This was our first vacation on Cape Cod and this home was perfection! The landscape with the most beautiful flowers that surrounded the pool out back was my favorite! The homeowners were amazing! When we arrived the first day, they gave us a tour and made us feel so welcomed in their home! We could feel the pride they have for their home as they spoke about the house, the grounds and the area! All the rooms were clean and beautifully decorated with that Cape Cod charm that I was hoping for!
They gave us a packet that had everything from local recommendations, to a how to guide for all audio, lighting and anything pool related. They went over all details and made sure we didn't have any questions! They also checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our stay and we didn't need anything! This home had perfect spaces to hang out and entertain as well as having your own space if you need some alone time! This home had it all! Forget a beach chair? No worries, they have you covered! Beach chairs, pool toys and sand toys for you to use as well as lots of beach towels! All you need is your sunglasses and a good book! They made vacationing here so easy and stress free! Planning to cook? This home has everything you need from pans & bakeware to spices and platters for entertaining! We stayed during July 4th week and had everything we needed for a cookout for the holiday! We had a wonderful week in East Falmouth! The beaches, the food, THIS HOME! We will be back!

Where to begin? Sue was a delight to work with. Thoroughly professional,helpful and responsive.

10 members of our family spent a very enjoyable week in the property. The house was large enough that everyone felt comfortable. The outside patio and heated pool were a huge hit with our grandkids. Great location, very safe to walk around and an easy stroll to the beach.

Over the years we have rented a variety of homes on the cape with a diverse array of strengths- location, hosts, size, layout, and comfort yet this is the first time I can honestly say that we found a house that has it all.
The location is perfect- a walk to the beach and a short bike ride or drive to the quaint shops and restaurants in downtown Falmouth. It is also minutes from the ferry where we took a day to meet friends on Martha's Vineyard.
The hosts, Susan, and David, were warm and attentive, supplying everything from paper products to toiletry items along with a well-stocked kitchen which was truly appreciated. They were also readily available during our stay for any and all questions that arose along the way.
Then there was the house itself, which exceeded all expectations. We immediately fell in love with the pool area, which was beautifully landscaped, lit at night, and even included a state-of-the-art sound system to enjoy music throughout our stay. The living areas were so comfy, and the bedrooms were spacious and well spread out for privacy.
If you want a getaway to a beautiful, quintessential cape home with your family or friends, this home will offer you the vacation of a lifetime!

My five friends and I stayed at this home in August and had the most wonderful getaway.
The house is beautiful (photos don't come close to capturing the true beauty), and the 86-degree temperature saltwater pool meant that we never had to venture to the beach for fun. Everyone in my party was really into music, and the integrated audio-video system allowed us to play the music we each wanted to hear in every corner of the house: pool, kitchen, living room, family room, and more.
David and Sue were fantastic hosts, greeting us upon arrival, walking us through the intricacies of the house, and making sure we felt 100% at home before leaving us.
We're planning our 2024 soon and look forward to returning to our new favorite place for pool, beach and sound.

This is our second annual summer vacation in this lovely home! We loved it so much the first year we even recommended it to friends who enjoyed it as well! The layout of the home is perfect for a comfortable extended family vacation! The pool and backyard oasis makes it hard to justify the quick walk or drive to the local beach! The home entertainment system and technology is state of the art. The sense of ease the owners provide by including everything allows the guests to truly relax! What a wonderful property! Spacious, beautifully decorated, very well cared for, and everything you could possibly need for a wonderful vacation. The outdoor space is perfect with a beautiful saltwater pool, ample & comfortable seating, thoughtful lighting, and a large table for dining or playing games. Our family of 5 had a terrific time and would definitely return.

One of the best features of this house is just how friendly and helpful the hosts, Susan and David, are. We've rented many Cape homes over the years and they are by far the most gracious hosts!

We had such a lovely stay in this beautiful home. There was plenty of room for our family of 9 - our 3 adult children, their 2 spouses, and two young grandchildren (3yrs & 3 mos). We are always looking for the perfect place to be able to spend quality time and make memories - and this fit the bill perfectly. We would ALL highly recommend!!! The outside was so beautifully laid out, flowers abounded and kept my granddaughter busy, I think she smelled each of them, and of course watered them as well. Loved the furniture outside to just hang out on, and we made great use of the grill, and the sizeable outdoor dining space. All around wonderful time BBQing with all of the serving platters, cooking utensils we needed at hand. The pool was so big, and comfortably warm, and they even supplied a few toys to use from their shed, besides the ones we always pack ourselves! My granddaughter loved the handy little door off the patio that went to a bathroom right by the pool! Overall, there was plenty of room in the yard to do whatever we needed, including a sizable grassy area for cornhole or kicking a ball (or watching the bunnies). We did also rent bikes locally that were delivered to our door, and later picked up (little riders may just need to be helped to a better spot across the road to ride), plus we walked to the beach!

