Get away from it all with a stay in a well-appointed, historical vacation home on Cape Cod.

Situated in the village of Eastham on the bay side of the beautiful New England peninsula, Ambergris Gables sits on a private one acre lot conveniently located near beaches, swimming ponds, hiking and biking trails, shops, restaurants, and even a drive-in movie theatre.

Three bedrooms plus the Gable Room can sleep eight in the main house with Owl's Nest Cottage further able to accommodate two adults and two kids. Three full bathrooms in the main house (including a steam shower and bathtub), plus another full bath in the cottage means there's never a queue for the loo. The outdoor shower is covered by roses and is a delightful way to start the day or rinse off after the beach.

The expansive, well-stocked kitchen and farmhouse dining table (seats eight) allows for family meals together whether you're grilling outside, wok-frying, sous-viding, or picking up tasty treats from one of the many nearby local restaurants. Or dine outside in the landscaped garden after a grueling game of croquet, cornhole or cricket.

Owl's Nest Cottage is situated in a secluded location on the back of the lot. Constructed using reclaimed wood from the barn that previously stood on the property, it features a wrap-around porch, kitchenette, and wood-burning fireplace. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed plus a sleeping nook with a day bed perfect for two children.

Ambergris Gables is a short walk to both Boat Meadow Beach and Rock Harbor - the sunset views from either are not to be missed! A five minute drive gets you to First Encounter Beach, a beautiful spot for floating down the estuary, or if you'd rather play in the waves, Coast Guard Beach is just a ten minute drive away.

    The house is in a great location to beaches and activities and dog friendly! And near one of the dog friendly beaches. The dine in country kitchen is fabulous and they have a great outdoor space - all wonderful for large family gatherings either inside or out. Nick and Trina are very responsive and friendly and are very keen on making sure your stay in Eastham is fun and worry free.

    It was a wonderful property, with lots of rooms, fantastic bathrooms, an incredible kitchen/dining area, and beautiful natural outdoor areas for dining or relaxing that offer solace & privacy… and tho the home is antique, the many amenities are modern and convenient.     A spacious, charming, and lovely stay!

    We had the BEST stay at Ambergris Gables. The home was charming, had lots of character, and plenty of space for our party. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and were so kind and friendly to work with. Any questions we had were answered immediately.

    The kitchen is beautiful and very functional, the main bathroom is fabulous with a steam shower, and the back cottage is so adorable and perfect for parties with a few couples or groups.

    The home has AC and was plenty cool enough during our mid summer stay.
    The location is near the rotary, grocery stores, nauset beach, and easy to get to other parts of the cape.

    Our group has rented MANY airbnbs for vacations, and I HIGHLY recommend staying here!! Can't say enough good things about how much we loved this home. Thank you Nick!!
