My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week last May for my birthday (sorry for the delayed review!) and had a great time! We somehow managed to have some pretty dismal weather but we made the best of it. The owners actually said it was the coldest May they had seen in years. Happy Birthday to me! :) We still managed to have a great time and it was very nice to go during a far less crowded time of year.

The space is small but works just fine for a couple. The owners are super sweet and helpful, and honestly they provided any and everything we needed. There really isn't an appliance you can think of that isn't tucked nicely away just waiting for ya. The beach is steps away and the little rooftop area is such a nice perk. We sat up there drinking wine and taking in the view just as soon as we unpacked. I personally wasn't thrilled with the futon mattress but my boyfriend didn't mind. The area is great! Some nice restaurants and great gift shops. I would love to go back during some warmer and sunnier weather and really get to enjoy all this place has to offer. And eat more seafood!!! I stayed at Steve and Sue's place for a week in June and had a wonderful time. The place was clean and comfortable. The rental is ideally located and wonderful to come back to after a nice long afternoon at the beach or a bike ride. Steve and Sue were wonderful hosts- just the right mix of helpful and respectful of one's privacy. I would recommend it for one person or a couple who enjoys being close as the room is small.

This cabana is very clean and comfortable and has many amenities that one usually doesn't find in small rental cottages, including air-conditioning, a wide-screen TV, a full-size refrigerator, and a full-size washer and dryer. The futon bed is incredibly comfortable--I slept like a baby every night! The rental also includes full use of the yard and patio (with a grill, picnic tables, lounge chairs, etc.) as well as of the roof-top deck (with a glorious view of the bay!) on top of the owner's house, which is in front of the cabana. The location is the best of any cottage I've ever rented on the Cape: right across from the beautiful miles-long Surf Drive Beach. The owner provides beach chairs and umbrellas, a cooler, etc. for use on the beach--making going to the beach a breeze. The owners are extremely nice, friendly, and accommodating. They went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, to respect my privacy, and to allow me to have my relatives over for cocktails on the roof-top deck. There is easy parking as well. Plus the cottage is located close to the town of Falmouth (an easy walk or drive), which has wonderful restaurants and shopping. In all honesty, this cottage was the best deal of all the rentals I've ever done on the Cape. I definitely plan to rent it again. show more show less