The house itself worked perfectly for us. It had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, comfy beds, room to hang our clothes, tabletops to hold keys, glasses, etc., places to plug in chargers - everything that makes a stay easy, and your sleep restful. The layout enabled us to keep the family w/kids a bit separated, so they didn't worry about waking the rest of us during nighttime feedings, plus they were also able to put the kids to bed while the adults stayed up to play - and that we did, making use of the assorted games that were provided.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and one we will treasure. The owners, Sue and David, were great communicators and very accommodating. So, between the home, the hosts, and the locations with its proximity to the ocean, charming towns, and numerous restaurants - this place can't be beat. We would definitely return and will not hesitate to highly recommend!!!

My family has stayed in this home for the past two summers. It has everything you need! We spend the majority of our time relaxing and having fun with friends and family in the backyard… From the heated pool and comfortable furniture, to the extended backyard, which allows for lots of fun during corn hole tournaments- you simply can't beat it! The inside of the home is spacious, comfortable, and very inviting. It lends itself to hosting. Thank you Susan and David for allowing us to make your home our home during our stay!

My husband surprised me with a 60th birthday vacation on the Cape, and the house he rented far exceeded all of my expectations, and he knows how picky I am! The layout was so open and airy, with French doors on the first floor that opened to the most magnificent salt water pool and lounging for all of our friends and family who joined us for a few days! The weather was not ideal, unfortunately, but we found fun things to do nonetheless! Whether it was the plethora of board games the hosts provided, the comfy family room where we watched movies and read, or the cutest downtown area where we ate and shopped, I can't adequately explain how special this home is. And Susan and David were impeccable hosts, as the provided for every possible need and were always responsive if we ever had a question or concern. We are definitely going back!

Thank you to Susan and David for renting out this incredibly inviting and perfectly laid out home to us! We stayed in July 2022 with a total of 9 people (5 adults, 4 kids). The heated saltwater pool with nighttime lighting combined with the generous outdoor seating created a backyard oasis! The speaker system inside and outside was wonderful!

The home has everything included! Beach chairs, towels, toiletries as well as a kitchen with every possible cooking tool you could need! Susan and David provide wonderful beach and dining recommendations. Walking to the beach is perfectly doable but we chose to make the short drive with all of our gear. It was literally one minute!

Our family believes what sets this home above the rest are the hosts who are extremely accommodating, welcoming and communicative. Thank you so much! We will be recommending this home to our friends and hope to come back again!

This summer was the 4th time that we have stayed at this property - that in itself really highlights what we think of it! It truly feels like a home from home and the owners over the years like long distance relatives!

The house is spacious, well appointed and clean. There is honestly absolutely everything you could want on hand, and if there is anything you need, Sue and David will always endeavor to help!

The bedrooms are comfortable and cozy; the living and dining areas functional and bright. The master bedroom has a lovely deck outside to enjoy a morning cup of coffee!

The highlight of the house is the stunning garden and beautiful pool area. Relaxing, barbecuing, swimming ... it's really just perfect.

The house is also so well situated. Walking distance to beaches and just a short drive into Falmouth town where there are so many amazing restaurants and quaint shops.

We look forward to going back again soon!

My husband and I rented this house for two weeks in the middle of August with our children and grandkids. The house, located in East Falmouth, is beautifully decorated and there is plenty of common spaces, living room, family room, sun porch, for everyone to gather in. The kitchen was very well appointed, complete with all of the essentials. The large kitchen table was beautifully placed in a gorgeous sunroom overlooking the fabulous heated salt water pool. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. Another plus for us was the short walk to the public beach. The whole experience was exceptional. We would definitely rent this house again.

From the beautifully landscaped grounds, to the well appointed pool area, solarium and super comfortable den, this house is chock full of everything you need to have a great vacation. A fully stocked cook's kitchen with pots, pans and plenty of dishware, plus five bedrooms and four bathrooms makes it easy to entertain a crowd. The bedrooms are located throughout the house for maximum privacy. There's even a bar!

I've rented on Martha's Vineyard for the last 29 years, so I'm familiar with what a rental supplies, but this house really delivered. There were spices and condiments (so annoying to have to buy), kitchen and bathroom supplies, plus AC, five tv's and a sound system for the pool. A really nice private beach is a short walk away. There's plenty of parking. We had a family Fourth of July picnic and nobody could believe what a great house we'd found. This is really a special property, and the owners couldn't be nicer. I'm giving it an 11 out of 10!

What a wonderful home! The gardens are beautiful and the interior design and décor have such character. I took lots of photos of the gardens - the wisteria, the many annuals, the logs at the side of the house behind two huge trees. The interior is just as beautiful - such attention to detail! I love the old typewriter, and the screen in the corner of one of the many rooms.

We stayed for a week at the end of Summer 2015. My husband and I, our two kids age 11 and 6. My husband's parents, an aunt and uncle also joined us. They were visiting from Ireland and we wanted somewhere extra special to vacation with them. This house was certainly it! Everyone had a wonderful week. The layout of the house provided privacy and get-togethers as needed. The pool area is wonderful. Lots of comfortable seating/sunbathing areas. So many books, board games, DVDs for us to choose from! We were delighted to find a copy of "Jaws" and we watched it following our visit to Martha's Vineyard (which was so easy to get to from the house via the ferry close by).

