Description

Description

Welcome to Cape Cod, the home of beaches and hydrangeas. Our home is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath adorable stunner.

Walk into the living room, lots of windows and warm pine paneling, large “smart ish” TV set up for
streaming with Roku, the fireplace (you won’t need on 85 degree days) but nice anyway, sandals storage basket by the front door.

The fully renovated kitchen has gas cooking, coffee corner, microwave, dishwasher, and small island.

The master bathroom has a queen bed, TV, closet, plenty of drawer space and black out pleated shades and black out drapes. Sleep well.
The second bedroom has a double bed, closet, drawer space and slider to back deck with safety bar.
The remolded bath is all blue and white with a walk in shower.

New laundry room. Full size washer/dryer side by side, pantry and door to backyard.

Hopefully you will spend most of your time outside. Our Association Beach is just a 15 minute stroll away, you can drive but most people walk. You are also surrounded by all of the pristine Falmouth and Mashpee beaches. When you get back from the beach enjoy the outside shower right off the deck (no need to clean inside when there is an outside shower). Then relax in the Pawley’s Island hammock or choose the padded chaise lounge. Or make Smoores around the fire pit.

On the deck you will find a new gas grill, a dining table with seating for 4
There is a lockable shed to store things you might bring like bikes.

If you have a kayak or paddle board, please bring it. The Childs River is literally across the street and accessible by Association access right of ways.

The house is equipped with central air and a whole house generator to keep you as comfortable as possible. Please just relax and enjoy. All amenities and linens are included.

I wish you sunshine and lots of fried clams.

Hi Hazel here. As a child my family summered here in East Falmouth, and I fell in love. I knew from then on I would return. I spent 2 years looking for my perfect home. I was a Realtor at the time and we always tell buyers to put their wants in order because you will never get everything you want at the price you want. I prove there is an exception to every rule. After a few years of planning and renovations here we are.
I hope you are falling in love with the Cape too!

What is special about this property?
Location location location! Is the first and greatest asset. Seacoast Shores and its people are great. Could not ever find better neighbors. So important.
Also we are on one of, if not the largest Peninsula in Falmouth. Protected from traffic. Perfect for walking or biking. There are many right of ways to put in a paddle board or kayak, one is just 2 houses away. Super convenient.
Our own private beach is another reason to be here. It is just 1/2 mile away. Walk or ride your bike, or drive. Our beach is on the Child's River. It is salt water and shallow so therefore warmer. If you feel like you can make it in between the boats cruising up and down the river, swim over to Washburn Island directly across from the beach. There are some beach things in the shed.
What is perfect about my house is that it is quid essential cape cod, all about having fun and being content.

What is special about your town?
Falmouth has everything. More beaches than you can count and Oh the seafood!
The Nob for west coast views of sunsets.
The Shining Sea Bike path for hours of fun. It is 10.7 miles long. Runs from County Rd to Woods Hole, which is the perfect spot for that seafood I mentioned.
Of course there is downtown Falmouth where there are events planned almost every weekend on the library green or Main St Fairs. We have the farmers market by the harbor on Thursdays. In July and August St. Barnabus downtown has lobster rolls very good and very reasonable. To be followed by a Smitty's Ice Cream on the way home. And of course the shops.
