.


The owner was very easy to deal with, we are booking next year.

The Sandcastle by the Sea is a beautiful home in a little piece of heaven. We stayed in the upper apartment. The house was impeccably clean and well stocked with cooking tools and drink accessories. It has a separate bar area fit with a beverage refrigerator and ice machine. A very important feature to me is always the pressure and temperature of the water. Both were excellent both inside and out. The house sits on sand and only a few steps to the beautiful private Mayflower Beach. The shed was full of chairs, umbrellas and beach toys all looking like new. You can cook outdoors on the grill or just enjoy the amazing view. Don't forget to catch the sun set. Just stunning.

We had a great week. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. Great views and amazing sunsets. Fun beach activities. It was truly a special week for our family. Played a lot of volleyball. Cocktails on the deck watching the sunset is fantastic!

The first floor unit was very comfortable from start to end of our vacation. It had everything we could ever ask for, especially the beach gear and outdoor shower. We definitely took advantage of the grill a few times. It was absolutely amazing to be able to head to the beach with our 2.5 year old who loved playing in the sand and calm, warm waters.

We arrived on a gorgeous sunny Thursday. The weather was perfect for our sisters beach weekend mothers day retreat. Sandcastles by the Sea Unit one did not disappoint. Walked into a beautifully decorated clean beach house. The view was breath taking! We sunned at the beach during the day and dined at one of the many delicious restaurants a stones throw away from the beach house in the evenings.
We had the best mothers day retreat ever! The only bad thing about our time was leaving! Can't wait to plan our next sisters getaway!

The home was beautiful with all the amenities you could need! On looking the beach that you can walk out to, which we utilized while we were there with beautiful weather! The owner is great and always there to reach out to to ask any questions you may have.

From the first time I spoke with John; the Owner of Sandcastle by the Sea I knew it was going to be an amazing trip! Speaking with John is like chatting with an old friend!

The location can not be beat….stunning! Breath taking views! Gorgeous beach! Outstanding sunsets!!

The home is very clean and decorated very tastefully! Our kids loved their room…they stayed in the bunk bed room! Everything you need is in the home! Whether it be towels, pots & pans, coffee, q-tips, sand pails, football, kettle bells….it is all here! You can tell John has put a-lot of thought, care, and love into this home and it is much appreciated!

We can not wait to stay at Sandcastle by the Sea again!

We had the best week with our two young children. The house has everything you could possibly need and is beautifully decorated and clean. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfy. Can't beat the outdoor showers! The owner is extremely nice and helpful with quick responses. Nothing better than watching wind surfers out your living room window or walking down the steps to the soft sand of the bay and playing in the tidal pools. Sunsets are spectacular! Having access to beach chairs and toys saved us plenty of room in the car and made for an easy travel. Can't wait to return!

From communication with John, the owner, to the newly renovated unit (#1) and to the proximity to Mayflower Beach.....hands down #1 on the cape. John is quick to respond and is eager to ensure his guests are fully equipped and satisfied with his cape home. I'm so happy to know I do not have to look any further to find a home suitable to my liking....thank you!

Dream stay at Sandcastle by the Sea. Magnificent private beach property next to Mayflower beach. Amazing sunsets and convenient to local shopping & our favorite restaurants & cape playhouse. Everything included for us to enjoy our private stay (beach chairs, games, supplies). Beautifully renovated home with all modern conveniences.

Manchester by the Sea was the best rental we've experienced in over 20 years. Breathtaking views of the beach and the owners Missy & John covered every detail and made our stay one for the record books. We will certainly be renting this place every summer on a go forward basis.

This place hold many memories for our family as we rented it about 30 years ago. The new owners did a spectacular job renovating it! The views are gorgeous and access to private beach you just can reach out! The additional outside showers are beautiful. If you want to make wonderful memories with your family I highly recommend this place.

Sandcastle by the Sea was a spectacular experience. The cottage has been converted into a luxurious beach rental. The rental boasts high standards of comfort. We were spoiled by the private white sandy beach being steps from the unit. They offer multiple amenities and equipment to make your stay even more pleasurable. The outside living space was a favorite spot, with being able to admire the view of the ocean and sunset from the cozy space. The recreational area allowed the kids and adults to play and unwind after a long day at the beach. We look forward to many more vacations at Sandcastle by the Sea!

