All around great experience! Home owners were very thorough with check-in and stay instructions as well as recommendations for local cafes, restaurants and beaches. The house and yard were very clean on arrival and fully stocked with appliances/utensils and beach necessities. It was so relaxing to be able to sit on the back porch with the dogs and kids in a fully fenced, well maintained yard! Walking distance to beaches and a short drive to the town center with restaurants and small shops. We will certainly be back in the near future. show more show less

Our family of 6 along with our dog stayed here for a week this August and loved it! The house is extremely clean and beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with anything needed to make your meals along with all the beach equipment you would need. Our dog loved playing in the fenced in yard and sitting out on the deck with us. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, great for taking our dog for walks including the walking path to the beach which is a very pretty and scenic area. Valerie is an amazing host who provided us with lots of local information and a gift card to a local bakery that was also delicious! Highly recommend it!

My family and I (5 adults, 1 dog) stayed here for a week this Summer and it was hands down our favorite home we have ever rented in Falmouth with the most gracious hosts! The house was the perfect size for us, was impeccably clean and just beautiful. We were so grateful to be able to have our dog with us for the week and he loved lounging on the deck and playing in the yard. We also loved being able to take him for nice walks along the bay path as well. The bay at the end of the street was just a short walk and we relaxed there on days we didn't feel like going to the main beaches - fun to watch the boats go in and out too. The location was perfect on a quiet dead end street while being just a short drive to shops and restaurants. We really had a fabulous time and hope to book this home again next year! My family stayed in this wonderful home for one week in July. We are a family of 5- two adults, two children, ages 8 and 12 and our beloved pup! The home was beautifully decorated, clean, and had more included than any rental I have ever experienced! The small private beach and boat launch area is just at the end of the block (peaceful!) and the paddle boards and kayaks provided are phenomenal. We paddle boarded 3 out of the 7 days we were there! The beds are incredibly comfortable, the living area is ample and the small touches like leaving dog bowls and leashes was incredible! The fenced in yard was our favorite part. Our pup could run around while we sat outside and enjoyed a cocktail or used the outdoor shower or played games. The owners were readily available - just a text away- when we had a few questions that needed to be answered. With the exception of just needing to bring our own sheets and towels plus toiletries/ personal belongings, everything else was included. I ended up bringing way too much of what was already there because in the past, I have rented houses that came with nothing! The yard is incredibly well-maintained, the street has beautiful houses on it, and the accessibility to the water and to walking and biking paths is incredible. Everything was super dog friendly. We loved our week at the Sanctuary on Great Bay. This home was immaculately clean, (I have never seen an oven so spotless) perfectly located and adorable. The salt water pond is a stone's throw away and a walk on the beach is the perfect way to start or end your day. Val was extremely responsive and accommodating. The house had EVERYTHING you could ever need from beach chairs, kayaks, extra leashes, to an airfryer. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about the house, the location or the owners. It was more like staying at a friends house when they weren't home than a rental. show more show less

Beautiful house! We stayed here for the first time this year and will be booking again for next year. The house is updated, very clean, and a perfect location for walking and swimming. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, even giving us a gift card to her favorite local bakery!!! We couldn't have been happier as renters and strongly recommend this property for anyone looking for a great Falmouth location beach house!

We are a family of 4 (5 including our dog) with two you children. This house offered everything we could need including wonderful hosts and an amazing location. For anyone not familiar with the Maravista area, it is truly a perfect spot in Falmouth. We loved walking along the bay everyday and even down to the ocean. There are some great spots for shopping and food close by too.

The Sanctuary on Great Bay far exceeded my expectations. Val is a thoughtful and gracious host and provided us with all the information we needed upon arrival, including restaurant and activity recommendations. The house is clean and comfortable with modern furnishings.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to feel right at home. It was a great convenience to have a washer and dryer during our longer stay. On sunny days, we also enjoyed the privacy of the outdoor space, where we could chill on the back deck. I absolutely loved taking daily walks along the Great Bay path. The panoramic view of Great Pond and smell of spring blooms never gets old. For anyone looking to stay in the upper Cape, this location is incredible with its beautiful surroundings and easy access to Falmouth beaches and Rt 28 shopping and restaurants. This was our 2nd stay on Oak Street & we just love how quiet the neighborhood is. The house comfortably fit 4 of us & our pup. A close walk to Great Bay, which is a hidden gem! Close proximity to the beaches, downtown, restaurants & shops.
