If you are looking for a relaxing beach vacation, look no further. The Gwynne home is a lovely historic property with all the modern conveniences that you need for a great family vacation. The home has an incredible wrap around porch that you may never leave. The well -appointed kitchen and outdoor grill will allow for memorable meals which can be eaten at the two built-in picnic tables on the porch.

You are a short walk from the private beach which has a swim out dock and gentle waves for little ones. The area has a playground and tennis courts too! If you choose to venture out, the house is located near a local winery, brewery, the Martha's Vineyard ferry and several restaurants.

Lovely traditional Cape Cod summer home built in 1874 with historic bones and details but all the conveniences you need for modern living near the shore. A great house for extended families as there is plenty of room to come together, as well as the space to find time apart. Two separate decks on either side of the house with picnic tables, perfect for lobsters and clams outside, a wrap around porch for a quiet sit with a book, living room with fireplace, dining room and small separate sitting room. The beach is a short walk away and the outdoor shower was a real treat after a day at the beach.Clean, well maintained, everything in working order, wifi available if you must. Kitchen is fully equipped, with a small island that can seat 8 for breakfast or to gather together to plan the day. Wonderful host family is attentive to all questions and needs. I can’t think of a thing we needed and did not find in a closet, shed or bookshelf. This house is tucked away in a quiet private community away from tourists, even at the busiest time of the year. People in the community we met by chance were gracious and friendly.This home was a pleasure. I wish it was ours to keep, but we will have to settle for a week another time.
A short drive to Falmouth town for restaurants and shops. We tried our hand at Candlestick bowling and tried a few of the restaurants. show more show less

The house is spotless, well equipped, modern, but with an unfussy Cape Cod beachy feel. Dining area outdoors on a the back deck was perfect for messy but delicious lobsters. One of the bedrooms has access via a trap door and ladder to the kitchen. You can imagine how much the children loved that. Oh yes, and the outdoor shower was delightful, totally private for the most modest among us, but a great bathing experience in sparkling sunlight or twinkling stars for the adventurous too. Other amenities include a stack of board games and a large collection of Legos just in case you hit a rainy day...which you probably won't need. And of course, minutes from beach, tennis, sailing and biking. show more show less
