Walk down the boardwalk to your own 100 ft. Private Beach - 10 stairs brings you to soft sand and expansive views of Cape Cod Bay. This amazing location provides high tides and low tides twice a day. Facing west, the sunsets can be breathtaking. When tides are high, there is plenty of beach to place chairs and blankets, umbrellas and cooler, take a swim. At low tide walk the ''Flats'' or bring your chairs out into the bay and let the little ones splash in the shallow water. Set up the Volleyball net or play Bocce, or play ball, great family time. At the Boardwalk above, there is a '' Perch'' as we call it, overlooking the beautiful beach. Sip wine and reflect on the day, or watch the bathing beauties along the beach. A great spot to have coffee with the gulls in the early morning, while breezes blow the salt air.
Our home, well loved by our family for many years, has an open floor plan on the first floor. The living room, dining and kitchen provide space to gather, laugh and prepare great meals together. A 42'' TV with Chromecast provide entertainment The large dining table and buffet table provide plenty of serving and dining space, and the table quickly seconds as the large game table later in the evening. A number of couches and chairs provide seating about the living room, a time to sit and reconnect with family.
Off the living room is a quieter den with couch and chairs and Smart TV. A great reading and napping room.
There is a bedroom on the first floor with a full sized bed, dresser and closet . The downstairs is air conditioned.
A modern full bath is on the first floor with walk in shower. There is a shower chair and hand held spray if needed. Modern transfer chairs fit thru the bath doorway.
Our basement level is unfinished but will be set up with tables and chairs and lighting to provide a Rec Room for kids games and arts and craft area if rains come. The Washer and Dryer is on the basement level.
The second floor of the house has 3 bedrooms all freshly painted. The Queen bedroom is lovely, soft colors with dresser, closet and window -ac. There are 2 large beautiful Bayfront bedrooms, each with the most spectacular view of the ocean.
The Gray Room has a king size bed, sitting area to watch the ocean, a dresser and closet- this has window AC .
The Blue Room is large with king size bed which could be separated to make 2 twin beds plus 2 matching twin beds. There are 2 bureaus and a door direct to upstairs modern full bath. This beautiful room provides fabulous views from all windows of the Bay. There is window AC as well.
The Hall provides access to the upstairs bath as well.
There are two large decks on the house. one facing East for morning breakfast with sunrise,it has table and chairs and umbrella, a nice place to sit if the sun gets too hot on the West side.
The West Deck faces the ocean and boardwalk. Usually there is a breeze on this side. A table, chairs and umbrella
provide a great lunch and dinner spot. The outdoor Shower and private stall has hot and cold water, a dressing area and a nearby clothes line for wet towels and suits.
Our neighborhood is graced with lovely neighbors, We try to keep our party time to a reasonable noise level, turning off outside lights before too late. We hope our guests will respect our neighbors' property and privacy as well. We do not allow beach fires due to fire danger. You can obtain a beach fire permit from the National Seashore - check on line before going for details. Permit is for Outer Cape fires only.
Our home is near to many wonderful Cape activities: Wiley Park, a fresh water beach is within walking distance. The Herring Run is up the beach to the left - great when Herring are running and the small fish hatch from the fresh water pond and swim to the ocean. Sea Gulls await a catch and small children with their pails. Rock Harbor, Orleans, home to the Fishing Fleet love to take you out to try your luck with Stripers and Blue Fish,. The National Seashore, home to Nauset Lighthouse and Beach and Coastguard Beach, many trails and museum is in Eastham.
Towns to visit : Orleans with many shops, Snows, Chatham is so special to visit with restaurants, shops, go when fishing boats come to the pier to unload, kids love watching, You can't miss P-town- the Lobster Pot Restaurant, , shops and atmosphere. Wellfleet has the Audubon, Wellfleet Drive-In and Flea Market, Movie Theater, Stage Theater, Art Great Island trails., Truro Lighthouse, the beaches, Truro Vineyards, so much on Lower and Outer Cape.
Cape Cod Baseball with top college kids from around the USA- many go on to Pro teams-free. Most towns hold Music outdoors weekly- free. Most towns have numerous nature walking areas and playgrounds for kids- tennis courts hardly used. Golf courses are great especially Captains two 18 hole courses in Brewster.
