New Silver Beach at its finest! This restored cottage is just 2 houses away from the Tea Room, tennis courts & harbor, and 4 houses to New Silver Beach (Ocean View entrance).

What a wonderful restored cottage, 4 bedrooms all on the 2nd floor, 3 queen beds, and one twin. Please note this cottage is over 100 years old, steps back then were a lot steeper than they are now, so the stairs going up to the 2nd floor are narrow. And, over the past 100 years there has been a little settling... so the floors, newly refinished in 2019, have a slight slope to them!

Everything inside the house is new from 2020 on. New furniture, including a huge living room couch that can easily hold all 7 of you, huge natural edge dining table that can hold 10, restored kitchen, all new bedroom furniture including mattresses, new roof and some new siding in 2020.

Every room in the house has window AC units except the bathrooms. New Weber grill June 2020. Large picnic table in the yard, and a fire pit. We have a large 75" TV in the living room with a Roku - so connect to your favorite streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ etc. Note that we don"t have cable - just access to your streaming services. Wi-Fi is strong, provided by xfinity. <br /> <br /> About the bathrooms: Main floor has a small half bath and the only indoor shower in the house. Second floor has a slightly larger half bath. Outside there is a fully enclosed outdoor shower that most people tend to use instead of the indoor shower.<br /> <br /> New Silver Beach is an association beach, life-guarded during regular hours, and is a wonderful community. Besides the beach, enjoy harbor jumping, playing basketball or tennis in the recently refurbished courts, get lunch or a snack at the Tea Room (if/when they are open), no need to get in your car! But if you do, so much is nearby including the 11 mile Shining Sea Bike Path! Also OLD Silver Beach - one of the Cape"s most popular beaches - is just 2 miles away - but WHY go there when New Silver Beach is a two minute walk?<br /> <br /> we can and MAY consider your small pet. We do charge a $100 pet fee for your pre-approved animal - NO animals of any kind are allowed without written permission from me.     Wow. We absolutely loved this home. The front porch and the flowers were so inviting. Inside your greeted with a beautiful sectional and massive dining room table. Proximity to the beach was perfect.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our extended stay at the property - it is a charming/traditional Cape Cod cottage, with a number of modern enhancements - just the right blend of what we were looking to experience.

    Steps from the beach, plenty of outdoor space, and many of the conveniences/amenities we looked for in day to day living while on vacation.

    The owners were very responsive to questions during the stay and its obvious they take pride in the property by the way they keep it maintained.

    New Silver Cottage
    September 2024

    We spent the last week of August (2024) for the second summer in a row in the breezy, open, comfortable cottage a few houses up from New Silver beach. The proximity to the beach is a standout feature. Just a quick stroll away we were able to enjoy morning walks, quiet afternoons and sunset views without any hassle. The area felt safe and welcoming, perfect for families. Inside, the living space is both comfortable and inviting. The furnishings are well-appointed, with a very large, comfortable couch that made it easy to relax after a day in the sun. The open layout maximized the space, creating a warm and airy atmosphere. I particularly loved the wrap around front porch where we spent most evenings and mornings before heading to the beach. While there are many great restaurants a short drive from the cottage, it is fully equipped if cooking in is your thing. Additionally, the cottage had all the essentials, including Wi-Fi and a large TV, which was perfect for all. It's the perfect spot for a relaxing or fun filled week on the cape with the family. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach escape. show more show less

    This was a great place to call home
    July 2023

    We had such a nice week last year. The house was clean, close to the beach, we loved sitting outside on the porch at night, it truly had everything we needed to prepare meals and most of all we appreciated being able to bring our dog. We will certainly come back again!!
