Description

Description

Welcome to your beautiful modern vacation house with a classic twist. This 3 bed, 3.5 bath home was built in 2022, so it has up-to-date amenities and spacious lounge areas filled with timeless furniture. Located in the heart of Falmouth, this Cape treasure is tucked away in a quaint neighborhood for the ultimate getaway.

Once you park in the driveway and enter your vacation dream, walk into the open concept dining, kitchen, and living room area with fireplace, a grand piano, and a cascade of natural lighting. The sliding doors open up to the private fenced backyard area for outdoor grilling, dining, and relaxation; and the outdoor shower allows you to hose off stubborn sand after a day on the beach.

This vacation home can comfortably handle from nine to eleven guests! The master bedroom includes two walk-in closets, and personal master bath, as well as its own entrance to the private backyard. The second floor boasts a high ceiling loft which connects two bedrooms. The first room includes a full-sized bunk bed with an extra mattress at the bottom, while the second bedroom houses a queen-sized bed. More guests can stay on the couch in the loft area which converts into a pull-out bed. The second floor hosts its own full bath with tub, with a double sink to accommodate multiple people. There are washer and dryer in the mudroom on the 1st floor, next to the powder room. The finished basement features a spacious full bath, a game room, a TV room, and a bar for you to enjoy!

The house cools down by the three-zone central A/C, ensuring everyone stays comfortable during summer. The property offers beach chairs, a fully-equipped kitchen, all linens and towels, board games and books. There are 5 smart TV's in the house allowing you to watch your favorite programs and movies on any of the three levels of the home.

You can find the beach, shopping center, and downtown Falmouth all within a mile radius. Explore the surrounding areas, like the Nobska lighthouse, historical Highfield Hall and Gardens, and Woods Hole Science Museum or take the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. Wherever your adventure takes you, make your Cape Cod vacation memorable by living in luxury when you visit historic Falmouth.

We love Cape Cod - since we first stayed in a vacation house of our colleague at Harvard Medical School, in summer 2002, it's been a dream of ours for many years to own a small part of this quintessential New England paradise. In 2022-2023, a new street of contemporary single-family properties was built in Falmouth and we were among the happy owners of a new construction house. As snowbirds, we have experience renting properties in Massachusetts and in Florida and create spaces that are both clean and modern, but with a coziness that we ourselves love to experience for part of the year.

What is special about this property?
It's rare to find a new residential construction on the Cape, featuring all the modern amenities that you could want. We were lucky to find this house only 0.75 miles away from Bristol beach, just 1.2 miles from Falmouth center, and a 15 minute drive to Wood's Hole for the ferry to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.

The house itself has an open concept kitchen, dining, and living room, with a gas fireplace for staying cozy in the evenings. The modern style marries with the classic cape cod decorations to create not just a vacation house, but a home away from home, where families and friends can stay for weeks at a time and explore everything Cape Cod has to offer.

What is special about your town?
Falmouth is one of the cutest towns on the Cape, conveniently closer to Boston than other destinations, and close to Wood's Hole for the ferry to Nantucket and Wood's Hole. The Cape Cod Rail Trail - one of the best bicycle trails in the country - starts from nearby Hyannis. Falmouth has plenty to offer in terms of boutique shopping, little restaurants, and ice cream shops - it's always bustling!
