Description

This two bedroom, one bath home is in a special location on the ocean side of Eastham. One queen bed, two twins(extra long), and a pull out queen sized couch are available. Amenities , including dishwasher, washer/dryer, cable TV, and Internet are all provided. The patio is set within a nice garden area. There is a gas grille for your use as well as a private outside shower.

Walk to Coast Guard Beach, or bike, or take a two minute walk through the woods to catch the shuttle bus. Our marked trail connects to seashore trails. The house is surrounded by the Cape Cod National Seashore. Nature abounds here. The bird life is special. Sometimes the wild turkeys or a deer come by. The ocean surf can be heard at times. This is a special, quiet setting with privacy, but still close to the general store, ice cream shop, restaurants fish market, etc.

Town of Eastham requires that you provide your own linens.

    Very cozy and clean! Loved the big yard and patio. Flowers were beautiful.

    Spotless and cozy home. Very close to many amenities yet also secluded enough as to have privacy. We are so happy that this was our choice in a vacation rental.

    Gorgeous patio and garden with an assortment of flowers and flowering bushes.

    Lovely Home!

    Surf Sounds is a really lovely vacation rental. The house is cute, cozy and spotlessly clean. Carol has put her personal welcoming touch on the house with the pictures and photos on the walls and little bud vases with flowers. The kitchen is well equipped. The yard is completely private and filled with flowers and butterflies and hummingbirds! The fact that it is so close to the ocean and Coast Guard Beach makes it just perfect. I highly recommend this home.

    Great time
    July 2014

    Surf Sounds was a great time for us. Really nice, very clean cottage for us and our two boys (10 & 7 y/o), with a beautiful backyard and garden - perfect for morning coffee or grilling a quiet dinner with the bunny rabbits hopping around in the great green swath of grass.

    Getting to the beach shuttle for Coast Guard Beach couldn't be easier; a 10 minute stroll through the woods from the backyard along the path with the fish markers to the parking lot, though not a great trail for a wheeled beach cart.

    Carol and Greg were very attentive to a small issue that came up during our stay, and responded quickly with solutions.

    Located near Arnold's, Fairway, and Sam's Deli, you can take Nauset Road to avoid the traffic and turning across Rte 6.

    All in all, a great time for us.

    A Very Special Rental
    June 2015

    We spent a week here in Summer 2014. I have stayed in vacation homes on the Cape every summer my whole life. This place is very special, unlike any other. It was spotless on our arrival. It is in the middle of the National Seashore - natural setting, not commercial. You can walk to one of the top 10 beaches in the US - Coast Guard Beach. We can't wait for our next week here!

    We purchased this property because of its proximity to the ocean side and Cape Cod Bay. The quiet neighborhood, and ability to walk to Coast Guard Beach, makes this location extra special.

    What is special about this property?
    We love taking care of this property in our spare time. The plantings are representative of Cape scenery, and include lilacs, forsythia, lots of cedar trees and pine trees.
    At times , we can hear the ocean waves lapping at the shore. The salt air smell reminds us that Cape Cod is special.

    What is special about your town?
    The outdoor enthusiast dream!!! Biking, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, digging clams, harvesting oysters ( in season) , and walking the sand flats of Cape Cod Bay are all fun adventures.
    The trail out the back of the property connects directly with Cape Cod National Seashore trails.
