Perfect house for a family vacation and family celebration before our son starts his residency. Lake is crystal clear and excellent for swimming, fishing, or just relaxing. House was comfy with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Everyone had their own rooms. Lots of space!

I loved the dining table where we could all sit together. Of course our adult children loved the game room. Our grandson loved swimming and fishing off the dock! Outdoor bar and deck had a gorgeous view of the lake. Shopping and great restaurants were close by. When you're there stop in Woolfies bakery to get the biggest and best blueberry muffins.

We rented this home to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. This house was perfect. It has a first floor bedroom and bathroom. Perfect for elderly visitors. The kitchen was large and has everything you need to cook. There is plenty of room at the dining room table to eat! You can seat 10 or more people. The living room is spacious and there are games to play. Let's talk about the game room in the basement. It has a pool table, shuffle board and a large TV to watch baseball on.

The outside is wonderful. It has a great bar table to have a drink while barbecuing, We loved the fire pit. There is plenty of wood to use. They have a lovely dock to put out chairs and watch the sun go down.

This place is great inside and out. All of the bedrooms are amazing. No one will be unhappy with their room. I can't wait to rent it again...and again! show more show less

We stayed at this home in the beginning of May. The home has everything you need to have a great time. The whole home is so welcoming. The bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. There is so much to do... inside and out. There is a large game room with a pool table, shuffle board and a pinball machine! The living room has plenty of seating space, a large tv..by the way there are TV's in almost every room., and board games!

They have a wonderful fire pit that has lots of wood to burn on these cool nights! You are just steps away from long pond which when I put my feet in felt comfortable... and it was only May.

The sunrise and sunset views are spectacular! I highly recommend this home if you need a place to relax and unwind...even in the off season! show more show less

We enjoyed our Spring Break at Sue and Ian's beautiful home on Long Pond and didn't want to leave! Our group consisted of two families with 4 adults and 5 kids ages, 8, 11 and 13.

The home has everything you need (and more) for any size group. We all enjoyed the game room downstairs! What an amazing spot to hangout. It's got shuffleboard, fuse ball and a pool table, plus a huge TV!! Showers have great water pressure, which is always a plus!

When we did have questions about something house related, Sue and Ian were quick to respond. Even with cooler weather, we were able to enjoy the bikes and kayaks. The kids loved taking the bikes out and hopping on the Rail Trail to get pizza and ice cream at Pizza Shark! It's so close to the house.

We also enjoyed gathering around the fire pit. This house has everything you'll need to relax and enjoy a fantastic time on the Cape! We can't wait to go back! show more show less

We stayed at this lovely home for a week in February - and how we loved the space and location!

We were a party of 8, two different families of 4, and thus the two master bedrooms were a perfect fit for the two adult sets, with the kids all bunking in the bunk room and guest room when space was needed! The kitchen was spacious and well appointed with appliances and the refrigerator held both new food and leftovers from our evening dinners shared around the gorgeous (12 seater!) dining table. Each night we closed with a fire in the living room, a warming and cozy way to wrap up the day. The kids loved the basement playroom, although it was the adults who really enjoyed the pool table!

Location is truly desirable; we took walks around the crystal clear Long Pond, were minutes from the Chatham Lighthouse, and enjoyed the Rail Trail which has a stop in Harwich. Grocery and other shops were nearby when needed.

The family that rented to us was also very communicative both as we prepared for our trip and when we are actually at the home - they provided us with a list of local shops and activities and were available when we had a question about the grill on site - such a pleasant and helpful pair! show more show less

We had a great vacation on Cape Cod, and most of the reason is because of this fabulous house. We were a family of 9 with 3 generations in the house. We were more than comfortable both indoors and out. The house is clean and modern; there are 3 master bedrooms with master bathrooms plus 2 other bedrooms that use a hall bath. Practically everything in the house has been redone recently. There is a large open modern kitchen and a very large dining table. The outdoor areas include a fire pit, hammock area, bar area, table and chairs area and a private beach and dock across the road. Every one of these places, both indoors and out, have plenty of comfortable seating options. The homeowners left us kayaks and bikes and beach chairs etc to use as needed. Our 2 sons, in their 20's, both had to work during our week away and they had great internet service and were able to work while looking out at the amazing view of long pond!
The homeowners are extremely helpful, responsive and thoughtful. They really anticipate the needs of their guests. It is clear that they love their home and spend plenty of time there.
The house was cleaned and prepared so well for COVID. There were brand new towels, sheets and duvets. There was hand sanitizer in many of the rooms.
Location on the Cape is great. You are centrally located and close to Rte 6. There is a huge stop and shop in Harwich as well as other stores nearby.

My family -- including my senior citizen parents, kids and the family dog -- have made this amazing house our vacation home for the last two summers. I can't say enough about this house. The location is perfect, it is comfortable, well-maintained and well-equipped. It offers the best of Cape Cod without having to leave the house! We loved having our own private beach and dock and being right near the Cape Cod rail trail. There really is no shortage of things to do! We will keep coming back as long as the owners are willing to share (rent) it with us! show more show less
