Are you ready to create a lifetime of family memories here on the Cape? Look no further and come to the “Rock Lobster” house of Eastham. We love our location and we think you will too! Walking distance to 2 great beaches on the bay. Our private association beach is less than a 5 min walk from our front steps. Campground Beach is a public beach and is about a 10 min walk. Our home sits towards the end of Campground road on a private dirt road. We love the privacy this home provides our family. The lot across from our home belongs to us and is used primarily for parking and visitors. The back yard is lined with tall Leland Cyprus trees that act as a natural fence line and barrier. Kick back and relax on the hammock, hang out on the deck, or grill and chill after a fun day at the beach.

The Rock Lobster house is nicely appointed, freshly painted, decorated, and filled with just enough amenities to provide all of the comforts of home (Wifi, Smart TV, Keyless Entry, Central Air, and new washer/dryer). The light in this house is amazing. It has 3 levels. The main level consists of the kitchen, dining area, living room, and half bath. The kitchen has a gas stove, stainless steel appliances and is adequately stocked with everything you would need to make a great breakfast, lunch, dinner, or cocktail! The second level is where the bedrooms are located. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The master bedroom has a large lofted ceiling with a king-size bed and a jacuzzi tub. Bedroom number 2 has 2 full-size beds with twin trundle bed, available as needed,. The washer and dryer are also conveniently located on the second level. Our light-filled 3rd-floor loft makes a great reading area and provides the opportunity to sneak in a nap on our comfy futon.

Open the sliding doors and walk out onto our peaceful little deck. Relax and catch the sunrise with a hot cup of coffee or an evening sunset with your favorite adult beverage and take in the fresh salt air. This is why you come to Cape Cod!

The location allows you quick access to the beach at any time. Our family enjoys grabbing fresh pastries and donuts in the morning from the local donut shop. If you want something to eat later on you can easily order pizza or have a sit-down meal all within a convenient 3-mile radius. We are close to the bike trails as well, so bring your bikes or rent them from the shop in Eastham. If you do want to venture out and take a break from the beach, we are close to P-town, Chatham, Wellfleet, Orleans, and Brewster.     Rock Lobster house - terrific!

    What a beautiful home and relaxing stay! Though I only had the pleasure of staying 3 days, Desiree's home was absolutely perfect. From the tranquility to the cleanliness and well appointed rooms, the house met every expectation. The short walk to the beach is easy and the beaches nearby are breathtaking. Communication was great and the whole process was very easy. Would absolutely stay again!

    Relaxing house by the bay

    We spent a week here this August and loved our stay. The house is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's an easy walk to the bay and conveniently located to other Cape Cod sights. Desiree goes above and beyond as a host. She made sure that her home worked for our family and that we had everything we needed. She also provides a detailed guidebook with information about both the house and the area.     Wonderful Experience!!

    This was our first time renting a house on the Cape for a week and we had an amazing vacation. Desiree and Brian's hospitality was wonderful. The house was equipped with everything we needed. They even left a few tennis balls for our pup! The outdoor shower was very enjoyable. The location is great. Close to private and public beaches. I walked the dog every morning on the beach. Very private and peaceful.

    Paradise On The Cape!

    Boy, Did We Need A Vacation!

    The Rock Lobster House in Eastham more than exceeded our expectations. We spent two glorious weeks at this hidden gem. Located on a quiet backroad, it is a short walk to two beautiful beaches.

    The home is decorated beautifully, yet at the same time is so welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped and there is even a washer and dryer at the property. We had a memorable time walking the meandering paths, basking in the sunshine, making S'mores in the fire pit, and watching the breathtaking beach sunsets.

    Great Vacation!

    We spend time every summer on the Cape and this home was one of the best we've rented. It was a perfect vacation. The kitchen is beautiful and the outside deck was a great spot to relax. The neighborhood is very quiet and it's a short walk to the beach. The owners were very easy to work with and made us feel welcome in their home. We hope to stay here again soon!

    Great Place to Stay in Eastham

    Our family of 4 recently stayed at the Rock Lobster House of Eastham for an extended Memorial Day weekend. This home is everything it looks like in the listing - modern, updated, bright, and in a location that is close to Route 6, restaurants and beaches. The home is on a quiet, dead-end street that allows you to walk to the bay and not worry about traffic. There is a new outdoor shower and all of the appliances are clean and efficient.     A fantastic stay in a beautiful place! Perfect location on the Cape!

