We've stayed all around Cooks Brook over the years and we loved this location! Walk to the bay to watch the sunset was such a treat. There were 3 adults and 2 kids in our group and we didn't feel crowded. Cottage is clean and stocked with the essentials! The new room was a real nice addition! Owners checked in and were great to work with!

My husband and I recently spent two very relaxing weeks at this immaculate home. We've visited the Cape many times over the last 30 years and this quiet, well-loved home is one of the best places we've ever stayed. It has all the key features we look for - fabulous outdoor shower, an easy walk to the beach (a public beach plus a very peaceful private association beach), excellent wifi, comfy beds and good places to sit outside; it has not one but two decks, for sun or shade. The new sunroom with TV and fireplace was an unexpected bonus, as was the lovely garden. And the owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome! We especially appreciated being in an environmentally- friendly home (with compost bin) ). We hope to return to the cape soon and when we do, this is definitely where we'll want to stay!

Most nicely appointed cottage i have stayed in at the Cape. Close enough to walk to beach which is a definate plus. Stayed in Dennisport for almost 30 years so this was a chance to explore this part of the Cape. Weather did not cooperate but we got in as much as we could. Also tried a few places recommended to us in the area. Beautiful side room that we all loved. Close to all kinds of places to try with better weather. We all had a good time and definately recommed

We've been staying in Cape Cod for years and this cottage location was kind of the best of both worlds for our family of 4, near enough to drive to outer cape more secluded beaches we love in Truro & Provincetown and central to Orleans/Eastham/Wellfleet beaches and activities kids love- Drive in theater a few minutes away, mini golf, ice cream shops, kid friendly outdoor restaurants and biking on rail trail and trails in Nickerson State Park.

The cottage would comfortably fit a family of 5. There were dressers for clothes in rooms. The living area was a decent size and had a good AC unit in living room as well as a TV with a lot of channels & dvd's.

The big clothesline as well as washer/drier & tons of beach supplies made our trip so much easier to pack for. There were 2 carts, a wagon, nice sturdy umbrellas with sand grabbers, sturdy boogie boards and an abundance of beach chair choices including Tommy Bahama backpack chairs for whole family (a must if walking to nice quiet bay beach a few minutes walk at end of road or driving to Marconi or Coast Guard beach).

There were also checkers or chess pieces you can use on the board on porch & many other kid games in a bin in basement. We only did breakfast & grilling but the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The deck had a full size dining table & umbrella and chairs for dining or relaxing which was a good addition to the kitchen space. Outdoor shower was great and had hooks and space to change as well. The sunrise and sunset view was beautiful from the association beach at the end of the road.

The homeowners keep a very neat, clean and well-equipped house just minutes from the beaches of the Cape. Clean and comfortable cottage perfect for our family of 5. Great deck for morning coffee and also includes an outdoor shower. Quick and easy walk/bike ride to Cooks Brook or the private beach that we have access to. We look forward to our 2022 visit!

This place is very cozy. This was our first time in this cute and homey cottage. The deck and the shower outside...outstanding. A lot of space in all the rooms and the beds are very comfortable.

There is a private beach few minutes walking away and even at this time of the year we were able to go in the water, it was calm and warm, we had a blast and we made great memories there. The sunset on the beach is something you don't want to miss.

We highly recommend Brenda and Chris's rental. The place is very well maintained and so clean. We are hoping to go back in few years.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is a very comfortable well maintained house with a nice yard. We relaxed on the deck listening to the birds and playing board games. It is a very quiet peaceful neighborhood. The best feature is the beautiful private beach where we spent most of our time. The beach is just a short walk from the cottage.The location is great for exploring the Eastham area. There are many beaches, restaurants and shops to visit. We are planning to return next summer.

We have stayed at this property the past three years and have never had better vacations then when we are here. Brenda and Chris are absolutely fabulous and really make sure their property is in top shape for their guests. You can't ask for a better location with less than a 5 minute walk to a private beach. The home is cozy and beautiful, we will continue to return each year because it is pure heaven and one of the most peaceful relaxing places we have ever found. Thank you, Brenda and Chris!

We had the opportunity to spend Columbus Day weekend in Eastham with family at this Cape Cod home. The exterior and interior of the home was well maintained and clean with all the amenities of home available to us. The outside shower was a big hit with everyone. Although we did not swim while we were there, we walked to Cooks Brook Beach every day to enjoy the bayside beaches and amazing sunsets. We will definitely be back to this Cape house during the summer months!!

My husband and I along with our teenage daughter and her friend stayed at Chris and Brenda's place in August 2018. I truly enjoyed our stay at their cottage. We typically rent in Dennis but we wanted to change things up and stay close to the National Seashore on this vacation.

