This is our first season renting the house for a limited time during the spring, summer and fall seasons. We have enjoyed the house for the better of 60 years and familiy members continue to come together from New York, Colorado, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Florida.

We have always enjoyed this precious getaway and hope others can create memorable experiences. The minute you cross that bridge and get a breath of that sea air you'll feel the stress relief.

What is special about this property?
The house was supposedly rolled down from another plot long ago and the wrap around added at a later date. The porch offers stunning views of the sunsets across the bay. The house is situated on a hill overlooking the cottages below and has always acted as a safe haven for tidal flooding from storms.

What is special about your town?
Megansett is an established, quiet town where many of the residents have known each other for many years. It has alot to offer: Hardware store, Convenient marts, ice cream parlor, local restaurants, pizza, library, bank/atm, tennis courts / pickel ball .... yes pickel ball, nearby beach, ramp and dock access. One of our favorites is the bikeway - the Shining Sea Bikeway is a beautiful, 10.7-mile paved trail that runs from North Falmouth to its southern terminus in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. It is the only bikeway on Cape Cod that runs directly alongside the sea, making it a highly popular and scenic ride.
