This place is unbelievable! 20 steps to the beach! The house was amazing- top of the line everything. The bed was unbelievably comfortable- the kitchen is awesome! My favorite is the outdoor shower! John is great to deal with and does everything to make your stay perfect. I loved having the house so close to the beach, it's so convenient to come back for lunch. There are chairs and a cabana available. That's was so nice to have. The beach is so clean and what an unbelievable sunset. I can't recommend this place enough! For a family who loves Mayflower and Bayview beach as much as we do, this house and location is perfect! The house is completely updated and impeccably decorated with a great outdoor shower and patio. It is the perfect size for a family of 4 or 5. We will be renting again for sure! :)

This totally remodeled unit was nothing short of spectacular. Quaint yet roomy. It features a modern kitchen and bath, charming living room with spacious bedrooms . This pristine charm-filled air conditioned unit was perfect for our family. Proximity to the beach was five minutes away. No packing or unpacking of your car. Grab the chairs and umbrella and go to the beach.The outside patio was perfect for outdoor eating and relaxation. Sunrises and sunsets were awesome. Umbrellas and beach chairs were provided as well as an outdoor shower. This home away from home will shock and awe you as it did to us. We recently stayed at Sandcastle by the Sea Bayview and had the most wonderful and relaxing trip. You literally couldn't have asked for a more perfect location to spend time with friends and family on one of Cape Cod's most beautiful beaches. The sunset is absolutely breathtaking. Bayview Beach sunsets display the prettiest, most colorful backdrop along with a natural sunset glow, making for some of the most beautiful family photos. Watching the sun disappear at the horizon and hearing families cheer with excitement at the natural beauty of it all, is really everything.

As soon as you walk out the door, you are immediately on the short path leading to the beach. Whether you're an early beach goer, prefer to sleep in, or a mixture of both like our family is, there is zero stress when it comes to finding a great spot on the sand to set up. The beach was never too crowded, even at high tide. Once the tide goes out, there is even more room to spread out, play beach games or take a nice walk. Some days we would pack snacks/lunch and other days we just hit the beach and took advantage of the short walk back to the rental for lunch or to use the rest room any time we needed to. The foot wash directly outside of the front door is perfect for all the back and forth from the beach and really helped keep the sand inside to a minimum. There is also a gorgeous outdoor shower around back to rinse off in or even to just take a nice hot shower at night under the stars.

The unit has 6 beach chairs (the more elevated type) so that is another thing you can leave at home unless you have a favorite chair you would like to bring. There are a few beach towels as well but you may want to bring a couple of extra. There is a stackable washer and dryer in the unit, fully equipped with detergent and fabric softener. This allowed us to pack lightly, as we could wash and dry our clothes throughout the week. Coming home with very minimal laundry to do after our trip was also a huge bonus!

John's close attention to every detail is truly unmatched. He meticulously stocked the unit with everything needed to feel like a home away from home. Everything is brand new and gorgeously decorated. We absolutely loved all the brushed gold detail throughout the unit and the beautiful beaded light fixture above the kitchen table. The beach theme was executed so tastefully and very chic. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable making for restful nights. The kitchen made cooking effortless and came with everything needed to prepare amazing summer meals for my family. Some nights we ate inside and others we were outside on the patio table enjoying the gorgeous weather we had.

There is so much to do around this area and John is super helpful with recommendations for whatever it is you are looking to do. With a gorgeous rental like this, in its prime location, you can literally make your trip however you want it. Relax on the beach with a book, watch movies on the comfy couch, drink coffee outside at the patio table on beautiful mornings listening to the seagulls and just unplugging from the daily chaos or you can pack your trip with all the fun that Cape Cod has to offer like a trip over to P Town, some deep sea fishing, Pirate Cove Mini Golf, Chatham Fish Pier, Cape Cod Inflatable Park, head to one of the awesome Cape Cod League baseball games, grab a delicious ice cream with the family or go out to eat, the options are endless.

