For a romantic getaway in a serene, cozy atmosphere, the newly remodeled studio apartment is located at proximity to nine bayside beaches as well as two National Seashore Ocean beaches and three fresh water ponds. The Wellfleet Audubon Sanctuary is nearby as well as the Wellfleet cinema and its Drive-In theatre. There are plenty of restaurants to chose from in Eastham, three gas stations, two banks and two local markets as well as three fish markets. The Cape Cod Rail Trail bicycle path is five minutes away and there are bicycle rental places beside it for your convenience. There are many walking trails for which a map is provided as well.
Furthermore each town has their own celebration events every year, The Portuguese Festival in Provincetown is a not to miss event which takes place from June 23 to 26, 2023, The Cape Cod Hydrangea festival from July 8 to the 17, Eastham has the Eastham Windmill Parade and weekend events in September, The Wellfleet Oyster Festival which takes place in mid-October, the Truro Treasures weekend which takes place September 16 to 18 and the Harwich Cranberry Festival Artisan Market July 10, August 13 and 14, September 17 and 18. The apartment:
The entrance to the studio apartment is located in the back of the house. It can be accessed through a path in front of the house that leads to landscape steps on either side of the house which is illuminated by solar lamps at night. The door is located right next to the outdoor shower. As you enter, to your left is the kitchen sink with a butcher block counter and cabinets above which contain the dishes. Next to it, a shelf is where the microwave oven stands. Besides it, is the closet which houses the washer and dryer. The bathroom is next to it and has a full shower, toilet, vanity and a small cabinet above the toilet. A linen closet on the opposite wall of the bathroom is where all the linens, beach and bath towels, extra blankets and pillows and a cooler, are stored. There is also a portable drier, a broom/ dust pan and a swifter.
The dining table is located adjacent to the linen closet . Next to it, is a little dresser on which stands a toaster oven. Opposite the linen closet is a kitchen cart where you will find utensils and cooking utensils in the drawers. Pots, a tea pot and a wooden salad bowl are stored in the cupboards underneath it.
Above it, a bookshelf with a selection of books is provided for your reading pleasure, if you should chose to.
Nestled in the little alcove besides the bed, there is a dresser and a closet where you can store your clothes .
A new queen size bed will provide a good and restful night sleep.
On the right of the entrance, you will find a full size refrigerator and a stove for your cooking needs. The pans are stored in the stove drawer.
Nestled in between, there is a little pantry where the coffee, filters, tea, sugar, salt and pepper, some spices, ketchup, mustard, some breakfast items can be found.
Further along is a loveseat where you can read comfortably or watch television which is on the wall beside the bed.
Furthermore, there is a wonderful cedar plank outside shower right next to the entrance of the apartment ,covered by a deck and sheltered by a shed on the other side: making it very private. This is the ultimate experience of living by the sea. You can wash off sand and salt from a day at the beach. A faucet on the back can be used to rinse your feet as well. Beach chairs are also provided.
Besides the shower, you will find a terraced area with a table and two chairs where you can enjoy a cup of coffee/ tea or a cocktail to your liking and a BBQ charcoal grill for your cooking needs . Charcoal will be kept in a small plastic container nearby.
There is an enclosed area to the right where you can enjoy a peaceful evening by a fire pit. The wood will be provided as well.
It is a perfect getaway for a single person or a couple wanting to escape into a serene, coastal refuge.
There is also ample space for parking in the driveway. An A/C unit will help to keep you cool on hot summer days and provides heat in the cooler season to keep you warm and cozy. read more show less
