Recently purchased, renovated, and transformed by Garden South Interior Design, this Cape Cod vacation rental is situated upon one secluded acre. Bridge Meadow is comprised of a 3-bedroom main house, a spacious 1-bedroom converted barn with a private garden patio, a small fenced-in area for pets, and a separate lounging/game shed with a loft.
Set within naturally landscaped grounds with expansive meadow and marsh views, this is the perfect place to take advantage of Cape Cod summer days. There are numerous outdoor activities at the home, including bocce, pickleball, and basketball courts, a large wood-burning fire pit, an outdoor sauna, and plenty of seating throughout the property so you can just sit back and relax.
Located at the southern edge of Eastham, Bridge Meadow provides its guests with the privacy of a compound and the convenience of a ten-minute drive to downtown Orleans with its charming restaurants, coffee and wine shops, and various local retail venues. The property is less than a half-mile, or a ten-minute walk, to Cape Cod Bay and a three-minute drive to the Cape Cod Rail Trail for biking, hiking, or a leisurely stroll.

Bridge Meadow welcomes your family and friends with wood beam ceilings, fireplaces, whimsical bedrooms, an English library, a family room/media center, indoor and outdoor kitchens, and dining areas, all of which capture the quintessential Cape aesthetic. The main house blends classic Cape Cod charm with modern updating. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, crisp cabinetry, wood counters, and a dedicated coffee station. The English library provides a dramatic retreat for a game of backgammon or cards, reading or watching the morning news, with forest green walls, leather seating, and built-in cabinetry. Upstairs, two queen bedrooms and one king bedroom allow for a restful night of sleep with comfortable linens and blackout shades. Two full bathrooms, one on each floor, include marble surfaces and brass accents. Downstairs, leading into a mudroom, is a family/media room perfect for sprawling out to enjoy the latest movie or game night, or just having space for the kids to play on a rainy day.

A spacious ~1,000 square foot barn converted into a guest house is finishing its renovation and will be ready by Memorial Day. The first floor includes a large dining, kitchen and living area (yes, there’s also a big screen television), and a wrought-iron fireplace/stove for those chilly nights. The second-floor king-sized bed with a full bath ensures privacy for those needing a respite from family and friends.

Ideally situated at the Eastham/Orleans border, guests enjoy some of the Cape’s best beaches, trails, and nature experiences. Spend the day exploring the Cape Cod National Seashore, riding or walking the Cape Cod Rail Trail, visiting Salt Pond, or heading out to nearby bay and ocean beaches. If one were to look up Cape Cod in the dictionary, Bridge Meadow would be front and center.