We did a little of everything. A perfect, much needed combination of relaxation and fun. Thank you John and family for your hospitality and care that you put into helping family's create memories that will last a lifetime. We had the pleasure of staying at the Sandcastle Bayview this Summer. Although the photos are gorgeous, they STILL do not do this impeccable home justices - it is closer to  Bayview beach than the parking lot, taking all of the stress out of beach-day logistics. When we arrived, the owners, John and Missy were on-site to greet us and walk us through their home. To say they have thought of everything is an understatement. They are the most gracious and generous hosts from which we have ever had the pleasure of renting. Every little detail - from motorized skylight shades, to a feet washing station outside the front door - has been considered. This is not a cheap rental home by any standard. The quality and craftsmanship is better than our own house… directly on one of the best Cape beaches. Everything is top-notch. It truly does not get bette than this! We were scheduled to be in Falmouth for our son's evening "Twilight" Cross Country meet in October. Considering it would be a late night we were hoping to spend the evening on the Cape. So we reached out to John with the hope of staying in both of his properties which were just about at the beginning stages of being remodeled.

Since we provide cabinetry for John & Co. this would be the perfect way to incorporate measuring the kitchens in each unit and having a place to stay.

Well, we got lucky and our timing was just right. John agreed to put us up for the weekend! He couldn't have been more accommodating too, even on this whim! The units were clean, towels were provided, there were plenty of utensils in the kitchen, and we were able to relax even while running around, back and forth to Falmouth for the event.

Well, it's hard not to relax at this property in Dennis! It is perfectly set in the dunes, right on the beach, and so peaceful in every way, including the proximity to amenities when needed.

John kept saying to us "you gotta get up there early, get settled and enjoy the sunset before you go back to Falmouth for the race". He kept talking about the sunset at Bayview. So we took it to heart..

We got to the properties in the afternoon with plenty of time to get settled. There was more than enough room for our family of four in Unit 49 where we stayed. So we spread out and made ourselves at home. Our two boys bunked up in their room and my wife and I had our own space so that worked out great for all of us.

John recommended Dennis Public Market for sandwiches, so we went and got those before the sunset. Wow! They were hand made and delicious. The market had prepared meats and fish and everything you need for a home cooked meal so we grabbed salmon, chicken and sausage to feed the crew the next day.

Get back for the sunset, get back! And we did. Sandwiches on the beach and the most amazing sunset. Looking down the beach with awestruck people, just in that moment, it felt so great to be there. And then you guessed it..back in the car to get to Falmouth, a family on the go. I had to pull my wife off the beach and into the car. She could have stayed there all night! It was like a dream there.

Well we made it back late that night and the family got a chance to wake up on the beach, with the sun surrounding our unit and time on our side to soak it all in together.
The boys were craving smoothies so we headed to Ring Bros. Marketplace where you gotta go when you stay here if you like smoothies and açaí bowls. Get back to the beach!

After a walk on the beach, throwing the football around with my sons, we were then back to the unit for lunch on the grill! These units have a shared privacy that is unexplainable. It's very special. So enjoying our time outside on the patio was easy and so relaxing. I don't know if I'm painting a picture with words but it's in my head and I want to be there in shorts with a cocktail in hand!

I just want to say thank you to John for this special weekend. While the places were so pleasant when we stayed there they are going to be so perfect when he's done with the remodeling and recreated areas he'll make so special.

John has vision for construction, the mind for what guests need and want, and the heart of a family man which all means he cares and will help make your unique stay perfect.

We arrived Friday in the late afternoon for a long holiday girls weekend getaway. Unseasonably warm for October (to our delight) this Dennis Cape cod Cottage just 50 feet from waters edge was a perfect spot for stealing a last bit of summer fun.
Snuggled amongst a gorgeous fencing of sand dunes as we enjoyed sitting out on the deck soaking up the warm sunshine.
Inside the cottage was spacious and inviting with vaulted ceilings & sky lights.
In the day time we shopped at antique and thrift stores near by or road bikes on beautiful bike paths. In the evening we dinned at several of the wonderful restaurants in the area. What a magical summer spot!