The cottage was beautiful. It was nicely decorated. It's not a huge place, but it wasn't that small either. It fit the 4 of us just fine, and could have accommodated one more. The air conditioner in the kitchen area kept the living areas cool, and even during the long heat wave, the fans in the bedroom windows were enough to keep you comfortable enough to sleep at night with the door closed.

The kitchen is nicely stocked. They even have a basket with herbs in the closet if you forgot to bring something. We used all the appliances, and everything worked great, especially the blender - hahaha.

The bedrooms have enough storage for your clothing. I loved the baskets to keep small clothing in. A place for everything and everything in it's place.

The outdoor shower was absolutely awesome!! We also enjoyed the use of the large deck every morning for coffee or evening for drinks. We brought our own, but they provide beach chairs and beach games in the basement. Also in the basement is the washer and dryer that we made very good use of. We enjoyed walking to the bayside beach just down the dirt road along the side of the cottage for sunsets. The drive to the National Seashore took minutes. I think it was about 2+ miles away. There were restaurants conveniently located to the cottage as well. We went to the drive-in on Friday. The back entrance is just down the street from the house.

My husband and I enjoy running. I loved the location of this cottage for running or walking. The cottage is in the middle of a lovely neighborhood filled with treed lots. In the heat of the summer, it was so nice to find a 3 mile run where I could run by ocean if I wanted that particular view, or run in the shade of the trees through the very quiet and peaceful neighborhood if I preferred.

We will keep Chris and Brenda's place on our short list of "let's do this again." Also - working with Chris and Brenda was a treat. They are very nice people, and very easy to work with. Zero problems, tons of fun. I highly recommend staying here.

We have spent many summers in Eastham but this year we needed to find a vacation rental. Knowing the area well, we had a lot of "must haves' on the list. This house was exactly what we were looking for! It had enough room for our family of four, a great deck/yard, outdoor shower, AC in the main area, and a short walk to the bay beach. We were also close enough to enjoy restaurants and shopping. The kitchen had everything we needs and loved having the grill to use. We recommend this house to anyone who wants to chill out and enjoy what the Cape has to offer. We will definitely be back!!

We have rented many cottages on the bay side of Eastham over the last 20 years. This was one of my favorites. It is small, but very comfortable for our family of four (2 adults & 2 teenage girls). The cottage was very clean and well maintained. The owners clearly put a lot of time and effort into selecting the furnishings and amenities. Everything you need is included, from beach chairs and umbrellas to a large outdoor shower with hot and cold running water. Fans in the bedrooms and an A/C unit in the kitchen/living area made for comfortable lounging and sleeping at night. Would not hesitate to rent again.

This was our first time staying at this cottage, and we had a great experience! We appreciated the updated kitchen, outdoor shower, and spacious deck for hanging out. The short walk to the private beach access was easy to do with our kids (ages 3 and 8), and the beach carts and chairs provided by the owners were a big plus. The owners were very responsive to questions we had leading up to our trip, and they were very friendly and professional overall. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a nice vacation spot in Eastham!

We've been on holiday on the Cape many times and this was our third time staying at Brenda and Chris's Holiday Home - it is first rate. They continue to improve it, upgraded kitchen, new floors, new furniture, etc.

The deck is a superb "extra room" and significantly extends the living space. The home is also a great base to explore the Outer Cape with easy access to Orleans, Wellfleet and beyond.

Highly recommended.

We've been staying at Brenda and Chris's cottage annually since 2012. The location suits us perfectly with short walks or bike rides to the beaches, convenience to markets for food and dessert, and cycling routes to the north, south and east. The cleanliness and maintenance are first rate. We always know we will have a great stay.

You will not be disappointed with this rental!!! My family and I just got back from a week at the Cape. We arrived to a spotless house with everything you need and more. There was not one thing that I needed that I could not find. The outdoor shower is AMAZING...maybe three showers were taken inside the whole time we were there! My kids loved it, even in the cold and rain!

The beach is a short walk away and it is beautiful to say the least! Very private and secluded. There is so much to do on the Cape. The house is within 30 minutes of Provincetown at one end and Hyannis at the other. You will NOT be disappointed with anything if you decide to rent this place...besides the weather and we all know we can't change that. Thank you so much to Chris and Brenda for sharing their home away from home with my family and I. We will for sure be back again, if not for anything but the outdoor shower. :)

Just a quick review to state how much we enjoyed staying at this house last week. It was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and in a perfect location. We hope to be able to return next year once we receive our vacation schedules.

