We spent a wonderful 2 weeks at Cherrystone in Eastham this summer. It was everything that the description mentions and more. We have been vacationing on the Cape for nearly 40 years and have stayed in dozens of homes on the Outer Cape and Cherrystone ranks in the Top 5. First, when you walk in, you can see that the pictures of the house and grounds are completely accurate; it's that nice and the mini splits in each room were a fantastic surprise. The layout is open and bright and the living room furniture is plentiful and very comfortable. The kitchen worked fine for the few meals we cooked indoors because the large, new gas grill was perfect for any cooking we were doing at home. However, my kitchen highlights were the fancy dual single cup/carafe option Keurig machine and the ice/water in the double door refrigerator.
The beds were the most comfortable that we have ever slept on at the Cape and we have slept on a lot of beds. From fluffy comforters, extra pillows, lights in the closets, night lights in the rooms and hallways and USB ports on the bedside tables- everything was thought of.
This rental included linens/towels and they were of very nice quality. The washer and dryer were brand new and full sized which was great.
All of the houses we have rented included a starter set of toilet paper and paper towels but this house had an abundance of supplies, including nice hand soap, that was unexpected but very much appreciated.
One unique thing about this rental was the backyard shed - more like a mini cottage with a large tv, couch seating and a game table, but the best thing for us was the extra refrigerator. We had 5 adults staying and that refrigerator made food/drink storage a breeze.
Another plus was that this rental was pet friendly making it possible for our daughter and husband to join us. The child/dog gates on the deck were especially appreciated so she could roam free while we enjoyed sitting at the huge (easily could seat 10) outdoor table. The yard was so big and private with lots of trees that she could move about from sun to shade when out on her 30 foot leash.
The walk via the 1 mile dirt road path to Cooks Brook Beach became a very pleasant morning routine for all of us as well as a spot to watch the beautiful sunset at night.
Rental costs on the Cape have increased substantially over these last 40 years- that's life and the economy, but when you find a place that you feel is actually worth the cost, it makes it a little less painful.
We hope to return to Cherrystone in the future and realize that this review might make it a popular spot to rent but the owners deserve the credit for providing such a nice place to vacation.

Roomy ranch with modern amenities. Clean and comfortable with nice bedding and towels. The added game shed was a bonus. Plenty of parking. Easy access to many beaches, restaurants and attractions. We would definitely recommend - great for families.

We were very happy with both the location and cleanliness of this vocation home for our family. Loved all of the added touches such as beach gear, and games in the shed.

We have been renting houses in the Cape for over 30 years and this is definitely a keeper. The area is private, quiet and close to the beaches we love. The open house plan and natural light made for great conversation and gathering. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and our small dogs. We ate on the deck mostly which had two gates that helped us keep an eye on the dogs. I thought we would use the "man cave garage" because it was a perfect spot but we never did. I think if we had another week we would have watched a movie or played games as time goes by fast.

A quiet location in a wooded area of Eastham. Perfect for 4 adults & 2 children, or 5 adults (3rd bedroom has a full size & trundle). The open floor plan and large table on the deck were great for gathering at meal time or to play games. It also has a nice shady yard for playing outdoor games. Nice linens & comfortable beds, and a clean outdoor shower (no creepy mold etc.)
We would come back for sure!

My husband and I stayed at this Eastham property for Wellfleet Oysterfest weekend this past October. The house is on a low traffic dirt road in a quiet neighborhood. It is a light filled, updated and comfortable home with an open concept main living area. We cooked in one night and the kitchen was well equipped for basic meals. For warmer weather there is a grill and outdoor dining set on the large deck off the kitchen. We stayed in the main bedroom and it has a comfortable queen bed and private bathroom with shower. They have an outdoor shower and a backyard game shed which would be great if you were renting during the summer. One of the local town beaches (Cooks Brook) is within walking distance.
Marconi beach is a 12 min drive, downtown Wellfleet 15 min and Provincetown 30 min. We had a great time one day hiking the dune shacks trail from North Truro. Access is right on Rt 6 and was about a 25 min drive from the house. There are many breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurant choices within 10-20 minutes drive. Overall we had a very positive experience and would not hesitate to rent here again.

The house was great. It was clean and spacious. The garage was set up with a large screen TVs with fridge and microwave perfect spot. Was close enough to beach which is a plus. Had a great time!

Nothing to look at from the outside, but inside is light and airy in this house. Very clean, beautifully decorated with a calm ocean-inspired colors. comfortable furniture and well appointed. Lovely deck for outdoor relaxing and dining.
