Welcome to your Cape escape! This much loved cottage is just waiting for you to enjoy. Located on the Maravista peninsula close to Bristol, Falmouth Heights, and Menauhant beaches, this home provides easy access to the salt water inlet of Great Pond, perfect for warm water swimming and kayaking.

Relax on the spacious deck that provides plenty of seating for entertaining or unwind playing lawn games in the secluded back yard. The adjacent slate patio features a gas grill for barbequing your summer favorites and provides the perfect space for enjoying an evening around the fire pit.

A renovated kitchen features quartz countertops, new dishwasher, and stainless steel appliances with plenty of space for meal time preparation. The bathroom has been recently updated with quartz counter tops and subway tile bath surround.

Kick back in the comfortable living room, with sectional seating and 50'' smart TV. All three bedrooms are generously proportioned. Master bedroom contains queen bed, and smart TV. Bedroom 2: two double beds. Bedroom 3: 2 single beds. All bedrooms have window A/C units.

The property is 7 houses from Great Pond beach and walking path. The water is shallow, calm and warmer than the ocean, perfect for small children and kayaking. This beach is primarily used by residents of the street, very quiet, a great spot to avoid the crowds. The walking path along the pond's perimeter is very scenic and a quick 3/4 mile walk to the ocean.

The public boat ramp is just four blocks away, providing an ideal spot to launch your boat and venture out to the surrounding islands. The home is located on a quiet dead end street providing a safe area for children to ride bikes and is one house away from the town park and open field. Home includes beach chairs and plenty of yard and board games. The unfinished basement features a ping pong table for those who like a little competition!

This cottage is in close proximity to shopping conveniences: groceries and liquor story, 1 mile walk or drive. Main Street Falmouth known for its cute shops and variety of excellent restaurants, is 2 miles from the property.

Looking to explore? Be sure to check out the quaint village of Woods Hole with the science aquarium and seaside restaurants. Mashpee Commons is a short 15 mile drive to high-end shopping and restaurants. For a relaxing day excursion, head out to Martha’s Vineyard via the ferry terminal located just a mile away.

Wonderful rental

This was the perfect home for our week on the Cape! The house is located on a very quiet street and close to everything. It was well equipped and very comfortable. We loved the yard and fire pit and the deck was spacious. We would highly recommend this rental to all of our friends and family!

My husband and I wanted a quiet and restful get-away and this was exactly it. The house is roomy and is located in a great location - quiet street - access to many local sights. We had everything we needed and Ronell made sure we were comfortable and offered tips to local restaurants. It was hard to leave :) - such warm hospitality!

Relaxing and Refreshing

We had such a relaxing a refreshing stay! The location is great, loved the walks to the beach and enjoyed the private backyard and firepit. It was also great for working remotely and virtual school. We felt very comfortable, the house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Great house and great location. Falmouth has several beaches that you pay for parking on the day which makes it much simpler than organizing beach stickers for the car. There is also a lake with a small beach that our children (4 and 6) absolutely loved - Grews Pond. The house was great and had tons more amenities than was listed which was a wonderful surprise - everything you might need for a day at the beach. Ronell was a great host and very quick to respond to messages. Highly recommend this house and Cape Cod town show more show less

Our stay at Lee's home was exactly what we had hoped. The house set up allowed space for kids and for adults, as well as ideal sleeping arrangements for our family. The house was very clean and the furnishings were a great mix of beachy and mid-century. We loved how conveniently it was located. Lee is a great host and made sure we were settled in and comfortable. I look forward to staying at this lovely home again!

As both a current realtor and former travel agent, I'm a tough critic when it comes to lodging but Ronell's place passed the test! Nothing was overlooked ~ all you need to bring are clothes! Everything else is waiting there for you! We especially loved the large living room and kitchen for visiting with family . Ronell also helped us graciously with an unexpected situation and it was a holiday weekend! We highly recommend her place.

The home is fabulous, very clean and well thought out. Location is great - it is about about a 20 minute brisk walk to the beach. Ping pong table in the basement provided a lot of entertainment. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family purchased this home in the summer of 2016 after vacationing in Falmouth for several years. We chose Falmouth for the ease of a shorter commute from the Boston area compared to other areas on the cape, the adorable downtown with its shops and fabulous restaurants, and the ten beautiful beaches.
We considered it a great find when we stumbled upon the Maravista area. The area is quiet and well established. Flanked by two salt water inlets, Maravista provides easy access for kayaking, warm water swimming and a public boat ramp. Every morning and evening our family walks or rides bicycles along the Great Pond path which connects to the public ocean beach.
One of the reasons we chose this property is for the incredible yard and gardens. The previous owners planted various perennials which bloom throughout the summer. Hydrangeas of various colors are sprinkled throughout the yard. We love coming back from the beach and lounging on the deck and playing bocce ball, and other fun yard games! The dead end street is perfect for our sons to ride bikes and skate boards, and shoot hoops. They also enjoy kicking the ball around park area just two houses away.
Since purchasing the home we’ve updated the kitchen and bath with all modern appliances and decorated the home for a beachy, mid-century vibe to create a peaceful feel while staying true to the home’s era. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have!