We had a wonderful vacation in this North Eastham cottage. It was clean and had everything we needed for a family of 4 during a week's vacation. The private beach (which is wonderful) is a longer walk, but the kids thought it was great to bike there each day! We were very comfortable with our 6- and 8- year-old children playing in the yard or riding their bikes on the private dirt road. Being close to the National Seashore, as well towns in the Mid and Outer Cape, made the location very convenient. We would definitely stay here again!!

We stayed at the cottage for a week. It was wonderful! I have two kids, they were able to walk down to the private beach themselves - which they loved! The cottage itself was perfect for us! We all loved the outdoor shower. It was clean and the basement was immaculate. It was very conveniently located also. We definitely would rent this cottage again & highly recommend it. It helped to make our vacation just lovely!

In an ever changing and hectic world, the comfort of returning to such a charming cottage.... is priceless. The value of this cottage goes well beyond the excellent location, the wonderful environment and the tranquil feelings that are generated the moment you arrive.

A stay here feels all inclusive and hassle free. With the private beach, the (awesome) outdoor shower, the beautiful landscaping, the large deck, the relaxing sounds and summer breezes combined with the little touches that you don't always get elsewhere (i.e., books for a rainy day, wifi (if you must), DVDs, a washing machine, beach chairs and a sand cart) make for the ideal choice for a stay. Do not hesitate in a decision. You will, simply, not regret choosing to stay in this gem.

A cozy cottage that has all the amenities of home. Not to mention the storybook short walk down a tree-lined dirt road to the picturesque stairway down to a private beach that was never overcrowded. Perfect, whether it be low or high tide. This was our second visit and we will certainly be back again!!

This cottage is close to everything in Eastham. The walks are short, and the private bayside beach is fantastic! I showed up with a bag of clothes and a toothbrush while everything else I needed was available at this cozy estate. The outdoor shower was most comforting and enjoyable. I will be back!

From the moment I stepped onto the wide deck and through the sliding door, I knew I was sold on my rental decision. The property had all the modern comforts of home, with the old-time furnishings of a seaside cottage as well. This place has charm! It makes you feel at home just sitting inside reading a book, playing board games or enjoying the sunset from the privacy of the overlooking beach access. And I've never seen anything as cool as the outdoor shower. Rain or shine you will never have a more enjoyable shower experience; I guarantee it!

Whether you want to experience the close knit community and beaches of Eastham or venture to neighboring towns like Orleans to play mini golf or Wellfleet for the drive-ins, the cottage is perfectly suited for any such outings.

Brenda and Chris were very fun and pleasant to work with, and the place was spotless when I got there. Will definitely be planning future trips to the Cape and Chris and to Brenda's seaside cottage!!

What a nice home. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you would need to prepare meals and snacks. The master bedroom is SO cute and the ceiling fan helped keep it really cool. You really feel that this place is a home away from home. There are books and games to play. A great yard to play in.

The beach was a lot of fun any time of the day. The only thing I think needs to be mentioned are the stairs that you have to go down/up to the beach. They were quite unexpected. The beach was never crowded and the people we did meet there were so nice.

The property is also close enough to a few shops and outings to rent bikes! We are very glad to have stayed here!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home on Cape Cod ! It is a very warm and cozy home! Great outdoor shower and nice deck! Since we have little children, the short walk to the bay beach was perfect ! The private beach was an extra perk we enjoyed also! The house was very clean and had everything you would need during your stay! The house is close to all our favorite spots in Eastham! We would love to stay there again!

Upon our arrival, we quickly understood that it was the correct choice to spend our vacation here. The cottage and its surroundings immediately brought back a wave of fantastic childhood memories.

The inside of the cottage is cozy, clean and bright. The windows and sliding kitchen door allow for Cape breezes and sunlight to wash over the entire place. Outside, the deck is large, well maintained, and the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the sun or have an evening dinner at the table. The outdoor shower, lawn, and grill are perfect accessories to complete your stay.

The private beach is just a short walk down a sandy road, where people wave 'hello" (and actually mean it). The beach is clean, safe, and very pleasant. It is a wonderful spot for exploring, playing, and relaxing while the tides go in and out. The warm bay water is unmatchable to be in.

If you have a thought while you are staying here, it's your own fault. This is simply one of the best mind erasers we've ever come across. It is truly, a relaxing place. We are, already, looking forward to our next visit.

We loved staying at this house! It is clean, comfortable, and boasts a large deck, beautiful outdoor shower and short walk to the beach. For those with young children, here were the highlights for us:
- A short walk on a dirt road to a quiet private beach. Our three-year-old was able to do this walk!
- Large outdoor deck right off the kitchen with nice patio furniture (we ate many meals out there).
- a decent sized yard my kids could safely play in
- a short drive to kid hot-spots like Ben & Jerry's and the Red Barn
- Netflix (need I say more?)
- comfortable beds and A/C - everyone slept well!
Finally, Brenda and Chris were easy to work with, friendly and professional.
We would definitely recommend this property!

