This bright, open, roomy, and well-maintained home is 300 feet (one-minute walk) to a beautiful, deeded beach. It sleeps 6 guests, with 1 queen bedroom and 2 additional bedrooms with two twins each.

The house divides into 2 wings, one with 2 large bedrooms + full bath, and the other, which includes a large central living room w/cathedral ceiling, lots of comfortable seating, 2 flat screen SMART TVs and sliding doors out to back patio; third bedroom, additional 3/4 bathroom, large, airy kitchen/sitting area and front screened-in porch. To keep cool, there are ceiling fans in the living room and kitchen, great cross breezes and portable fans throughout.

Two favorite features are the outside shower with dressing area and the screened front porch with dining table- great for reading, writing or just watching people on their way to the beach. The sunny back patio has a brand new outdoor grill (2022), umbrella dining table, plenty of folding chairs to relax, and a nice lawn for games with the kids. The house sits in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, literally three houses away from Grey Neck Road Beach. A stroll down Shore Road brings you to Pleasant Beach (1/2 mile away), or walk in the opposite direction down Lower County Road past beautiful Wychmere Harbor to the shops and restaurants of Harwichport (just over one mile away). The lower mid-Cape location makes it easy to get to all Cape Cod attractions.

    Charming , comfortable home

    We have stayed in other rentals in the same area, but this was our favorite. There was plenty of room for us. Lots of room in the kitchen and luving room. Well stocked kitchen if you want to cook in. Outdoor shower very nice. Beds were very comfortable. Quiet road and close to beach. Homeowners were very responsive to any concerns or questions. Would definitely rent again

    Lovely cottage and great location!

    This is a great cottage with a spacious and inviting living room and a wonderful kitchen for relaxing and reading. Access to the beach is fabulous - a short 3 minute walk. The two main bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The house is light and airy! We love the sliders and the open view to the backyard in the living room. The backyard is a good size and private. The outdoor shower is excellent. Close to Harwichport and an easy drive to Chatham, among other destinations. We have stayed here two years now and enjoyed both our stays immensely. show more show less

    Wonderful location

    We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was the perfect location to the beach, just a 5 minute walk which worked out really well for my 5 yr. old grandson. The house was spotless upon arrival and had everything you need with plenty of room for all. Can't say enough good about Miriam! She was so wonderful through everything, from booking during a pandemic to checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

    Beyond Expectations

    My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our week in West Harwich. This home is set up so nicely. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The house is filled with light and gets a fabulous cross breeze with the windows and sliding doors are open. I enjoyed having coffee in the morning and watching people walk to the beach, wagons and kids in tow, from the screened-in porch. The beach was just at the end of the road, a two minute walk. On some days I walked the .3 miles to Pleasant Road Beach, just to get a different perspective. I would definitely go back. This is a lovely home to rent. show more show less

    Great Cape Vacation

    Our group of friends have been staying on the Cape for over 25 years and this was one of the best houses we’ve rented. We loved the location so close to both Grey Neck and Pleasant Road beaches. The house was really spacious and comfortable for 4 adults and we loved having dinner on the front screened porch. Even though we were there for 2 really hot weeks, the ceiling fans kept the house very comfortable. Miriam was a pleasure and very accommodating. She was also quick to answer emails and phone calls both before and during our vacation. We would love to stay here again in 2019! show more show less

    Wonderful

    We were so very pleased to see this beautiful house, and we loved it so much! It was perfect, so close to the beach, nice quiet neighborhood, and everything in the house was so clean and perfect. Our teenagers loved it. Miriam, the owner, was a pleasure to work with --she was very accommodating to all our needs. Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back for another stay.

    We have vacationed on Cape Cod annually since the 1960s, and have been owners of the house at 19 Grey Neck Rd. in West Harwich since the early 1980s. Two generations of our family have grown up on the Cape. We hold fond memories of all sorts of events, celebrations, and family gatherings here, and the prospect each year of being on the Cape keeps us going during the winter months. Being able to share our house with others who also love the Cape is a great pleasure for us.

    What is special about this property?
    The house has a wonderful open quality, with its high ceilings in the spacious living room and kitchen, and yet it is also quite comfortable and cozy. The front porch is a great place to sit, read, and watch the strolling beachgoers; and the backyard provides a terrific place for the early evenings, eating (for example) a delicious grilled dinner under the stars. And let's not forget that you step out the front door and you're on the beach in about a minute!!

    What is special about your town?
    West Harwich is in the center of Cape Cod, equidistant to Provincetown as well as to the Cape-entry towns of Mashpee and Sandwich. It has easy access to all of Cape Cod's main thoroughfares, Routes 6, 6A and 28. Still, 19 Grey Neck Road's particular location is peaceful, quiet and provides wonderful walking opportunities straight from the house. Harwichport, about 1.5 miles from the house, is great to stroll, with a bookstore, wonderful shops, restaurants, bakeries and beautiful houses to look at. There are fun activities for kids just a walk away including bumper boats, trampolines and go carts. Our beautiful Grey Neck beach is always just 300 feet away from the house, and the larger Pleasant Street Beach is very close by.
