We have been renting on the cape for 20 plus years and this is one of our favorite homes. We stayed for a long weekend and from the moment we pulled in the experience was perfect. You can't beat the location with a short walk to Mayflower beach, walk to Gina's and Chapins and also a short drive to all the great spots in Dennis. The house was lovely, with beautiful furnishings, updated bathrooms, wonderful natural light, great deck and large yard. It was a perfect Cape Cod retreat. The owners were very thoughtful and made themselves available for any questions. We are already thinking when we can go back! show more show less

We enjoyed our time by the ocean tremendously in this beautiful impeccably furnished home. The owners pay so much attention to detail and are quick to respond with any questions or issues. We love that there is such a close proximity to the beach and restaurants, but still so peaceful. We hope to be back again!

We have been visiting the cape every summer for years and each time we say we like the house we rent and we should look into re-renting it next year but end up never doing so. This year before we left Bayside Bungalow we signed a lease for next summer - that is how much we thought this was the perfect rental. From the first inquiry to after leaving and discussing next summer, the owner is very responsive in communications. The process was so simple and straightforward. Due to the owner renovating the property prior to the summer he even sent updates with plenty of pictures showing the progress of the work. As our stay approached the owner sent reminder emails and even provided helpful options for linen rentals.
Upon our arrival we thought "wow this is the perfect location". It is literally 2 houses down from Chapins Bayside and a handful of houses from Ginas. The property very large and we kept on thinking how you could easily fit two houses on the one lot so there is plenty of space and you never felt crowded. And the driveway was nice and big and plenty of room. Inside, you walk into a beautifully decorated house. The central A/C worked perfectly and the house was always nice and cool. The kitchen had a large fridge/freezer (with ice maker), everything you needed to cook, dishwasher so no hand washing dishes while on vacation and most importantly a Keurig for the morning coffee. The living room had a sectional which the four of us could comfortably sit and watch a little tv during the one rainy morning we had. Of note - the only TV in the house is in the living room. We enjoyed the disconnect from screens but for those looking for TVs in bedrooms, there are none. The bedrooms were all good size and mattresses very comfortable. As mentioned in another review, while there are window shades, there is a lot of natural light in the mornings but my kids had no problem sleeping through it after long days on the beach. The deck was very large with a great large dining table as well as a very comfortable seating area with chairs/couch. A must have for every cape house - the outdoor shower was perfect. As an added bonus, there is a shed to store your sand toys and we put our bikes in there overnight. The owner also provides very nice beach chairs which was an unexpected bonus although we just used the ones we brought.
To get to the beach it was a 3minute walk down the street one way to get to public access or 5min the other way and a side street to get to Mayflower - the absolutely perfect location. The owner checked in several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was super clean and updated.
As I started the review - it was such a perfect fit that we signed a lease for next season before we left. We look forward at making this our yearly rental on the cape for years to come.

Just spent an amazing week at Bayside Bungalow. This house has it all! Not only is it beautifully decorated, but also has every comfort imaginable. We especially were glad to have central air during what was a very hot week. My husband & I enjoyed spending our before & after beach time relaxing on the large deck. The beach, which goes on forever, was just a short walk away. The owners checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness. Our beach vacation at this perfectly renovated and clean home was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped in, the carefully curated decor perfectly suited our family's taste, making us feel right at home. The attention to detail was exceptional, and it truly felt like a cozy home away from home. The house was thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities we needed, loved the storage tower in the kitchen, baskets and hangers in the bedrooms, kept everything neat and organized. The beds were comfortable, the yard was large along with the deck and we had so much fun playing games and hanging out.

We loved the short walk to the private beach, which was perfect for our 3 year old, and the public side of Mayflower had many tide pools and warm waters to explore and enjoy. Yarmouth and Hyannis are very close and we visited many times.

Lastly, we cannot praise the owners enough for their kindness and responsiveness. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcome and well-cared for throughout our stay. show more show less

This was a perfect vacation home for a multigenerational family trip. Excellent location to beach. All amenities were included in the house that you could want and need. Loved the space, especially the deck for evenings relaxing and for eating meals. Already booked the home for next year! Enjoyed every moment!

Newly renovated and beautifully designed home that's a very short walk to the beach and restaurants, too. The house was so nice inside and out, with all the thoughtful finishing touches and the expansive yard and deck. Our family of five had a fantastic stay. We'll surely be returning - we're so lucky to have found this gem!

We had a perfect stay in this newly renovated beach house. There are so many pluses: the short walk to a sandy beach, the deck for morning coffee, the outdoor shower (we used daily), the well appointed kitchen, the charming decor, and the cool ocean breeze all night. The family is next door but leave you completely alone unless you need something. Super responsive and sweet. You will not regret this booking. Don't wait, just go!

We were the first renters of this property and my first time in writing a negative review for a rental home. I'm hopeful that proper repairs have been made since our stay.
Within 15 minutes upon our arrival we were welcomed with major plumbing issues. Toilets overflowing and showers were getting backed up. They had plumber there the next morning for repair. Paint was causing backup to occur. These issues could have been prevented if someone would have checked everything prior to our arrival. A few days before arrival they let me know linens were not included in our stay. Rental agreement did not have this important information posted. We rent homes all over the world and this was a first for us. Homeowners wanted me to rent linens and when I questioned this we agreed to split the cost. They ended up purchasing the linens and it was to our understanding these would be rented. We should not have been paying for the linens that were left to stay in this rental. The new towels had been placed in linen closet unwashed!! We honestly thought after the inconveniences of our first night they would give us some sort of credit for our stay, but they did not do the right thing and they still made us pay for linens and beach towels that were not used.
Unless you like waking when the sun comes up the bedrooms have sheer window coverings and all rooms are very bright by 5 am.
I will end this review with one positive comment. The beaches are lovely and within walking distance with Gina's restaurant down the street. show more show less