The house was spotless and everything you could possibly need was supplied. I would highly recommend a stay here!

This spectacular property was the perfect base for our summer retreat in Cape Cod with easy access to beaches, Falmouth and other Cape Cod town as well as highway access for further exploration.

The house itself was spacious, well presented and had absolutely everything we needed. The garden was beautiful, and we spent many afternoons and evenings relaxing outdoors, either by the barbecue or enjoying the pool.

The owner, Sue, was very welcoming, helpful and always just a phone call away if we needed anything. Everything was thought of including a great house booklet that provided us not only with how things around the house worked but also with recommendations of places to visit and eat around the area.

We stayed for a blissful 4 weeks and loved it so much, we have already booked our return visit for summer 2017!

We were 2 families of 4 adults and 4 kids and we had great time in this beautiful house. Everything was so organized and clean and the kids loved it. We felt there is nothing out there that can be more fun for us than spending the time at the house. Of course, Sue was great and very helpful. We would love to visit again

What a terrific vacation! We stayed for two weeks just after the Labor Day holiday. The home (and I use the word "home" intentionally) was wonderful. The bones of old Cape Cod but with charming updates. Sleeping areas (5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms) were sprinkled throughout the house- upstairs, a downstairs addition, a room off of the kitchen- this really allowed the house to accommodate guests and family easily, especially those that needed first floor rooms. In addition to the living room, there was a comfortable game/tv room and an enclosed pool area (what I would call a "Tiki Bar"). Even on cooler days the glassed conservatory dining area brought light and warmth into the home. The pool was heated, and the house was outfitted with pool toys, rafts, beach chairs and umbrellas. The gardens were classic Cape Cod and the hammock was seldom empty. The location was perfect for us. Walks to the private Davisville Beach, the public Menahunt Beach, Green Pond Harbor and the beautiful Bourne Pond gave us great choices for exploring on foot. Natural beauty and Cape Cod history surrounded us. The town of Falmouth was a short drive as were the beaches of South Cape Beach State Park, Old Silver and Chapoquoit. As my mother says, "God willing, we will be back."

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. The home was clean, spacious, and Susan the owner was great to work with. The home had everything we needed from plenty of beach towels, chairs to use at the beach, a heated pool and TV's in every bedroom.

Hi Susan: I vacationed at your 5 star resort home the first week of August 2011. I wanted to vacation with my children and grandchildren and create memories and I sure did.

I have vacationed down the Cape for many years and am quite familiar with the lower Cape but not Falmouth - I loved it. We were lucky to have seven days of sun and warm weather. I never thought about a pool - why would I - the beach was there. But this was a feature that was used constantly by the grandchildren. Your home had everything you could desire and want. Space was plentiful and what could I say about the lush surroundings. Then the walks to the beach and making sand castles. There wasn't one negative voiced by anyone in my family about this vacation week. I loved lying in the hammock and reading - how restful. Music surrounded us all day.

I can truly recommend this to any family who will have all the amenities they could desire to make this a memorable vacation. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Hi Sue,
We knew from the photos on the website, that your house was going to be a nice place to stay, but, WOW!!!....it was even better than we ever imagined! We knew the location was fantastic, and had fun parading down to the beach on foot, instead of on bikes or worrying about a parking space.

The pool was used almost non-stop, and my boys took great pride in keeping it covered at night, skimmed, and they were responsible for keeping track of the fantastic collection of pool toys. On the way back home to CT, my husband and I started thinking seriously that perhaps we should put a pool in our yard at home. It was tons of fun for everyone!

The landscaping is straight out of "Home and Garden"....we had our dinners outside at that great table, and spent many evenings there lingering with the music, a deck of cards, and a cocktail. (If we could get our kids to serve us as "waiters", it really would have been over the top!)

The kids played wiffle ball in the grassy area in back, and our 6 year old even took a nap in the hammock one afternoon!

All of the ammenities were first rate...the sound system was wonderful. (My brother-in-law, for some unexplained reason, likes Country music....if your neighbors had to suffer through the whining sounds of the Country music, please send our apologies!) Each bedroom was cozy, and to have a TV in each was on par with any 5 star hotel I've ever stayed in! The boys ended up in the upstairs bedroom, all together, and the 2 girls had a little paradise in the yellow downstairs room.

The kitchen was stocked with everything we could need, and to have such beautiful linens in a rented house is absolutely unheard-of!

Last, my sister and I agreed that we loved your decorating style. It is full of personality, with seaglass collections, the fun "bar" room, and little touches like antique trays and contemporary flower arrangements. The white-washed color palette is so restful and perfect for a summer house. We loved everything about it!

We will be back in Falmouth a few times over the summer, and perhaps will see you around the beach, town, or even a tag sale!...Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us. When we make our vacation plans for next year, 481 Davisville will be at the top of our list!
