My family and I had a wonderful vacation in Eastham, at this cottage!!

One thing that surprised me was how much room there was in this cottage, much more space than the profile pictures suggest. We vacationed here with another family, friends of ours, and everyone had plenty of room. Altogether, there were 6 of us, which included myself, my wife, my son(age 9), and their family, which consisted of a husband and wife and their teenage son.
One concern we had when renting was whether we could provide a private space for the teenager during our stay, because the listing said only 2 bedrooms.

Ideally, we wanted 3 bedrooms, and fortunately, the second television room can also serve as its own Junior-Sized Vacation Suite. The teenager had a whole wing of the home to himself, and the door of the suite opened onto a deck he could also enjoy. There was a door on the opposite side that could be closed off to the common living area. This ensured privacy and a comfortable space for him. In the future, I plan to rent the cottage each year, and when my son gets older, we will let him bring friends because that space would allow it.

Speaking of privacy, one thing I really liked about the setup of the home was that I could watch television in the common living room area late into the night or very early in the morning and not disturb anyone who was sleeping. I also enjoyed the second deck area off the front of the house that contained a path to a fire pit area. We made plenty of s'mores throughout our stay.

Some additional things that made our stay convenient were the laundry room off the back of the home and the outdoor shower in the back of the house. I am familiar with vacationing on Cape Cod, so my family used the outdoor shower exclusively, and the other family showered indoors. Luckily, we had amazing weather all week, and the weather never prohibited us from using the shower outdoors.

Lastly, the beautiful weather made every day of the week a beach day, and with the beach within walking distance, we spent plenty of our time at the beach during our vacation week.

I would recommend this cottage. I really enjoyed our vacation, and I plan to rent it annually going forward.

Best time, awesome location easy to get to the ocean beaches. The cottage is nice and clean and has two decks, ideal for cookouts and morning coffee. Especially liked the fire pit and hammock in the yard. Enjoyed the stroll down to bay beaches to see the fantastic sunsets!

This is the perfect home away from home for our family vacation. We affectionately refer to this house as "The Eastham House". My husband and I have been vacationing here with our three children for years! The location is amazing! We never miss our visit to the Wellfleet Drive-In, the Flea Market, Wellfleet Center, The National Seashore Beaches, Provincetown, and Land Ho in Orleans. It is the perfect spot! A quick walk to three beautiful bayside beaches makes this vacation home a truly hidden gem in a wonderful and friendly neighborhood association. We loved vacationing at this cozy Cape Cod Cottage in Eastham. The house is immaculate and has all the comforts of home, very nicely decorated. The neighborhood is very private and peaceful, such a relaxing stay! Can't wait to return!