    Our family spent a wonderful couple of days at the Rock Lobster House over Thanksgiving. What a beautiful vacation home, situated in a perfect location. A short walk took us to a beautiful beach, and a short drive took us anywhere we wanted on the Cape. We were able to visit several other towns on the Cape, and it was always nice to get back to the Rock Lobster House to rest and relax.

    Desiree had everything we needed to make our holiday meal complete in her fully stocked kitchen. The wide variety of pots, pans, dishware, barware, and other kitchen items made cooking in the home a breeze. If cooking isn't in your plans, there are several great restaurants close by! We had plenty of seating for our family, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. We had no issues with the TVs or the WiFi, and we had reliable service throughout our stay. Ample parking, spacious backyard and outdoor area, private location.

    If you are looking for a wonderful place to get away from it all and escape to a Cape Cod retreat, this is the place! It's a beautiful space in a beautiful place, and I would encourage anyone to snag a reservation here before the schedule fills up. This is a hidden gem on the Cape, and our family was so excited to have spent time and made memories here!!     show more show less

    A lovely last week of June ...

    We spent a lovely last week of June at the Rock Lobster house. The new owners had done a nice job of painting and updating the place with attention to details. It's a roomy house with a lot of privacy, a short walk from the beach. The whole-house air conditioning was a big plus on hot days.

    The kitchen was well-appointed with everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable. The smart TV's do not include basic cable, you will need to sign into your own apps. Desiree was very responsive when we had questions. show more show less

    Hello! Ironically, both my husband and I spent a lot of our summers growing up as children here at the cape! We met in Germany while serving in the Army and that was one of the many things we had in common. After his retirement from active duty, we finally had a chance to share the cape with our 4 - now almost all ''Grown and Flown'' sons. We have been coming here religiously since 2012. We both still have family here and that makes it special as well. As creatures of habit, we found something we liked and we stuck with it! We love Eastham. We have been renting in Eastham and on this beach for years. So for us, it made absolute sense that after all of the years of hockey, lacrosse, baseball, football, and of course college expenses...it was time to make our dream of owning a home here in Cape Cod a reality. We enjoy creating timeless family memories and we think you will too!

    What is special about this property?
    Everything that we love about his home can be described in our description. That said - it's a great little gem tucked away on a private road. As soon as you park in our private lot you feel like you are the only ones there. I love our backyard and the fact that we do not see any of our neighbors. We can have a fire or hang out on the deck and feel like we are the only ones around. If we want to be more social we are down the street from some great little places. Always something for the kids (and adult kids) ice cream, pizza, morning donuts, and great coffee if you don't want to brew a fresh cup at our place. Great sit-down restaurants and fun shopping to be had in P-town, Chatham, or any one of the great shops along the road. Being close to the bike trails is fun as well! But at the end of the day the best thing I like about this house is that I can wake up, walk to the beach and if its low tide - walk for miles out. I can come back as soon or as long as I would like. I can go back in the afternoon or most popular.. plan our dinner around SUNSET -- you have to do Sunset here... everynight! It's so very special and as a family that has lived around the world and then some I can tell you that the sunsets on the cape are some of the best in the world. This is our happy place and we hope it becomes your happy place as well.

    What is special about your town?
    The most popular attraction Eastham has to offer are, of course, the beaches! Pick a side any side and you can have the experience of the Atlantic Ocean or the Bay. Our home is closest to the Bayside and it has fit our family best. From lighthouses, the national seashore, bike trails, and sandy private dirt roads Eastham has it all. Eastham is also centrally located from a few great little foodie sites - Wellfleet, for the famous Wellfleet Oysters along with other local joints, Van Rensselaer's is a local fav. Eastham has Basco Grill, The Local Break, Brickhouse and Arnolds... hello and of course Red Barn Pizza - just to name a few...oops, I can not forget the Hole in One. Then take a scenic ride to Provincetown or Chatham for some great shopping and fun little eateries. Personally, we have ridden our bikes up and down the trail and stopped along the way for some treats and that is very special to us as well.
