Our comfortable and cozy home is referred to by our many returning guests as "Flamingo Cottage.” It is in a friendly neighborhood & centrally located: about a half-mile from fresh-water Great Pond beach, and about one mile from First Encounter Beach on Cape Cod Bay, and the Cape Cod National Seashore visitors" center, which is the gateway to walking & biking trails to the ocean and Coast Guard Beach. Several golf courses are within 10 miles. Within a 10-minute drive are the Rock Harbor fishing fleet and charter boats, three miniature golf courses, the Wellfleet Drive-In & Cinema, and the best flea market on Cape Cod.

The Cape Cod Rail Trail is around the corner and it"s an easy walk to our beautiful Eastham Public Library and a neighborhood grocery/liquor store. There are fabulous restaurants in Eastham and, within 15 minutes, a variety of choice places to eat in Orleans and Wellfleet.

Relax on our private, fenced patio with gas and charcoal grills, dining table and chairs, chaise lounges and an outdoor shower. The cottage is fully and tastefully furnished, with a well equipped kitchen that includes a microwave, regular and Keurig coffee makers, waffle maker, and plenty of dishes, silverware, glassware and utensils. The washer and dryer are in the basement, accessible through the bulkhead. <br /> <br /> There are two bedrooms: one queen bed, two twin beds; both have fans and window AC. There is a AC/heat "split" in the living / dining area for added comfort. Sheets and towels (and beach towels) are provided, as well as a supply of paper products and cleaning supplies. <br /> <br /> The home has Xfinity TV / Internet, DVD player, and smart TVs in the living room and queen bedroom. read more show less

    My son and I loved the flamingo cottage! After years of staying on the Cape we both agreed this was our favorite! Lots of amenities made for a super relaxing stay. Everything in the cottage was well appointed and exceptionally clean. The backyard patio area is very private with lounge chairs and an outdoor shower for maximum relaxation. Debbie was a wonderful host. My son and I had a blast and look forward to staying here in the future!

    Our Cape Cod home away from home.

    Flamingo Cottage is truly our vacation home away from home. Your cottage is only minutes away from beaches and great dining venues. The Eastham Superette is around the corner where you can pick up the paper, beer, wine, liquor, deli and some groceries. The Eastham library is also around the corner and is a must to visit. As you pull into the driveway you are greeted by a friendly flock of Flamingos dotted throughout the beautiful, well-kept garden. Right from the start you begin to smile. Plenty of parking for 2-3 cars on the stone driveway.
    Check in is easy as you only have to open the front door. There you are welcomed into a well- kept, immaculate and bright space. Plenty of room for 4 in the common living area with a big screen t.v., and open kitchen with eat in dining. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. There are 2 bedrooms, a larger room with a queen bed with a large screen t.v. and a door that opens to a lovely side yard. Another bedroom has 2 twin beds with a closet. All bedding is in excellent, clean condition. All rooms have air-conditioning if you need it. There is another smaller room that is used for more closet space and storage. The cottage has a large full bath with tub and shower.
    All linens are included with this rental and are in top quality condition. The back patio includes lounge chairs, a table with umbrella and chairs, a gas grill and even a clothes line for your wet suits. There is an outdoor enclosed hot/cold shower as well. Our host also includes a washer and dryer in the basement for your washing needs. Access is from an outside bulkhead and is well lit for your safety.
    Your hostess Debby has equipped this lovely cottage for all your vacation needs. After 14 years we could not imagine staying anywhere else on the Cape.