I have been coming to the cape for vacations for over 30 years and Sandcastle By The Sea is the best place I have ever stayed. The home is located on the best spot of Mayflower Beach with the most amazing sunsets in the cape. The views off the back decks are breathtaking. I could enjoy every meal of the day sitting on the deck. The deck furniture is beautiful and very comfortable.

The inside of the house is immaculate and equipped with anything you would ever need. The mattresses on all the beds were extremely comfortable as well. The outdoor showers were huge! The brand new shed is equipped with anything you could possibly think of for the beach as well. This home has every single thing you could possibly need. Bring your bathing suit and a toothbrush and you're all set!

The host was amazing and checked in with us to see if we needed anything. I will definitely be booking this home every year now! Perfect Vacation!

This house is nothing short of perfection. Great host, great house, great location. Been renting near Mayflower beach for 30+ years and this place tops them all.

We stayed as a family of three for 4th of July and it has been one of the most relaxing, comforting vacations we have had in a while. The house is just a dream steps away from the beach. Inside everything one may need away from home. Outside too many options to choose from in terms of seating or dining or just admiring the ocean. The Ocean is amazing. The shed stocked like its Amazon with all things beach and water! My 4.5 year old may not want to leave and my husband and I cannt stop bragging about this gem! We will return and bring friends!

We couldn't have dreamed of a more impressive beach house ! It was nothing short of AMAZING!!!
Everything was top notch & brand new, and we were literally On The Beach!!!! We left with incredible family memories that will not be forgotten!!! It was a 10 !!!

This incredible unit is nothing short of everything one could want in a vacation rental. Pristine in every sense of the word. The bedrooms, kitchen, and living quarters are comfy so relaxing you don't want to leave the living quarters. But leave you will because you are literally steps away from the best beach on the Cape bar none. No need to pack your car until you are ready to leave for home. Which I might add you'll already begin thinking about booking for next year.

This place is ideal for families and offers spectacular sunrise and sunset views. Ocean view, ample parking, eateries and shopping close at hand. Did I mention the outside showers with brass fixtures? II couldn't get my spellbound kids out of there . Safe locale and the best vacation my family ever spent on the Cape. Wow! Double wow!! We cannot wait for next year.

The view and access to the beach are worth every penny. Go! You won't be sorry.

We had the pleasure of staying in Sandcastle by the Sea in early June 2022, and we completely enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 5 were perfectly accommodated in the top floor unit, which was so clean and well laid out when we arrived. Everything you could need was there, and the owner John was just so friendly and available to make sure we were happy for the week.

The kids spent the week on the beach, playing in the water and looking for crabs.
Dennis has everything you can need, and is a great base to explore the Cape.

We could not have been more impressed, and can't wait to come back next year.

Our stay in this home was beyond our expectations. We stayed for 2 days and wished we stayed longer. The house has everything you need it's well equipped with literally everything. Our kids and family had a awesome time we will definitely come back. The house has an beautiful view directly to beach and at night you can't miss looking up the stars ! From the first minute I spoke to John (the owner of the property) I knew we were in impeccable hands. His outstanding customer service and prompt responses to any of our questions were answered in great detail and he truly made this whole process seamless. One of the most thoughtful and charismatic people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Trust me when I say your vacation at Sandcastle by the Sea will not disappoint!

We had the pleasure of staying in the first floor unit and could not have been more happy with our accommodations. There was no attention to detail spared. The master bedroom was beautiful. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get out of in the morning (except for the fact that we were 10 feet from the beautiful private beach). The 2 sets of bunk beds in the other bedroom were beautifully setup and the kids were thrilled with them! The deck on the front entrance has a beautiful table and chairs setup with a Weber grill for cooking out and has ample shade to enjoy family dinners. Our absolute favorite part was the back deck with beautiful furniture and lights and flowers overlooking the pristine private white sandy beach. Perfect for relaxing after a long day at the beach. The other mind blowing part of this house is the outdoor shower. It looks like something out of Home and Gardens magazine! From the fixtures to the beautiful blue slate stone to stand on, it is absolutely stunning.

Everything we could have ever needed for a wonderful family vacation was provided at Sandcastle by the Sea. From the lobster pots to the beach chairs. You'll just need to bring your family and a smile because this place has everything! We cannot wait to come back here next year and enjoy it all over again!

This beach house was amazing, beach beach and more beach, the location is just amazing. The kids walked out the door and could play in the beach.

The house was great. Both units have their own out door shower and they are new. The insides have been all remodeled. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were great. Sunsets were so cool, because the house faces west.
