Come and enjoy our three bedroom, one and a half bath ranch home with central AC, sunroom, private backyard with stone patio. After a day at the beach you will love the outdoor shower with dressing room that is connected to the patio. Our guests love to BBQ on the patio while playing yard games like Cornhole or Outdoor Jenga. Then enjoy a relaxing evening around the fire pit. Just a short walk to a private recreation beach area at Follins Pond, which is a salt pond at the top of Bass River. The town landing on Follins pond is only a half-mile from the house where you could launch your boat or kayak and enjoy free parking. You can cruise out of Follins Pond, down Bass River to enjoy the day at boaters beach or access open ocean on the South side near West Dennis Beach. Maps are provided in the info booklet at the house. Just a short drive to Mayflower, Chapin Memorial, Corporation Beaches. The central location is great for visiting the many wonderful beaches of Nantucket Sound as well as the breathtaking Bayside beaches.
The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 and 1/2 Baths, and 1204 square feet of living area, Wireless Broadband Internet, and central air conditioning system.
Kitchen has been updated with new cabinets, granite countertops, electric range, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, freezer, drip coffee maker, French press, toaster, toaster oven, blender, pots/pans for cooking or baking, salad spinner, eating utensils, and glassware.
Dining area is part of the open concept kitchen featuring booth seating.
Living room has two new couches, a chair, and a 50'' Roku smart TV. Storage dresser with games, playing cards, and puzzles. Closet has vacuum cleaner, cleaning supplies, broom, Swifter wet mop and dusters.
Bedroom 1 has a king size bed with linens included and a 32'' Roku smart TV. The ironing board with iron can be found in the bedroom closet.
Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed with linens included and a 32'' Roku smart TV.
Bedroom 3 has two twin beds with linens included and a 32'' Roku smart TV.
Sunroom has a twin bed with linens included, half bath, desk/work area, 43'' Roku smart TV, slider access to the rear patio.
Bathroom has a shower/bathtub, stackable laundry and bath towel sets for each registered guest located in hall linen closet where you will also find beach towels. The half bath has a toilet and sink.
Patio / Backyard has a patio set, table and chairs, gas grill, and outdoor shower with changing room and firepit. There is also a storage area with four backpack style beach chairs, beach umbrella, cornhole set, and spare propane tank.
Location:
Located in the quiet and friendly neighborhood of Follins Pond with private beach access 4/10 of a mile down the road. Follins Pond is a salt pond that is connected to Bass River and Bass River has access to open ocean on Nantucket Sound. Just 5 minutes to the Cape Cod Rail Trail parking lot. Mayfair Boat Yard is just 8/10 of a mile down the road. You can launch a larger boat from there into Bass River.
Beaches:
Centrally located with Mayflower, Chapin Memorial, and Corporation beaches, all within a short drive. Nantucket Sound beaches are around 5 miles south including West Dennis Beach, South Village Beach, and Glendon Road Beach.
Enjoy convenient shopping at Patriot Square Plaza which is only 2.3 miles away. you'll find a Stop & Shop, Marshalls, CVS, Dollar Tree, Dunkin Donuts, and many more stores and restaurants in the area.
Take a ride along scenic 6A (Old Kings Highway) and you'll find many restaurants and quaint shops including Scargo Cafe, Captain Frosty's, and Pecorino Romano to name a few.
Our family has been coming to Dennis for over 30 years. We love all that this town has to offer and have tried to include all the amenities that we enjoy on our own vacation.
