This quaint 2 bedroom cottage is a short walk to South Village beach and the Swan River. The changing of the tides provides natures lazy river, just need some flotation. At low tide there are sand bars to enjoy and critters to catch, if you have young children this provides hours of fun.

The cottage has two bedrooms and a bonus room on the right that can sleep 2 more. The front bedroom has a queen bed while the back bedroom has a full with twin above. There are 1.5 bathrooms, with a walk in shower in the main bathroom and stackable washer/dryer in the half bathroom. The fenced in yard with fire pit is ideal for kids and any furry friends. There is a gas grill and outdoor shower (more for rinsing off the sand and salt from the day as there is no surround). The kitchen has recently been updated and has new appliances. There are window air conditioners for each of the rooms.

The cottage is supplied with linens and towels and have ample parking in the driveway or on the left side of the house in front of the fence.

    We had a great stay for the week! The house is in a great location and had everything we needed, including AC, a fenced-in yard, and a grill. Chris was very friendly and had great communication throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were both super easy. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

    We had a wonderful week staying at Chris's cottage in West Dennis! The location couldn't have been better just a short, easy walk to the beach on a quiet road, making it peaceful while still being incredibly convenient.
    The backyard was spacious and became one of our favorite places to relax, especially around the fire pit in the evenings. Inside, the cottage was comfortable and welcoming. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. The open living space was perfect for gathering together as a family after spending the day at the beach.
    We found Chris's cottage after learning that the cottage we had rented for the past four summers was no longer available. We weren't sure we'd find a place that felt just as special, but we're so glad we did. This cottage exceeded our expectations, and we're already looking forward to staying here again next summer!     show more show less

    This is a family cottage with ownership dating back to 1954. As a 3rd generation family member I am looking to rent to other families looking to enjoy what the Cape has to offer. I spent my childhood at this cottage and it has seen its share of family events, hoping it can make some for others. I am local to area in South Yarmouth and will make sure the cottage is ready for those renting and can provide guidance on things to do and place to go.

    What is special about this property?
    Walking or biking to the beach is a real joy (and right of passage) and South Village Beach with the Swan River is a well kept secret. The river provides hours of enjoyment and its an easy hundred yard (or so) walk out to the sand bars when the tide is out. West Dennis is also easily accessible, and a great spot for long walks on the beach (even better when they stop collecting parking fees). When back at the cottage bring your smore's accessories and make some memories around the fire pit.

    What is special about your town?
    West Denis is centrally located on the Cape and near just about everything (Hyannis, plenty of beaches, the bayside of the cape is 7 miles away). There are plenty of restaurants and stores within a 5 minute drive. There are tennis courts at the high school in Yarmouth
