We spent a peaceful and restorative month of May at the Red Cottage. Easily accessible from the main roads and a short distance to town centers, the cottage is beautiful, cozy, and restful, with a redone modern interior providing plenty of seating, new appliances, and a well-equipped kitchen that was a joy to use. The bedrooms are spacious with ample closet spaces, one offering a reading nook, the other a desk, both delightful bonuses. We especially loved the enclosed porch, perfect for sitting out with a morning coffee or a book. The weather was still a bit too cool for us to take advantage of the outdoor shower, but it would be fantastic in the summer, especially with the private beach access a ten-minute walk away. We enjoyed our daily stroll around the neighborhood, the beautiful sunset over the beach, and the little free libraries with their changing collections of books. Sandy and Becky were friendly and responsive, and we enjoyed their personal touches around the cottage. Let me echo the previous reviews, they touched on all the right notes. My compliments to the owners for a first class renovation. Welcoming, modern and immaculate are the words that come to mind. Not your typical rental, it's like walking into a new house.

Love the central location, just a short drive to National Seashore beaches, restaurants and shopping. A family with young children can enjoy the bay beaches nearby and Wiley Park (fresh water lake and playground) is less than a mile down the road.

We spent a week at this absolutely charming cottage in Eastham. Close to everything and tucked away behind beautiful trees, the newly renovated (hard to find on the Cape anything that is recently renovated) cottage is everything you need for a great week or two at the Cape. The cottage is well appointed without being cluttered. Definite perks you find in very few rentals is a full and new washer and dryer, ceiling fans and air conditioning. The bedrooms are both a good size and the place felt larger than it was. There is also a good size screened in porch so you can spend comfortable mosquito-less nights outside but without the bug spray! The backyard also has a lovely patio with tables and chairs as well as a BBQ and a MUST outdoor shower.

This is not a stuffy old and moldy Cape rental that you usually get. This is a homey and modern cottage with all the amenities to feel right at home while keeping that Cape charm you want and expect. The owners are absolutely lovely and responsive with questions you may have. We have rented for over 15 years in The Eastham area and this cottage is by far the best we have ever experienced. What a beautiful cozy and extremely comfortable cabin for an escape! The inside is finished beautifully. We especially loved the screen porch and outdoor shower. And appreciated having a washer/dryer to be able to pack light. Close to many beaches on the bay and ocean side, and so many great restaurants. Loved this place and can't wait to come back soon!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this charming two-bedroom cottage in Eastham, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cottage is spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing Cape escape.

One of the true highlights is the access to a private beach—just a short stroll away, and never crowded. We spent our mornings walking along the shore and our evenings watching the sunset in peace. The screened-in porch was our favorite spot to enjoy coffee or a glass of wine, surrounded by the sounds of nature but protected from the bugs.

Inside, everything you could need is provided. The full-sized washer and dryer made packing light a breeze, and the ceiling fans and air conditioning kept the cottage perfectly comfortable, even on warmer days. There's reliable WiFi too, so staying connected (if you choose to!) is easy. And nothing beats the outdoor shower after a day at the beach—pure Cape Cod magic.

What truly made this stay special, though, were the hosts. They are warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Whether we needed restaurant recommendations, beach tips, or rainy day ideas, they had thoughtful suggestions that made our trip even better.
