Where to begin! The Seaside Gem was the perfect home away from home for our week in Falmouth. The home was beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you'd want for a beach week! We very much enjoyed and utilized the dog and baby gear. We also enjoyed the neighborhood feel of the community - everyone we came across on our many walks were incredibly friendly and the playground in walking distance was amazing!

From the moment we arrived and parked easily, and peeked into the back yard with its smiling chairs, table and hammock, we knew we had found a great spot.

Kat and Eric had everything we needed in the house and we had the answers to any question we might have right at our fingertips. And how pretty it is! I am a detail person and so I enjoyed the bedding colors and play of patterns, the art work and the dishes and every little detail. We cooked, we grilled, we had family all around the table to eat on the holiday, we played games inside and out, we walked to see the sunset behind the tennis courts and across the water, and we walked all the way to the part of Menauhant that runs along the ocean in the mornings.

We rented the house for a week with my son, daughter-in-law and grandkids. The house exceeded our expectations! It was clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the linens and blankets were clean and substantial. The location was perfect, just a block away from a magnificent pool. The beaches, all different, were within a short driving distance. The outdoor shower was a huge success. It was roomy and comfortable.
There is so much to do in Falmouth with kids and we were busy every day!!
We would love to return next summer.

We had a wonderful time on our recent Cape vacation in Falmouth, thanks to our stay at the Seaside Gem. Wonderfully appointed and equipped, Kat and Eric's house had everything we needed. They included a great little guide for the house and neighborhood, which was thoughtfully designed and very thorough.

Bedrooms (3)- comfortable beds, and plenty of pillows!

Kitchen/dining- adorable plateware, plenty of utensils, good size fridge. I'm unaccustomed to cooking on an electric stove, but we made it work! The dining room comfortably sat 6

Bathrooms- including the outdoor shower which was AMAZING, clean and comfortable with helpful storage and equipment like hair dryers.

Central air- worked better than we even dreamed! So comfortable and easy to adjust with the theromostat.

Outside- the gas grill outside was great, and the adirondack chairs and bistro lights were great.

Neighborhood- quiet and lovely, with many year-rounders who were so friendly

Other notes:
- we didn't do the pool weekly rental as it was pretty pricey, but it's very close by just down the street
- the pond is brackish, and meets the bay at the south end, which made the current pretty strong most days! A little tough for our kayak and SUPs

We truly enjoyed our trip to Falmouth, and would recommend this house to any family of 6 (or less)- it's just right! Thank you to Kat and Eric!!

We absolutely loved this little seaside gem. The location was perfect for all the day trips we had planned. We rented bikes for the week right in Falmouth. One day we biked to the ferry for Marthas Vineyard and spent the day biking and exploring. We visited several of the beaches which were listed in the very detailed guest book that became our definite go to for information. The house was lovely and very well stocked with all the essentials. As people who love to cook, we were pleasantly surprised with how well stocked the kitchen was, from the quality knives to the garlic press! Lastly, Kat and Eric were extremely helpful in all our inquiries and interactions. It is apparent that they love the town of Falmouth and their cottage is a true reflection of Cape Cod! Our visit was amazing and perfect in every way. We would highly recommend the Seaside Gem for a wonderful Cape Cod visit!

PS One of our day trips included taking the kids(ages 9 and 11) to the Adventure Park which was a fun rope course and zipline park. Kids loved it. Then we went to Sandy Neck Beach which was perfect for swimming( highly recommend this beach)

We had such a lovely week at the Seaside Gem! Our party of 6 (grandparents, parents, and 2 kids) enjoyed the coziness of house and the thoughtful activities for kids of all ages (puzzles, books, board games, and beach games). Eric and Kat's well stocked kitchen gave us the flexibility to eat in and their local restaurant suggestions helped us decide where to eat out. During the heat wave, it was nice to cool off in the outdoor shower and in the central AC of the house. We hope to visit again next summer!

We had a wonderful time at the Seaside Gem. The house was well laid out for my 2 young sons and we were all really comfortable. The nearby playground was very good and we loved exploring the nearby beaches. Kat was really helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay again. Thank you

Our family of 5 loved staying at the Seaside Gem. The house is exactly what you hope for with a Cape rental- in a wonderful neighborhood, well appointed with everything you need, great community amenities and we could bring our dog! The house has a great seaside vibe and hotel-quality beds/pillows. We hope to be back next summer!

The Seaside Gem was a great vacation spot. The home is very comfortable with everything you need to relax. It is located in a great neighborhood with a community pool and tennis. The beaches are just down the street as well as shopping and restaurants.

Great backyard for hanging out, we brought cornhole and the hammock that house has is awesome. Outdoor shower perfect for coming back from the beach. Falmouth Heights beach was only 1.4 miles away and had awesome seashells everywhere. Our family of 8 kids,teens, and adults and our 2 pugs really really enjoyed our stay at the Seaside Gem.

We loved staying at the Seaside Gem! From the start, Kat and Eric were super organized and communicative. Any and all questions were easily answered in the digital welcome book (and physical book) Easy check-in and codes for the doors. The yard is perfect for hanging out in the Adirondack chairs and reading after a day at the beach and a refreshing outdoor shower! Bedrooms are all spacious with super comfy beds and great linens. It's all punctuated by thoughtful decorative touches throughout the house and LOTS of nautical themed hooks for bathrobes and wet towels! Between the four of us we never used the indoor showers - the outdoor shower is SO GOOD!!
We mostly drove to Menauhant Beach but it's also a quick bike ride away. (Bikes fit easily in the locked shed) The quiet neighborhood is lovely for evening walks and there are also some great walks highlighted in the welcome book. We did them all! A morning walk to The Black Dog Cafe with our pup was our favorite.
A delightful week! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the Seaside Gem in Falmouth! The house was perfect for our family, including our dog, and the location was terrific! As part of a quiet, walkable community, it was just steps from the water (site of beautiful sunsets), as well as a playground, tennis courts, and pool. The location is convenient to beaches, shops, and all that the Cape has to offer.
The house itself was absolutely lovely! It had the charm of a traditional Cape Cod home, but also updates for modern comfort, such as central air conditioning. The home was immaculate and decorated beautifully. The beds were so comfortable! The kitchen was well equipped - we especially loved the coffee bar! The new grill was great for easy summer cooking, and the outdoor furniture was perfect for dining alfresco.
We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again! Thank you to our wonderful hosts!

My wife and I enjoyed this off season week in Falmouth for some golfing, bike riding and walks along the beach. The home was perfect for us as we like to cook and the kitchen is well stocked and the outdoor grill is new and works great. The house seems like it was freshly painted and the chairs/beds and furniture all seem new. The location near the beach club was great and we could have played tennis or pickleball if we brought our rackets. Highly recommended.
