Perfect Beach House Getaway on Private Road

We enjoyed our stay very much, comfortable places to relax when not outside, well equipped kitchen, helpful and responsive owner when we had questions. Enjoyed location near bike trails and beach.

This was our 9th time vacationing on Cape Cod and each time we have stayed in Eastham. We stayed in a motel the first 2 times and have rented a house in Eastham the last 7 visits. We had a great time this past week staying in this house. The location was great : it was located 1.2 miles from Nauset Light Beach and it was about 8/10s of a mile from the Cape Cod Rail Trail. What we also liked about the location was that it was easy to get to a traffic light when getting on Route 6.

The house is located on a private road off of Nauset Road. This private road is a dirt & stone road. You just have to take it easy on this private dirt road , keep it under 15 mph . It's a narrow road , but over the course of our week stay we never encountered any problems using the road at all . Nice little wooded neighborhood.

The house was nice and clean when we arrived. We liked everything about it : Plenty of room for us, there were AC units that kept the house cool as well and it was a hot week with temperature between 77 and 88 all week. The dishwasher and washer & dryer all worked great. As for features we liked a lot - of course the outdoor shower , a large deck out back, a nice small deck off the upstairs bedroom and a hammock out back. There were also grills and 2 fire pits out back but we didn't use those , but .. for those that like to grill and have fires they would enjoy that Oh also , we really enjoyed the ping pong table and foosball table in the basement.

The living room had a nice, large Smart TV and we had the option to watch cable TV or use streaming services like Netflix, Hulu and Prime , so that was great.

Also on the living room table there was a binder with a lot of information pertaining to stuff like operating the TV, using the dishwasher, trash & recycling as well as a lot of information about things to do in the area, places to eat, etc etc.

To sum it all up : We enjoyed our vacation and we really liked staying at this house. We would definitely stay here again

Also - all my communications with Louise pertaining to this house went very smooth - from my initial inquiries , messages dealing with payments, emails providing info on the rental - arrival check list and what not.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is perfectly equipped and is in a great location. We loved all the space and the numerous decks. Louise was a great host and was super easy to work with. Would highly recommend!

We loved staying here for the week! The house was in an awesome location, is a great size and has a well-equipped kitchen. Our kiddos, 7 & 3, had a great time in the backyard and both slept very well in the nicely AC'd rooms. Definitely recommend!

The house was perfect for our family of 3 adults and 3 children (14, 8, and 1.5). It was very clean and provided us with everything we needed. It's very close to Nauset Light Beach (ocean side) and First Encounter Beach (bay side). The only negative was that the internet download speed was very slow (3 Megabits per second).

Our family had a relaxing and comfortable week at this well-appointed and quiet home in Eastham. The ping pong table and beach gear was an added bonus. It was great having a/c in most of the rooms because it was a very hot week!

My family of 6 really enjoyed our week in this rental home. The location is a perfect jumping off point for visiting other parts of the Cape, but really, Eastham is such a great town there's no need to. We found tons to explore in and around Eastham. Nauset Light Beach is a mile down the road from this house and the rail trail is also nearby- no need to drive to either, just hop on your bikes! The Nauset Lighthouse and Eastham Windmill offer free tours (and are quite interesting!), there's great little stores in Eastham to stock up on food, a fab flea market and drive in movies a few minutes down the road in Wellfleet. The house itself was very clean, comfortable for our family, and had everything we needed/expected for our visit. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the outdoor spaces for morning coffee or afternoon sunning or grilling were great. The washer and dryer were great to have for use, and also very clean. It's a great house in a nice, quiet neighborhood, and the homeowner was very responsive and easy to communicate with- highly recommend!

A roomy, bright, and sparkling clean beach house greeted us on July 1. We loved how it was decorated, and outside there were so many places to sit and talk. It was very close to Nauset Beach and the wonderful shops and restaurants in Eastham.

We had a great stay. The house was exactly as described. The homeowner was very easy to deal with. We loved the private, wooded location with plenty of outdoor space, fire pit and gas BBQ. The proximity to awesome Nauset Light beach, the rail trail and good restaurants were all big positives!

This rental was fantastic for our family of four. Our extended family was able to join us during the week and everyone was comfy. The .5 bath is a game-changer, the back deck is huge, the surroundings are quiet and secluded. Even the neighbor across the street was nice.

The fans and AC units kept us cool during the heatwave the beginning of the week. And everywhere we went was within 30 minutes (Ptown/Wellfleet/Orleans/Truro). An awesome hidden gem and a bike ride to Nauset Light Beach.

We enjoyed an amazing 3 nights in this house, just a short bike ride or drive to the beach and a great selection of restaurants and bars. The house was immaculate upon arrival, with extremely comfortable beds and a fully equipped open kitchen. With two bedrooms and decks on both the first and second floors, it was perfect for two families.

The owner provided great recommendations and made sure our stay both relaxing and fun.

I had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house is a traditional Cape home on a secluded, woodsy street in Eastham. Yet it is close to everything - several ocean beaches, the rail bike trail, and a short drive to the bay beaches to see the sunset. It's easy to get to many other towns on the Cape, including Wellfleet, Provincetown, and Orleans. The house itself is extremely comfortable, with two decks, an outside shower, comfortable bedrooms and a kitchen that is clean and bright. I can't wait to go again!

This house is in a perfect location, had everything we needed during the stay, and had overall great space for our family. The opened living area, that also leads onto a porch, was just perfect for the summer time, and the outdoor shower was really nice after a day on the beach. We truly enjoyed riding our bikes everywhere and exploring the quiet and private neighborhood. The bedrooms were spacious and very clean. The ACs worked well and was able to fill the house with air, but we loved having the windows opened and smelling the sea air. We did not get a chance to try the firepit in the backyard - will have to do that next time; we will definitely be renting this home again.
