Beautiful Cottage, Walking Distance to Cooks Brook Beach

The owners were so friendly and flexible, very easy to communicate with and kind. The house is on a quiet street, an easy bike ride to the bayside beach, or about a 15 minute walk. It's easy to drive to any beach or town along the cape from this location, very well cleaned, and so reasonably priced! As for the cons: I'm the kind of person who is easily affected by air quality, and the house smelled stale and musty all week, especially the bedrooms. The queen mattress was sagging in the middle, so along with the air quality, we did not sleep well. My 11 year old slept great in the twin bed next door. The kitchen has not been updated in a long time, and the tiny stove/oven is encased in aluminum foil, so not great if you like to cook. Overall, the musty air and outdated kitchen, plus screws sticking out of a small deck and the outdoor shower coming apart made me feel a little too yuck to rent this place again. But it's great for someone who wants to grill or eat out and wear shoes on the wooden planks outside the back door. show more show less

We were warmly greeted by Ma Ya and Ninsheng. They are gracious hosts, and they explained everything we needed to know about the property and local area. We found the cottage very clean, homey, and just perfect for a beach vacation! The cottage had everything you would need to have a comfortable stay. We did not lack for anything. The outdoor shower was our favorite! This is an excellent location; less than 10 minutes to the National Seashore, a short walk to the town beach, and conveniently located near many great restaurants, gift shops, etc. We highly recommend staying here! show more show less

This was a wonderful place to stay. The kitchen was well-appointed, the house and yard were big. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our family of 3, but could accommodate more. The owners are accommodating, kind and truly care about their home and that their guests enjoy their stay. The beach is a short 10 minute walk away. The neighborhood is quiet and comfortable. At night we used the fire pit to make smores and hung out in the backyard. The house is functional and clean and we would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend. show more show less

Ningsheng and Ma Ya are such nice hosts and easy to work with for the arrangements. They enjoy their little cottage in Eastham and want the renters to as well. The cottage was prepped for arrival which was a nice touch. The neighborhood is quiet and traffic is light and the amenities are more than enough for a relaxing time down the cape: a grill, fire pit and outdoor shower. We enjoyed the bay side beaches and being 15-20 minute walking distance to Cooks Brook was the highlight of the location.

We have been renting this home every year for the past five years. We rented it once and loved it so much we keep coming back every fall. The house is always clean and well prepared for us and the owners are super friendly and cooperative. They always check in to see how things are going. The back yard is huge and great for grilling out. It has all the comforts of home and is located in a great walking area. Not much traffic and many options for taking a nice stroll and very close to a nice beach. There are several good restaurants close by and the owners thoughtfully left menus for several of them. Cannot say enough about how nice the owners are and how welcome they make you feel. show more show less

This was a wonderful rental for a 4 day stay. It was so clean and comfortable upon arrival. The bedrooms were sunny and comfortable. The yard in the house was so spacious it was the perfect place for us to have bbq's and sit out enjoying the nice weather and eating outside.

The owners was so pleasant and helpful it was a pleasure renting from them. Would definitely rent again!!

This cozy little place sits at this perfect spot where you can walk to the beach in the morning to enjoy high or low tide, and then again in the evening to watch the spectacle of the sunset. This show never fails to astound you and it's different every day! Do you want a variety? - The area has so many beaches and you're free to explore them all, crowning the whole experience with the majestic National Seashore.

Close proximity to all the attractions and great restaurants of Wellfleet and Orleans is a big plus.

Oh, and you just can't miss Arnold's Mini Golf in Eastham and Wellfleet's Flea Market!

The cottage will have everything you need to enjoy Cape Cod at its best. The owners are VERY nice and helpful! They love their place and keep improving it constantly. We'll have to rent it again to see the updates!
