We have lived in this home for the past 15 years and have greatly enjoyed the place. We hope that you enjoy it as much as we did.
What is special about this property?
You really feel surrounded by nature. Common sights are osprey, turkeys, raccoons, rabbits, many songbirds, and occasional deer. The lake has very clean water and a healthy ecosystem, with fish, turtles, ducks, geese, and cormorants. It's great for swimming and canoeing.
Just down the road is Coonamessett Farm, where you can pick your own fruits and vegetables, pull eggs out from under the chickens, and visit their farm animals.
The ocean beach (Old Silver, one of the Cape's best beaches) is a short drive away. And the Shining Sea 11-mile bike trail, also a short drive away, runs from North Falmouth down to Woods Hole.
What is special about your town?
Falmouth is a charming Cape Cod town with a small-town feel but with all the services of a larger place - supermarkets, hospital with a large emergency department, 24-hour pharmacy, cinema, theater, etc.
Outdoor activities abound with our beautiful beaches, biking on the famed Shining Sea bike trail, hiking, fishing, mini-golf, and more. Falmouth is also the gateway to Martha's Vineyard with ferry service from Woods Hole.
