The home has cathedral ceilings and fireplace. Light and bright kitchen. 2/3 bedroom 1 bath single family home with parking for two cars. Home consists of a living room, eat in kitchen, mudroom, 2 bedroom (queen and two twins), and small office with twin bed. Washer and dryer in unfinished basement

Enjoy the private beach just a walk down the street. Dogs considered, No cats, and No smoking or vaping, no candles, no incense. Summer rental is three night minimum.

Under 30 days requires 14.45% Mass Rentals Tax.

    Our family has owned this property since the 1890s. The present home was built in 1902 and my Aunt and Dad inherited it in the 1980s. We have been renting it summers for the last 40 years. All of the income received from the rental goes back into the rental and we have wholeheartedly enjoyed being stewards of this classic antique home. We spend months at the home both in the spring and the fall dutifully maintaining the home so that it is in great shape for the tenants to enjoy their vacation.

    What is special about this property?
    This home is one of the classic shingle style homes created at the beginning of the last century. The boathouse was installed in the late 1920s. It has been said that the views from this home are unparalleled throughout the cape/Buzzards Bay area. It is a true treasure.

    What is special about your town?
    The hamlet of Megansett includes a small library, pickle ball court, baseball field, tennis court, coffee shop, small convenience store, public beach, and pizza/sandwich shop. Not to mention the town is the starting point for the shining sea bike path.
