Our family just left after a wonderful week in Falmouth! We absolutely loved this house. It had plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids. The home is really spacious and well-laid out for a large group. Our favorite spots were the screened-in porch and kitchen/dining area. We also had some great time by the fire pit (with s'mores, supplied by the owners!). The kayaks and paddle boards were a huge hit and our kids loved paddling around. The house was better equipped than any other Cape house we've stayed at and the hosts were extremely thoughtful and communicative. The neighborhood is beautiful and we loved the easy walk to the beach. We made great memories with our extended family. We will definitely be back! show more show less

My family recently stayed for a week at this adorable property! The location was perfect; a quick bike ride to the beach, a few steps from the pond, and a short drive to Main Street or the Island Queen in Falmouth. Everything about the accommodations were so thoughtful and intentional; shower products fully stocked in each bathroom, laundry and dish detergent, a s'mores welcome basket, plenty of beach chairs, yard games, beach towels, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. We had more than enough space for seven adults for the whole week. Most of our time was spent on the screened-in porch, drinking coffee and reading our books. The homeowner was extremely responsive and gave us a ton of awesome recommendations. I stayed at CQ with my daughter during the holidays and we couldn't have been happier! The house is tastefully decorated, amply appointed, and beautifully furnished. The beds are especially comfortable, and we both slept great. Even though it was just the two of us, there's plenty of bedrooms and lounge areas for a family / group. The screened in porch is a particularly nice spot that I imagine is just perfect in the summer. While the house itself is wonderful and provides everything you could want or need, the location of this home is one of its greatest assets. The house is steps (literally across the street) to a calm and scenic saltwater pond, as well as only a 10 minute walk to a beach on the Sound with a view of Martha's Vineyard in the distance. Additionally, this house is so conveniently located close to Mashpee Commons and Falmouth Center for shopping and dining. The hosts provided us with so much information about the area and must-do's while we were there; we so appreciated their generosity in telling us all the best locals and touristy spots to visit. You couldn't ask for a better place on the Cape for a vacation! We loved visiting this area during the holidays, and we're also looking forward to staying at Captain's Quarters in the summertime to experience all the Cape has to offer in the warmer months! show more show less
