There are several great kettle ponds in between...perfect for rinsing off after a day at the ocean. Eastham also offers miles of bike trails, and hiking trails. The town is bordered by Orleans to the south, and Wellfleet to the north. There are great restaurants nearby and fun local shops to explore.

***Please note, stairs to marsh are steep. If you plan to bring a kayak or paddleboard, there is easy access two houses down the street to put them in the water.

    Better than the Pictures

We had a delightful time last week at this picturesque home and setting. The entire experience is trancendent. The views from the living room and backyard can only be captured in person. The access to the bike and walking trails make the entire experience one of a kind. One of the most delightful parts of the entire vacation was the absolute serenity of the entire area and in particular the absolute quiet of the home and backyard only interuppted by the "laughing" gulls and their fellow wildlife. Heather was great and happy to help in anyway to make the entire visit exceptional. show more show less

    Heaven on Earth

Oh my goodness! This is one spectacular house and location. We stayed in February and woke to the sunrise and stunning ocean views every morning. The house is located IN the National Seashore. We took walks to Coast Guard beach and the visitor center everyday on paths a short distance from the house. There are steps leading to the marsh for waterside hikes. We are looking forward to coming back this summer for kayaking! It really is the perfect spot. The house is lovely with comfortable beds and lots of room to spread out and relax in. There was everything we needed for a great and relaxing vacation. The home owners were gracious and accommodating and easy to work with. We are already looking forward to our next visit! show more show less

    Amazing Cape Vacation

We've been vacationing on The Cape nearly every summer for over 20 years, and had one of our best experiences staying in this truly magnificent Eastham beach home. The location is great! Close to everything (Restaurants, shopping, bike path, etc.), and easy access to some of the best beaches The Cape has to offer. Part of the Cape Cod National Seashore, Coast Guard Beach is little more than a stones throw away, and Nauset, Marconi, Cahoon Hollow and many others are only a short drive. The ocean views and sunsets are really spectacular. One of our favorite things to do while we were there was wading through tidal pools at low tide in the salt water marsh the house backs up to. There are stairs behind the house down to the marsh that make access very convenient. The house is roomy and comfortable and gives off a good beach vibe. The kitchen is well laid out and made preparing family meals easy. We will definitely be bringing the family back to this home again in the future. show more show less

    Beautiful Getaway

I stayed at this inviting home with a friend last summer. It is the perfect place to have long conversations with good friends curled up in the comfy living room at night, over coffee in the cheery kitchen in the morning, or while walking on the nearby hiking trail. The area is stunning and peaceful as it is the National Seashore- but it is close to cute towns so that you can go out for more social adventures any time. Heather is a super-friendly and responsive host. I didn't want to leave this charming place and I look forward to returning! show more show less

We had the best stay at this lovely home. We enjoyed being close to Coast Guard beach and the bike path, and hiking trails. The view is outstanding, and the home is inviting and comfortable. The beds are great, AC works great, and I loved cooking in the kitchen overlooking the Nauset Marsh and Atlantic beaches. One night we had a clam back from the clams we found right in front of the house in the marsh! My kids loved kayaking to the outer beach. It's truly a lovely spot. My family and I plan to return every year! show more show less

Our home has been enjoyed by our family for four generations now and holds very special memories for everyone. Our grandfather purchased the home before the National Park was instated, and it is one of the few privately owned homes with views of the Atlantic Ocean in Eastham.

What is special about this property?
The most stunning thing about this property is the view...it overlooks Nauset Marsh, and the inlet. Gorgeous sunrises, and marsh access. We have enjoyed canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and clamming in the marsh. At low tide you can walk across the marsh and even walk to the outer beach! A true nature-lovers paradise. It has also been a very artistic place and has inspired several children's books and art projects throughout the years.

What is special about your town?
Eastham is the most centrally located town on the upper Cape. Within a few miles you can enjoy ocean, or bayside beaches, or any one of the numerous kettle ponds. There are great shops and restaurants, and is an easy drive to charming Cape Cod towns. The National Seashore Park Visitor Center offers an interesting museum, outdoor concerts in the summer, and miles of biking and hiking trails.
