Description

Our cottage is a short 1/2 mile walk from beautiful Sunken Meadow Beach on the bay side in North Eastham. The house is on a quiet sandy road and part of the extensive network of unpaved roads on the bayside of North Eastham. These roads are safe and great for walking.

The lot is 1/3 acre and has good privacy. In the backyard there is a deck with a gas grill, outdoor shower, hammock and fire pit and we have plenty of beach chairs for you.

The house is on a single level with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Recent upgrades include new floors in the living room and hall and new paint in the living room and kitchen. There is high speed wifi and a Roku smart tv along with cable. The washer and dryer are in the basement.

We replaced the mattresses in 2022.

    Eastham vacation

    We had a wonderful stay at this home. Everything was clean and organized. There was plenty of space in the home and the kitchen was much more spacious than many other cape homes we have rented. There were ceiling fans in every room which was such a nice surprise and definitely made the house cool and comfortable. The brand new gas grill was another bonus! It was a short walk to the beach which we often did a couple times of day. The house is in a perfect quiet neighborhood.
    Dave was great about reaching out and making sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to vacationing here again in the future! show more show less

    Perfect Little House

    We spent a week in the house last year and are going back for another week this summer. The house is great! It's close to everything, it's equipped with pretty much everything you might need, it's a nice little walk to the bay side beach, and the owner is awesome to deal with. We truly enjoyed our stay there, and are looking forward to it again this year.

    Very Relaxing

    This is my favorite spot. It is close to just about everything you would want on the Cape: 1/2mi walk to a bay-side beach, short drive to several national seashore beaches, bike paths, beautiful walks, restaurants, plenty of kid-friendly activities, etc., It is set in a very quiet neighborhood off of a dirt road. The house is clean and there is plenty of room for everyone in the family. Very relaxing. I've rented many times and very much looking forward to going back.

    Ideal getaway

    Well-equipped and clean, this place worked great in accommodating our group of 2 adults and 5 kids. We loved the quiet back yard with deck and hammock, which was perfect for after beach relaxation time stargazing at night. The location is perfect - we walked to Sunken Meadow beach a few times, drove to nearby beaches easily, and were able to access the bike path within a mile from the house.

    I'm Dave and I own 55 Asa's Road and also manage 40 Stockyard Road for my Mother. My family has owned property on Asa's Road and Stockyard Road in Eastham since the 1960s and we built 40 Stockyard in 1980.

    I live in Andover but my wife and I and our 2 boys spend as much time as we can in Eastham.

    What is special about this property?
    The house's greatest asset is its location. We're close enough to the beach to walk and the sunsets are amazing. The house is on a nice .38 acre lot with good privacy in a very quiet neighborhood.

    What is special about your town?
    Eastham is perfectly situated for easy access to the best that the Cape has to offer from Chatham to Provincetown. We are walking distance from the warm water of bayside beaches, 3 miles from Nauset Light and Coast Guard beach in the National Seashore, 1 mile from the Cape Cod Rail Trail for biking, 10 minutes from the Wellfleet Beachcomber and the fine dining and galleries of Wellfleet, 10 minutes from the fine dining and galleries of Orleans, 20 minutes from great golf in Brewster ...
