The house really couldn't be in a better location - walking distance to a lovely pond, easy biking to both the ocean and the bay, and easy drives down to Orleans and Chatham and up to Wellfleet and P'town. In one week we were able to take advantage of all of this and more.

The house is small, but lovely and well-maintained.

Kris was a wonderful host, providing plenty of information at the outset, as well as being flexible when weather reports indicated that Hurricane Henri might hit the cape hard (fortunately, it didn't).

It all made for a wonderful and relaxing trip. show more show less

Thank you for a wonderful three weeks! The house is perfectly located--close to both First Encounter Beach and fresh water kettle ponds, and we enjoyed both. After being confined, due to the pandemic, it was a real joy to be on the Cape!

Although close to everything, there was a good feeling of privacy while at the house. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and several barbecues in the back yard, as well as several visits of a mama turkey and her chick. The proximity to both the library and Windmill Green was a plus, as was easy access to Rte. 6, the National Seashore, and several good restaurants.

We had a great week at your house. It provided us with a good base to enjoy the wonderful outdoors, convenient to everything we love to do - bike, swim, beachcomb, enjoy the stars and beautiful sunsets and lots of good eats.
Hopefully we can return again next summer.

My husband and I were at your house for the week with our young grandson. We just loved the house and the location – near the bike path, and so private. As a former children's librarian I really enjoyed visiting the new Eastham library right in the neighborhood. We also packed a picnic lunch on Monday evening and took it down to the windmill green to listen to the band concert. Then one morning my husband took our grandson up to the windmill and they got a tour – that was a big hit. So right in this area we had three adventures! Today it's time to go, and our grandson is crying because he doesn't want to leave.

Thank you! We had a wonderful week in Eastham. Your house brought back fond memories of my grandparents' place, which had a similar interior style. Childhood experiences certainly have a way of shaping our lives. Even though I live all the way over in Sweden, returning to the Cape, where I used to go fishing with my father in Wellfleet, still has a powerful pull on me to this day.