What a great location - beach location and access is excellent - we'd been to the Cape several times before but this had to be the best in terms of location.

There was a nice supply of extras - chairs, boards etc The deck was a highlight - really adds space to the property - became the main room. Outdoor shower got more use than the indoor one and again adds to the property.

It was nice to have a supply of books, DVDs and an excellent TV but the location is so good we hardly needed them.

Nice interaction with the owners - we were travelling from Northern Ireland and they really helped.

We were very pleased with the bright cheery decor and comfortable beds. No little nicknacks that just get in the way! Nice large patio and new patio furniture. We all loved the outdoor shower and already miss it. We were fortunate to have beach weather every day. Cook's Brook Beach was just a short walk away and quiet. Perfect for young families. The cottage was well-stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards. Kitchen well-appointed with everything you need. Washer and dryer were convenient. The cottage is located a short drive away from many attractions: restaurants, bike trail, Wellfleet drive-in and flea market, Cape Cod National Seashore, etc. The owners, Chris and Brenda, were very accommodating :) They even contacted us to make sure everything was ok. It was our first time vacationing on Cape Cod and we all loved it!

We had a perfect stay in this cottage. We spent 7 days and everything was great. The cottage itself is really charming and cozy with nice decoration, both inside and outside. We felt like home immediately. It's very clean and beds are very comfortable. And the outdoor shower, it's so great and so convenient! We also really enjoyed the private beach at a walking distance. We highly recommend this place!

This is a wonderful vacation home. Super clean, easy to live in, and hard to leave!! Our family had such a relaxing and fun time. The walk to the beach is easy and fast (and with 3 boys, ages 6, 4 & 4...fast is good!) and the beach is awesome. You essentially have the place to yourself! Perfect at low tide for exploring, and high tide for swimming. My kids were easily transformed into dolphins. The outdoor shower was lovely. I think it was the kids favorite feature. Location of this place is perfect! Super easy to find, and close to the National Seashore, Stop & Shop, Cape Escape Mini golf, and some great restaurants. (Eat breakfast at the Fairway! Eat Fish & Chips at The Friendly Fisherman!) We highly recommend this home. You will not be disappointed at all! We look forward to renting this cottage again!

We were simply blown away by the attention to detail and everything this property had to offer. From the moment we arrived it felt like a home away from home. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was so clean and fresh! The cottage was beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we could ever need for our stay. From the games, movies, and books that came in handy on our ONE rainy day of the week, to the beach cart and chairs for the amazing private beach! The master suite was perfect! The kids loved their bedrooms. Our favorite place in the entire cottage: the outdoor shower!!!!! It was amazing! Our 6-year-old now insists we build our own! The beach was a short and beautiful walk away. The water was warm and calm, which was great for the kids. We look forward to staying with you again next year!!!! We spent two weeks at Brenda and Chris's home at the Cape. It was a "vacation" in every sense of the word. They have gone above and beyond to provide everything vacationers might need. The cottage is super clean, cozy and just great. The outdoor shower is something you want to bring home with you. Looking forward to doing this again.

This rental was perfect for our Cape vacation. The cottage was cheery and clean, beds were very comfortable and the outdoor shower was "Best of Cape"! The quiet location was also a short drive or bike ride to several fish markets and restaurants. The Cape Cod Rail Trail was easily reachable by bikes from the cottage by going across Route 6 via a signalized intersection at Old County Road. At low tide the beach is flat out for over 200 yards and great for wading and playing in as the tide comes in. We enjoyed being able to walk along the beach for at least a mile at low to just short of high tide. The west shore at Eastham and Wellfleet provided pleasant kayaking from the nearby town beach and we saw many birds and fish in the marsh. We definitely plan to come back to this cottage.

Staying at this property was one of the best vacations we have had. During the seven day stay we enjoyed our time to the fullest. We spent most of our time at the private beach and hanging out on the patio. The cottage was very clean and felt like home. Definitely planning on going back next summer! We had a wonderful stay in this cottage - it is perfect for a small family with young children. The private beach is excellent for swimming. It is warm, calm, and since it is private, you avoid all the crowds! The sunsets were spectacular too. Our 2 1/2 year-old could not get enough of the water. It really made a difference in our vacation being able to walk to such a great beach rather than pack everything in the car and go to the crowded, colder water and rough seas of the National Seashore. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could ever need, and everything is brand new. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
