My husband, Patrick, our friend Mark and I - high school friends from Connecticut - bought this home together. I went to the Cape for 2 weeks every August with my family as a child and those weeks were the best times in my life. When we could drive, we would visit the Cape as often as possible, winter and summer. We rented houses or went camping at Nickerson. Patrick proposed on my favorite childhood beach.
When we had children, we continued to rent houses in Eastham with friends and family every summer.
Eastham feels like home and is my favorite place in the world.

What is special about this property?
Our home is filled with special touches that make it truly relaxing. One of our favorite features is the short, peaceful walk to the beach, surrounded by the scent of beach roses and the sound of birds in the meadow—and no stairs when you arrive. Inside, the reverse floor plan keeps the bedrooms cool, while the bright, open upstairs is perfect for gathering and enjoying the deck. Tucked back from the road and surrounded by woods, it offers a wonderful sense of privacy and calm.

Eastham is a peaceful, convenient town with plenty to enjoy. A charming windmill sits near the well-stocked Superette, with larger grocery stores and other amenities nearby. The area offers easy access to the bike trail, National Seashore, ponds, and the Wellfleet Nature Center. Enjoy local favorites like Arnold's seafood, family fun at the Red Barn, and a nearby drive-in theater with a flea market. Whether you prefer relaxing on the beach or exploring shops and activities, Eastham has something for everyone.
