Beautiful Neighborhood, Walk to Beach!

Perfect house for my family of 10; my husband, our 2 adult kids, their spouses and the four grand boys! We had a wonder time in this home. Enough room for all. The den was a real bonus! The kitchen is amazing with all the supplies you could possibly want and includes 2 dishwashers and 2 sinks! The rec room downstairs was perfect for the boys ages 6,4,3. The furniture throughout the house was comfortable and really nice! The large bedrooms are all decorated nicely and beds were very comfortable. We all enjoyed the rockers on the front porch. The yard was perfect too. The back yard was perfect for the boys and enough table space and chairs to have dinner outside. The shed had everything you could possibly want for the beach and more. We didn't use the bikes but they are available. We also didn't use the fire pit but the area is also perfect. The best was the walking convenience to the beach and Town. We are a growing family of three generations who have been coming to the Cape, and Harwich Port, for decades. We were so happy to find this house two years ago. It is perfect for us! It is a clean, well-designed, updated, spacious, and comfortable house in a lovely quiet neighborhood, yet still within walking distance of our favorite beach and all the nice shops and restaurants in Harwich Port. The outdoor areas are also spacious and comfortable with privacy, from the wrap around porch with rockers, to the patio that can accommodate a large family, the best outdoor shower, a relaxing firepit area with all the essentials, and a shed with everything you need for the beach and yard and then some. Basically, there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out or to hang out together, no matter the weather.

The owners are super organized and anticipate your every need. For example, the kitchen is well-stocked and labeled, there are tabletop powerstrips/charging stations in every room, and they provide a document containing all kinds of information about the house, trash pickup, recommendations for local shops and restaurants and activities. All the little details are appreciated. Melinda is a pleasure to deal with and always very responsive.

Location - 2 blocks from one of Cape Cod's nicest beach and 2 blocks from downtown Harwichport. This 5 BR colonial cape allows two families to stay in comfort with extra cool A/C for those hot summer days. Nantucket for the day, the ferry is only 2 minutes down the road. Top notch golf courses such as Cranberry Valley and Captains course are 10-15 minutes away.

Beautiful neighborhood. End your day with a refreshing rinse in the outdoor shower then relax in the spacious backyard for dinner and drinks. As night falls, the well stocked fire pit is a great way to end the day before heading to bed.

This is our second year renting this home and the idea was to bring together two families that were adjoined in marriage three years ago. With two grandchildren now in the mix, we'll look forward to returning every summer for what is an outstanding property! show more show less

We love Cape Cod, we love Harwich Port, and we definitely love this home. We have visited the Cape from our home in Syracuse, NY, for 30 years, starting as a young family, and now bringing along the teen grandchildren, and we can honestly say that we finally found our perfect Cape home to rent. Beautifully appointed with fun elements, like using oars as towel racks, this had everything to make our stay fun and enjoyable. Rocking away with a good book on the wrap around porch overlooking the blue hydrangeas, barbequeing out back on the very large patio/yard, or roasting marshmallows in a little landscaped alcove, everything here was created to insure comfort and pleasure. The owners even provided bikes and beach necessities housed in a cute shed out back.

And did we mention that the home was spotless? This is a lovingly cared for family home and property on an equally lovely street, two blocks from the beach and three blocks from town. The owners thought of every convenience including renting from Sunday to Sunday and not having their guests deal with the hurculean Saturday Mass Pike/Cape traffic. It was a memorable vacation in a beautiful home. We definitely hope to be back next year. Thanks.

We have rented for several years with our multi-generational family and really enjoy it. Easy walking distance to the beach, Harwichport town center, and ice cream. Great kitchen with everything that you need that is clearly marked. Terrific outdoor patio and grille. There is even a full basement to play games too. Very responsive owners.

My family and I have rented numerous homes on Cape Cod over many years. Never have we felt so comfortable and pleased with a home, its location, the amenities of the house, and the attentive owners!

Our family vacations with 3 generations, and each age finds something different they love about the house!! The wide wrap-around porch with many seating options is enjoyed by the older folks, the large backyard with patio, grill, and grassy area for lawn games is enjoyed by the younger ones, and all of us enjoy the location of this house and its proximity to beach, town, and Sundae School!

This house is nicknamed "The Grand EsCape," and our family thinks it is perfectly titled!! show more show less
