    Great Stay!

This was a great place to spend the week on Cape Cod! The location is very convenient to many attractions while still on a quiet side street. The house was very comfortable, just as pictured. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking meals. Our group of 6 loved it!

Catherine thank you for letting me know that our home suited your expectation - there is nothing more satisfying then knowing our home had the intended effect-to provide an anchor and respite for a wonderful memory of your time on the Cape. You and yours are welcome anytime-I was notified that you left the premises in wonderful condition upon departure. Be well - come stay again!

    One week is not enough!

This lovely home on a quiet cul-de-sac was perfect for our family. Our young granddaughters just loved riding their bikes! Close to all we need, just a few minutes from the ocean, the bay and Great Pond. And Janine has thought of everything! The kitchen is very well-appointed with all the conveniences and left nothing to be desired. Spotless and clean, towels and linens provided, and the beds were made when we arrived!

Thank you, Janine, for sharing your Cape house with us. We had a great vacation in our happy place…Eastham! show more show less

    Perfect Cape Stay

This is the perfect home for a week's stay on the cape. Located within walking distance to the beach was perfect to catch the sunset or for a full-on beach day. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    Lovely Stay!

This was a lovely place to stay while my friends and I were on the cape. The house is spacious and well appointed. The owners were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Also it's in an incredible location. Not only is it close to the beach but the National Sea Shore is right nearby, with miles of trails to explore. 10/10 would recommend, and hope to be back again.

We have been visiting Cape Cod for 50+ years. My mother, the property owner, cannot make the trip any longer, and wanted to offer this lovely low-key home for guests to enjoy once or every Summer. She and my father worked hard their entire lives to be able to build this home. I hope that the joy and relaxation you experience here are every bit as memorable to you for a lifetime, as the beautiful memories I have and hold dear. I am so very happy that you are considering renting this home - wishing you a truly wonderful time in Eastham and looking forward to hearing about your trip.

What is special about this property?
What I think you'll notice most about this home is how private and peaceful the property is, decorated comfortably with cozy but modern furnishings. A screened-in porch and outside deck make alone time, even when the house is full, easy and stress-free. Sitting at 'the forearm' (slightly above middle of the Cape) you can travel to Wellfleet in less than 10 minutes and either Provincetown or Hyannis in 25. Though private, it is literally minutes from great restaurants, local markets, many salt and freshwater beaches, riding trails, lighthouses, sightseeing or just sitting on a bench or the sand somewhere and daydreaming.

What is special about your town?
Eastham is the ''Gateway to Cape Cod National Seashore'' It is the same place where, more than 300 years ago, the Mayflower Pilgrims had their first impromptu meet-and-greet with the local Native Americans. In the early 1960s, the Cape Cod National Seashore was established as a US National Park-40,000+ acres of Outer Cape land became off-limits to development, including large portions of Eastham and the towns around it.

The town is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on its easterly coastline and by Cape Cod Bay to the west.

For visitors who're thinking of touring around the Cape, the town's location is pretty much perfect - an equal distance from both Hyannis (24 miles) and Provincetown (23 miles).

Eastham is the most convenient of all Cape Cod towns. It is the perfect jumping-off point for a ferry day trip to Martha's Vineyard, a whale watch in Provincetown, or one of the last drive-in theaters in America in Wellfleet.

Visit Coast Guard Beach. This Eastham gem regularly appears on Dr. Beach's list of Top 10 Beaches in the USA.

Visit the Eastham Windmill. Built in 1680, this is the oldest working windmill on the Cape. The windmill is open for daily tours. A gala ''Windmill Weekend'' festival highlights Cape Cod's September events calendar.

Have a hankerin' for a bucket of fresh steamers or a big bowl of homemade clam chowder? Eastham waters hold some of Cape Cod's tastiest steamers, quahog clams, and oysters. Get your shellfishing permit and dig your own.

    Enjoy!
