What a welcoming place to stay for a week in the Cape! The space is open, bright, beautiful and perfect for 1 or 2 people coming for some R & R. You can see all the special details that Mark and Susan have done to make it a cozy spot. From hand made furniture to a bottle of bubbly in the fridge! Wait till you see that walk in closet!! We enjoyed going to the beach everyday and then having a "home" to return to with a nice outdoor shower and a private sitting area to relax, read, listen to the birds and watch the bunnies! You couldn't ask for better hosts- Mark and Susan were very helpful and quick to respond with any of our questions and it was nice to get to talk to them while we were there. We were so lucky to have found this rental. Susan and Mark were great hosts. They were very responsive to any questions. The rental is attached to their house, however you have your own entrance and parking spot. It has great amenities, including a gas grill, wifi, washer/dryer, dishwasher and optional outdoor shower (which we enjoyed every day!). We were able to cook full meals in the kitchen. It is well maintained and clean. It is just enough room for 2 people only, but has ample closet and storage space. Of note, the bedroom is in a loft. The bed was comfortable and there is an air conditioning unit in the window. I would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family and look forward to the opportunity to stay again.

Susan and Mark's studio apartment is super cute, modern, and very clean! Perfect for 2! The upstairs loft is roomy and has a very large walk in closet and huge dresser! Kitchen is well stocked and modern. Outdoor shower is the best! Super clean!

We had the best week. Perfect location! Close to both the Bay and National Seashore beaches and neighboring towns! Very private location and also very easy to get to from Rt 6. We will definitely be back!

Susan and Mark are friendly, perfect hosts. We really enjoyed our week-long stay there. Everything is new and clean with just about everything you would need.

It's a perfect base to explore the outer and middle Cape or go bike riding or visiting the local beaches. No complaints whatsoever. We'll be back when we can.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week staying at Susan and Mark's studio. They are such great hosts who were very welcoming and available if you needed something.

The studio is extremely well stocked and comfortable.

It was the perfect location for us to access the bike trails and the beaches. Close enough to Route 6 if you choose to further explore the rest of the Cape.

Susan was a great host. She made us feel very comfortable while respecting our privacy. The space is adorable, clean, updated, and very comfortable for two. We enjoyed the use of the grill and outdoor shower. It's a great location with easy access to the ocean and bay beaches. It's everything you need and more for a couples getaway. We will look to book here in the future.

We so enjoyed our stay at this one year old rental. It was spotlessly clean with every cooking item you might require. The hosts were welcoming and available. The upstairs loft was roomy, with a comfy bed...might be a difficult climb for those with challenges.

Susan and Mark's cozy accommodation in North Eastham was perfect for our two week stay on the outer cape! Conveniently nestled on a private road just off route 6 between the amenities of Orleans and Wellfleet and National Seashore and bay beaches, the apartment offers optimal privacy and seaside comfort. Both Chatham and P-town are a mere 30 minutes away.

The custom built outside shower was a treat both in the am or pm and cannot be beat! The inside shower and bath are small but exquisitely designed. The home is well-cooled by the window AC in the loft with a huge closet and ample natural light overlooking gardens. Appliances and fixtures were modern and functional and we used the convenient washer/dryer daily. The queen sized bed in the loft was very comfortable as was the downstairs sofa.

Though we did not rent or bring bikes, the location is perfect as the bike trail is only 200 yards away and Coast guard and Nauset Light beaches are only a 30 minute bike ride. For walkers, we drove to Salt Pond visitors center (5 minutes) and walked the Nauset marsh trail to Coast guard beach. In the evening we walked to both Sunken Meadow and Cook's Brook bay beaches for the sunset—A nightly show not to be missed!

As a tip for newcomers to the Cape if you're staying a week or more, it's worth it to buy a season pass to the National Seashore beaches for $60 as well as a town of Eastham parking sticker which will allow you to park at any of the bay or freshwater beaches. Since parking is minimal (and further reduced with Covid) the sticker will give you piece of mind.

Our favorite food go-to's nearby were Sam's Deli (excellent wraps/tuna/chicken salads), hole in one doughnuts and the Friendly Fisherman as recommended by Susan. For excellent beer/wine selection at great prices I loved Windmill liquors in Orleans right by Stop 'N Shop.

Though this was their first year of hosting, Susan and Mark were the most amiable and conscientious of hosts. Communications with Susan in securing the rental were prompt and informative and my many questions were all addressed before and leading up to our arrival. The accommodations were spotless and Mark and Susan were truly considerate of our comfort and well being. If it wasn't for covid, I would have had them over for drinks by day 2!
