The house on the water was perfect for my family's vacation. It was well located to the ferry, food and entertainment. We appreciated the quiet retreat on the water after a busy day of sightseeing. Mary reached out several times to make sure we were ok and was very responsive when we asked a question. Great stay! Thank you!

This Airbnb is a true gem. When you see a listing with few reviews that's new to the site it's always a gamble but this only really delivered. It was perfect for 4 adults and a baby, and the layout gave everyone their own space to unwind. The real star is the deck and water view. I could've spent hours on that deck or down on the private dock. Located near Falmouth and easy to get elsewhere while so peaceful it made us wonder why we kept venturing out. Additional amenities like a stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and outdoor shower all added to our experience. We appreciated all the beach chairs and towels, often cape houses have few if any. This restful place was a perfect vacation home. The location on an estuary in East Falmouth allowed you to escape from the hassle and stress of this crazy world and yet you are only minutes to the shops and restaurants of Falmouth. It was a short five minute drive to Menahaunt Beach and only a ten minute ride to Woodshole. But our most favorite place to be was on the back porch. Siping coffee in the morning and cocktails later that day.
The house had three large bedrooms. The master bedroom has a Juliet porch overlooking the estuary giving you a perch to watch the birds as they frolic in their natural habitat. The California king size bed was the biggest one I have slept in. The two other bedrooms had a queen bed and two twin beds. All the beds were comfortable and the bedding made you feel like you were staying in a five star hotel,
The living room opened to the dining room which was open to the modern kitchen. The whole house seemed to be open to the world with three wide paneled sliding doors and numerous skylights. This gave you a panoramic 180 degree view of Green Pond. It was cozy, bright , and light all at the same time.
The owners Mary and Jerry were very attentive to our needs. We will be returning next year. Our only regret was that we did not book for a longer stay. show more show less

So enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere from the porch.
A very private oasis.

The landlords are very kind and responsive. The house is well very clean, stocked for entertaining and grilling.

Hope to return again... we miss the ducks and swans.

As soon as I walked in the door I felt the serene environment.
One of my most favorite things about staying here was, the view. The open concept in the home, the windows showing the waterfront and the separate living space upstairs. These are a few of the benefits staying here.
Everything you need is there. Just bring your clothes.

We had a wonderful end-of-summer weekend at Mary's and we cannot wait to come back and stay again! The house feels amazingly private and the dock is great if you have a boat (although note that the bridge out of Green Pond is very low, so if you have a larger boat you will need to plan around the tide). The location is phenomenal, very accessible to everything but still quiet and peaceful. Mary was the perfect host and all her instructions were very thorough and accurate. There was ample space for our family and the decks were an added bonus for relaxing outdoors. We were very fortunate and had perfect weather, but you can tell Mary's house is well equipped to keep you snug and entertained even in inclement weather. Our stay was great! Really clean and big property perfect for our group. Super peaceful.

What an incredible stay we had at Lynn and Jerry's home for 5 weeks on Green Pond. We loved the setting and looked forward to opening our shades each morning to enjoy the beautiful serene views of the water, bird life and the tall grasses. Sitting on the deck was paradise and made it impossible not to relax and feel so lucky to have found such a gem. The house is very comfortable and has everything you could need from lobster pots to beach chairs. and kayaks. Lynn and Jerry were perfect hosts, always availble to answer our questions and accomodate our needs. Another great feature to the house is it's poximenty to everything you could need even though when your in the house, you feel like you're a million miles from civilization. Smitty's ice cream, the best on the cape, is right at the end of the street - another major plus!If you're looking for a little piece of paradise, book now, word is getting out!

Such a beautiful place on the water!! The landlords were great and provided everything you would need. Fully stocked house with all the fixings!! We rented for a couple months while working there and wished we would have stayed longer to enjoy the summer there and kayak right off the back dock. I would highly recommend this place and can't wait to rent it again!!
