Tranquil. The first floor of this newish home on the bayside is an open floor plan. The fireplaced living room opens onto a large, multi-level deck, and there is a wonderful kitchen with an eat-at-counter and a separate dining room. There is a half bath and laundry off the kitchen. The first floor master bedroom has a king bed suite [tub/shower combination].

The second floor has a queen bedroom suite [step-in shower] and another bedroom with twin beds, full bath in hall [tub/shower combo]. The second floor also has a den with a day bed and love seat and TV. There is a small loft with desk/study work area.
The house has air conditioners in all the bedrooms, WIFI, expanded cable, and central vacuum system.

The area is very private with a field on one side and wooded area on three sides. There is an abundance of sky and stars at night. The road is a private dead end road with only 7 houses, safe and quiet. It is off Massasoit Rd, the back road from Orleans to Wellfleet, and you can stay off Route 6 for an easier drive to local bay beaches and activities.

The Cape Cod National Seashore Visitors Center is about 3 miles away and they have walks, talks and many activities.
The Cape Cod Bike trail is 1 1/2 miles from the house, and you can choose to drive to the parking area at Bracket Rd. or you can peddle.

There are many historical sites in Eastham, Nauset Light, The Three Sisters Lights, Eastham windmill, Swift-Daily House, and the Pilgrim Burialgrounds.

The house is 3 miles to North Eastham Center for food, shops, restaurants, bike rental, and the Post Office. It is also within walking distance of the Wellfleet Audubon Sanctuary, Wellfleet flea market, theater and drive-in. read more show less

    Outstanding rental and owner!

    This was our family's 1st time renting from Ginny & her husband Don. First, the house was in OUTSTANDING condition, clean and stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. In many rentals we stayed in the past, there were not enough kitchen utensils, dishes or pans to cook. Ginny has this kitchen WELL stocked and we were extremely pleased.

    The location is secluded and is close to the bay as well as the ocean. We truly enjoyed dealing with Ginny and Don, they couldn't have been more accommodating to us!

    I HIGHLY recommend you consider their rental options, you won't be disappointed. We already are booked for the same time next year!     show more show less

    Awesome vacation rental!!

    We have stayed in this rental for the past 10 years and absolutely love it!!! We love the quiet street and the spacious lay-out of the interior of the home. My kids would never consider staying anywhere else. It is the highlight of their summer. Ginny and her husband are amazing and always readily available if we need them. The large deck on the back is perfect for outdoor dining. Would give the highest rating!! We are so fortunate we have been able to get this rental year after year!     AWESOME vacation rental

    We have been renting this home from Virginia and her husband for many years. We absolutely LOVE this house. The location is perfect -- just minutes from either the Bay or Ocean beaches. The street is very quiet and our kids often play frisbee, tag, and soccer in the street because it is not busy at all!~ The open floor plan of their home provides an airy yet very homey feel. The large deck is perfect for entertaining friends and family. We would not think of staying anywhere else on the Cape. This was such a magnificent find.
